Question regarding calorie limit calculation

Hello everyone

I started using Yazio and it gave me a calorie limit each day. It also gave me the goal to do 10'000 steps each day. But if I were to do that, I would already burn more calories a day, which has me wondering, if the app calculates your daily limit with those 10'000 steps in mind - or if I should just consider this extra.

I'm told this was a rare drop?

I'm getting back into Relink for the upcoming content update, but still hadn't caught up in a lot of things. For this, I finally beat Proto-Bahamut for the first time after a lot of trial and error.

In one of the boxes, I found "Gae Bolg" a weapon for Zeta who I mained throughout the game. My friend who was spectating me was freaking out over it, but he hasn't played in quite a while. Did I get super lucky with a rare drop or was this patched to be higher anyway? Haven't redone the fight yet.

Longer games are preferable over shorter ones

Edit: I should've clarified this applies to games max. 45 minutes. Everything after that really is a slogfest, so not super-late games.

This is probably a hot take, but from my own experience, longer games that go above the 30 minute mark, are almost always the more fun and balanced matches.

I've noticed the community doesn't like any suggestion, that could potentially prolong game time, but there are signs, that longer games are actually healthier:

- It means matchmaking did a good job, because both teams were equally good, swinging the match back and forth.

- Incremental advantages can be built up slowly and not rely on hyper tempo all or nothing plays

- Late game characters get a fair payoff for their worse early

- This is highly subjective, but winning a long game feels much better and is more satisfying then a short one. Losing a long game is less frustratring than losing to a stomp.

Deadlock really feels like the ideal game length is between 30-40 minutes. Everything above that is too long, and everything below is too short, so I really hope ttk isn't lowered any further.

The style wand is useless now?

Whatever happened to the little wand that would put your desired style into proper tags and beautify them? This was a genuinly useful tool. An "ancient egyptian orchestra" would be styled into "A driving fusion of Egyptian instruments—oud, ney, and doumbek—leads with hypnotic melodies and intricate rhythmic patterns" listing the exact instruments and "type" of music you want to make.

Now it's just inserting random tags from prior works that have no business being there. Any way to get the old wand back??

How do you figure out the taming method without looking it up?

Kind of an issue I have with "modern" ARK. All the new dinosaurs have some convoluted taming process that I would've never figured out, without looking it up. Even spyglass mods can't help, because they only show an icon.

It becomes especially frustrating when these new dinos are seamlessly integrated into the base game, together with all the "older" dinos, that can be tamed either by K.O. or hand-feeding, but the new ones don't.

Are you supposed to find the notes for all these?

"On Heal" Items availability

With Horus' release, I'm looking to get back into the game. I remember Smite 1 having several healing-related items, such as lotus crown.

When I looked into the Smite 2 item store, I had trouble finding these items. The only 2 items that I found were Daybreak Gavel, which is more of a selfish item and vital amplifier, which needs quick healing in short bursts. Horus has none of that, so what about about traditional support healing items, that amplify healing in some way when supporting?

Unfortunately, I couldn't search for all "on heal" tagged items, so is that really all there is?

First time player, I love this game

I just defeated Trokka yesterday, so I'd say I'm fairly advanced into the game already and I had a blast so far. (no spoilers from here on pls).

Putting my appreciation here for how good the game feels. Most soulslikes I've played either make dodging or parrying their main mechanic, but in Khazan, you can reasonibly do both to equal benefit, depending on your build.

Also the bosses I've faced so far have been super diverse and required different playstyles and strategies to figure out. This "problem solving" puzzle of bosses keeps the game fresh and interesting.

Trokka especially felt so different from the previous bosses. I recognised this as a boss, where spacing is important, almost like it were a fighting game (and that's a good thing). So I'll be excited to see what's to come 😄

For those interested, I play on Expert with no reflection and do not watch any guides on Youtube. I have a friend who spectates me, who already finished the game. He occasionally comments on stuff, but otherwise I'm playing blind.

Why was Austria's entry recieved so poorly?

I was sick during the weekend and couldn't stay up to watch the eurovision, so I watched a livestream a few days later.

Austria's entry was the only one that I genuinly found funny and you'd think they get at least some points for their german-esque dry bureaucratic humor, but nope. 6 Points.
Got me laughing like Bara Bada Bastu and Espresso Macchiato from last year but unlike those humorous entries, it ended among the lowest in the contest.

What gives me Movement speed here?

I noticed that at some point, I was zooming around the map. Then this icon here swings between +4 - 4.5m/s bonus movespeed and I'm wondering where that's coming from. The icon seems to be slowing bullets, which I upgraded into Weighted Shots already, so I didn't have that item anymore.

Age verification bug?

Hey all, I wanted to join you on Bsky and created an account.

On registration, I filled out the required information, including my birth date.

Then it said due to age verification, I needed to add my birth date below. But when I pressed the button to add the birth date, it said that you can only change your birth date every 1-2 days.

Whaaat?? First of all, I just added the birth date on creation, why would it ask me that again? And what kind of verification is that anyway to just add a birthday?

Hello, I've supported Predecessor back in early access almost two years ago and was looking to get back into it.

With many new heroes available, I would love to try them in some sort of testing area, sometimes called "Practice Mode" in other games. (Or Jungle Practice if you know Smite). Does this mode not exist yet? I can't find any kind of mode selection, just the play button on the top left.
