Breaking up infinite power

I assume this is the right flair.

So I'm worldbuilding, and I have a crystal. It holds infinite power (pick a name for it). It gets broken and given equally to 10 people. They now all have 1/10th of infinite power, right?

So then what if one of them has a kid, and they break their shard in half to give to the kid. How does that work? Are they all still equally powerful? I know some infinities are larger/smaller than others. I'm just trying to figure stuff out for this and my 'tism won't let me back down.

[Request] Could Isabelle use the super shotgun?

So, assuming she has proper stance and technique, would she be able to use Doomguy's super shotgun? Or is she getting knocked back by the recoil?

Tapca Jy Evoe - Dreamwalker

Under a dark moon, a lone figure walks through the desert of the Dreamlands. Every step leaves no footprint. In his hand is a puzzle box, twisting and turning with every passing moment. He does not know where he is, nor what this strange device is. All he knows is that it must be solved. In the back of his mind is the chittering ramblings of a being beyond his knowledge. She speaks of a bridge between worlds, and its completion will return to him his memories and return him to his homeland.

Messing around with some ideas, decided to play with less colors and details than I usually do. I've also been playing too much of Fantasy Flight Games' Arkham Horror LCG. So, meet Totally Not Luke Robinson!

https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D59192706/

And for those who want to know the figure behind the bridge, the code is >!The Cycle!<

Colors used: Medium Deep 7,Teeth, Black (full black), Truffle Black, Sun-Dried Yellowtail, Rogue Black, Antique Brushed Copper, Bloodplate, Navy Plate, Sunhelm Hero, Gleening Green, System of a Brown, Violet Wandblast, Ironwave Spelltwist Purple, Rotting Harbor

Never Done HEMA, But Question:

So I've watched Sellsword Arts, Blumineck, Professor Bensei, and a few others, and it makes me wonder since I play dnd...

How would certain weapon pairings work? Like my longsword fighter goes up against a saber rogue. What would the choreagraphy of that fight look like both realistically and fantastically? Or any other weird weapon combos, like rapier and Sword+Buckler. I get traditionally weapons tend to go against similar weapons (rapier vs rapier, even if one is basket hilt and one is swept hilt), but I have to imagine at some point a french rapier and a spanish navaja went toe to toe somewhere.

Scouts and Character Deployment

I have a Primal Warherd with full command. The champion has the Skin of Man equipped, giving it scout and vanguard. If I want to deploy a character to that unit, can the unit have deployed in scout range, or does it have to be fully in the deployment zone?

Flock has to be owned by someone in the government

Flock, the public safety camera company currently spreading through the US, has set up thousands, if not tens of thousands, of cameras across the country. It just spread so fast. It went from not really being heard of to being a household name. I think someone in the US government owns the company. Its not gonna be some big name; its gonna be like a second or third highest in the CIA or FBI, maybe DOD or DHS. If its not owned by them, they're probably buddy-buddy. It just feels too quick. It was nowhere, then every major city, then the small towns.

Xylophone like song?

So just heard a song from someone else's phone, like a youtube short or something. I wasn't able to get shazam up in time. It was like a soft metal sound and I know its from like a 90s-early 00s game. Like

Du du du du, dah du du du du, du du du du, dah du du du du

There was also like a wavey type of sound? Maybe orchestral strings, I think. And I think it had a hi-hat too.

Like this?

[FN] Creford Wilton: The Warlock

The dirt roads through the Bayou were covered in more wheel trails and horse shit than usual. Those crossing though called the area what it was; the swamp of death. Any convoy going through need guards. Guards made the bandits come calling. The ensuing fight makes the beasts come. And then the Hunters come in to clean up the mess. The swamp was no stranger to merchants and travelers, but there's a reason so few tourists from the Pentarchy fill the seats surrounding the Tournament. Anyone coming through was more likely to die. If the raiders, nor the beasts, nor the Hunters killed you, then the bugs and their plagues would. A small cut would lead to infection in mere hours. The air itself could be called toxic, although that was only true in some places.

The Bayou was perfect for those evading the law, and those people would have kids there. Natural selection lead to a certain type of folk making a living. The towns were for those who were wise, the roads were for those who were smart. The swamps, the forests, the parts that no one wanted to see? That's for the brave, the foolhardy, the ones who decided death didn't mean anything to them. These parts are where the action happens. Hunters set up temporary holdouts. Those holdouts become camps. Those camps become the closest thing to home they'll get.

And when one is out in the Bayou, hunting a monster that has killed more than its fair share, that's when one becomes a Hunter. Every sound is either drowned out in the bushes, or echoes across the water for miles. Every breath could be one's last. Every step is another part of a trail someone is following. Hunters hunt monsters. Hunters hunt beasts. Hunters hunt each other. No weapon is too dangerous. No rules are enforced.

