What's something you believed about adulthood as a kid that turned out to be completely wrong once you got there?
reddit.comConfused about cross-posting rules + how do I get more visibility for my sub?
Hey everyone,
I run my own subreddit and I've been trying to grow it. Recently I crossposted some of my own posts from other communities into my sub, and they got removed. Is crossposting your own content not allowed? I'm a bit confused about the rules here.
My bigger struggle is visibility. I've posted 3 times now and each post is getting fewer than 20 views — basically no visitors at all.
For experienced mods: how did you get your subreddit off the ground? What actually works for getting eyes on a new community? Any advice on growing from zero would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
How do you handle a kid using a phone too much?
I didn’t realize how much my kid was using their phone until I checked the screen time report…
I honestly thought I had a decent handle on it.
But then I saw the weekly screen time breakdown and it was way higher than I expected.
What surprised me more was when it was happening… not just after school, but late at night too.
I’m not sure if I should be more strict or just talk it through with them.
How do you guys usually handle this?
