Pick the best portrait from 2 RAW files and edit it (can tip)

Hey there! I got two .dng files and can't decide which shot is better, so I need a second opinion. I've included previews in this post but the full-res versions are on my Proton Drive (so Reddit doesn't mess up the uploads) - password is "ps.1"

Can you look at both and use the one with the better face/quality?

Then I just need some basic editing - it's an image made at night, adjust the lighting, make it look sharper (if possible). Nothing crazy.

Posting this as "paid" but Ill only be able throw you a tip (10€ max) if it turns out good :)

I wanted to mark as "free with tips" but that would've triggered automod.

Edit: These are night-shots. They should still look like night shots after the edit and not like they've been taken in sunset/daylight 😅

Bring Cat on a cross country vacation?

We got 3 cats: two girls and one boy. They are not technically mine, they are my grandma's.

The two girls are always fighting each other, yet they both love me very much (masculine hormones I guess). One (Mia) loves me very much and is always there as soon as I enter my grandma's home. We got her after our 5 previous cats died because of age a year before. The other girl and boy came together because we rescued them from a shelter that was closing - they are best friends and were living outside in an allotment garden with no "owner".

Now me and my grandma wanted to do a cross country trip to our "holiday apartment" (don't know how to describe it better) for a week or so. She had the idea, of bringing Mia with us, because she would then stop fighting for some time and would also still be able to see me for the time (she is a bit clingy to me).

However, I got a few concerns.

  1. She is a house cat, but used to live in an apartment before we get her at 1-2 years old. She used to climb around other people's balconies.
    I have the supposition she will do it again. What do you think?

  2. We assume the fights between the two girls to be territorial, because they always pee in specific places around the house, despite there being 5 litter boxes.
    I have the supposition this will lead to the other girl "claiming" this territory as her own and the outcome is either Mia losing her "integrity" or it continues like before after we come back with her.

What do you think?

Guide: GameSir Nova 2 Lite won't enter pairing mode for the dongle? The manual is wrong.

Sometimes, when powering the controller on, it just blinks green and it's hard to find a solution.

The manual says hold Home + D-pad left to enter pairing mode. That doesn't work - the controller just turns on.

Here's what worked for me:

  1. Turn the controller on (if not already) and remove dongle from your PC
  2. Wait 10 or more seconds
  3. Hold Home + Screenshot* until Home light flashes fast green → pairing mode
  4. Plug in the receiver - press the small button on the dongle if it doesn't blink fast on its own.
  5. Home button turns solid white → done

The slow green blink isn't an error btw. "Green = XInput" mode, which is exactly what you want for PC.

Hope this saves someone hours of frustration.