A lone man kneels in the water. His crossbow raised, just barely high enough to be usable. His pale skin covered in scars, mud, and moss. He has been hunting for a while, surviving based on his wits and intuition. He has noticed the felt dolls with button eyes, hanging by their necks from tree limbs. He didn't notice they looked like him. Each scar was carefully mapped out, the dark ink carefully placed, as if by an artist from the greatest colleges. What he didn't realize was one extra scar, tucked under the rope. A bright red gash across the esophagus. What he didn't realize was his prey was sitting right above him.

One last doll. It falls from the tree. It lands softly on the man's crossbow. It lays on its back, head tilted towards him. The gash is visible now, plain as a sunflower in a sunlit meadow. A laugh fills the air, high pitched and disorienting.

He's pushed into the water, Creford landing on him. The crossbow goes off, the bolt landing in a tree trunk. The man struggles, grasping at Creford's arm, trying to push himself back up. Creford mutters an incantation. It is part prayer, part bargain, to anyone who will listen. He raises his dagger high, the caked on blood and dirt hiding the runes underneath. In one motion he stabs into the man's throat, blood pooling up to the water's surface. Creford pulls his dagger back, twisting it in his hand and drawing the blade across the man's throat. He stops struggling, a hand coming up to try to stop the bleeding. They both know its useless.

Creford steps back, the corpse rising up to the surface. His lips curl into a smile as he pulls a doll from his pocket. A new target. He does not care who gives him the targets. He cares only that they keep coming.

A story is told, in darkened pub houses in the towns of the swamp, on the roads leading around the edges of the Bayou. If one sees the dolls, one must turn back. There is one Hunter who cannot be killed. It is not a man, nor a beast. It is a title passed down. The sewn lips, the laugh of a demon, the grace of an angel.

To go on a hunt is dangerous. To go on a hunt unprepared is suicide. To go on a hunt against him? It only leads to damnation. The death is quick. Never painless. But quick. You see his eyes, you hear his laugh. Then your soul goes to the Patron.

For to hunt the Warlock, that is the worst mistake one could make in the Bayou.

Houses of Vice

So I'm doing custom magic the gathering cards, and am looking for "houses of vice". Like... famous locations in Rock music that aren't real, but represent a vice of some sort.

So far I have Hotel California (I know there is one in mexico but I doubt they're singing about that), Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, and House of the Rising Sun. I'd prefer older songs (I know Tranquility Base is 2018, so I'd like to find something older if possible).

Epic Team Battle?

With reinforcements coming, I think Epic Team Battles might work? On like a 16x16 board (two BTB boards). I was thinking some models would be given unlimited respawns but can't hold/do objectives (grunts, jackals, marines, odsts), and then others have limited respawns but can do objectives (unnamed spartans/odsts/brutes/elites), and then named characters can do objectives but don't have respawns.

Elegoo, Creality, Anycubic - Beginner to Resin

Need help deciding between an Elegoo, Creality, or Anycubic resin printer. My experience for 3d printing has been with a Flashforge Adventurer 5M, and while it works for terrain I'd like to get into both models and smaller scale prints (15mm terrain). What printer do people recommend for a beginner to resin printing?

Did I get blessed?

So, I play warhammer every week. I typically get my butt handed to me, but I at least put up a fight. Last week I rolled absolutely terrible. Couldn't hit anything, couldn't cast spells, and so on. I'm already the bottom of our league, but that was worse than expected.

Then one tuesday this week I go to the game store to play. I park in my normal spot, and their's a penny in front of my car on the ground. I pick it up, put it in my pocket, and grab my models and go inside. I go to the game room, pay for both tables for my group (we had two games planned), and I see the "take a penny leave a penny" bucket. I drop that penny into the bucket and go on about my night.

I had an almost flawless game that night. One damage taken in combat, one model lost (because of one of my own abilities). I hit almost every attack, cast like all but one spell. My ambushers came in on round two. My opponent couldn't even make a successful charge for three rounds against one of my units.

What did I do? Should I be nervous? I'm not normally religious, maybe a little superstitious because of doing things in routines, but I'm not atheist.

Want to get back in

I used to play a lot. I played between Scarlet Keys and Drowned City (although never finished it). I played Dunwich, Carcosa, Forgotten Age, both sides of Dream Eaters, Hemlock, TCU, Scarlet Keys, and then parts of EOTE and Drowned City. I've sadly forgotten a lot of the rules. Is there a good investigator/build/campaign to learn the updated mechanics with? I heard they made a new core set, is that campaign good?

I was a fan of Charlie Kane, Kymani, Luke Robinson, Hank Samson, and Kohaku.
