I'm still not sure if a manual toothbrush or one of these electric ones is better!

The internet, theory, and everything else makes it clear to me that electric toothbrushes, both sonic and those with pivoting heads, like these latest modern Oral-B IO series, are better than manual ones... BUT.

The feeling of cleanliness with a manual toothbrush versus an electric one is significant. I don't notice that my teeth are clean with the mechanical one.

I don't notice any visual improvement. I don't notice that they're any better than before.

I'm someone who brushes my teeth 2-3 times a day and always uses mouthwash afterward.

Has POCO become the new OnePlus?

Hi.

The other day I was looking at prices and saw that the POCO F8 Ultra is around €800, and it's not even a brand new phone. At this rate, it seems almost inevitable that when the F9 comes out, we'll be looking at prices approaching €1,000. This got me wondering if POCO isn't following the exact same path as OnePlus: starting as the undisputed king of value for money only to end up becoming what it promised to compete against.

It's true that the comparison has its nuances. OnePlus raised the price of its only phone year after year, leaving those looking for something cheap without an option. POCO, on the other hand, has preferred to fragment the F series into three tiers (standard, Pro, and Ultra). In practice, the standard F still hovers around €400, offering plenty of raw power, but by introducing an €800 model with a telephoto lens, IP68 water and dust resistance, and premium materials, the perception of the brand changes completely.

And that's where my doubts arise. Does it make sense to spend €800 or €900 on a POCO? At those prices, you're directly competing with Samsung's Galaxy phones, iPhones, and Pixels. Considering how quickly phones depreciate in 2-3 years and the software issues with HyperOS, I'm not sure the "POCO" label fits that price range.

Do you think they've lost their essence like OnePlus did, or does the formula still work as long as they keep selling the base version for €400?

Where is my battery? - Poco F6 Pro.

I'm having battery problems with my F6 Pro.

I have the 16GB/1TB model, purchased in the summer of 2024.

This has been happening for months. I ignore it and don't think much of it. I've accepted that I need to charge it more than once a day, but it's starting to get annoying. The battery doesn't last, or struggles to last, 12 hours. Not 12 hours with the screen on, but 12 hours from the last full charge. This is even with battery saver mode enabled (I usually use this option). Of course, NFC is disabled, and I only occasionally turn on Bluetooth.

It's worth noting that I've configured the phone to charge at a lower speed than 120W. It only charges at a very high speed at the beginning. In charge protection mode, it's set to smart charging. I always charge it with the original cable. The screen is set to automatic brightness and 90Hz.

Are there any tricks to going fast in Wreckfest?

Hey everyone!

We all know the Wreckfest meta. If you want to guarantee top lap times, you run the Super Venom or the Hammerhead RS (HHRS). That’s a given. However, lately I've been noticing a phenomenon that just doesn't add up, and I want to understand it. It’s not super common, but I do see it happening, and usually, it's the server admin/host doing it.

I keep running into drivers who pick theoretically mediocre cars (like the Bugzilla or the Razor) or, even worse, the school bus, and manage to set lap times that are brutally fast.

Let me clarify. I completely understand the skill gap. I know that between two players driving a Raiden RS, there can easily be a 2 to 3-second difference due to racing lines and tuning. But what I'm seeing here is something else entirely. I’ve literally watched school buses get traction and move with an agility that completely defies the game's physics, outperforming well-tuned actual race cars.

How do you explain this? Is there some hidden mechanic, extreme tune, or server-side setting that I'm missing here?

I feel like Gemini is really bad right now, but that's not my problem

Hi!

-First, I want to point out that I have pro+5tb in drive for Gemini and its extended usage plans.

-Second, my usage is relatively basic. I use it for image creation, everyday tasks, personal style advice, some light personal therapy, simple calculations...

-Third, I usually use it in extended mode with a saved prompt to avoid glitches and errors (although it's practically useless).

I find the Gemini Pro 3.1 unreliable. Predictable and buggy. I really don't know what to do to fix it. As I mentioned, I set a saved prompt, but I tend to find it completely ineffective. I also don't think the memory is working properly. It tends to lose information quickly.

The performance graphs don't reflect my experience after using this model every day.

The issue is that it very frequently tells me that "it cannot currently perform web searches." I feel like this message is more frequent with the 3.1 Pro than with the 3.5 Flash. Also, I feel like the 3.5 Flash is less unreliable, less prone to flashing, and somewhat more accurate.

I really don't know what to do. Should I wait to see if it improves? Should I change models?

Which AI is best for this use?

Hi!

I'm torn between the three main AIs.

The use wouldn't simply be what you'd call "daily use." It goes beyond that. It would be for more psychologically oriented questions. Case tracking and, above all, the ability to be critical and understand. It's not enough for it to simply agree with me. I want it to preserve the data and be critical.

Of course, for this use, the ideal would be to maximize the performance of each AI. That is, to maximize its thinking capabilities. Among Claude, Gemini, and Gpt

Which row looks best on me?

Which row suits me better? The top or the bottom? They're two different facial hair styles.

I'm straight. Just so you know. I'd appreciate votes from young women.

Which stabilizer is worth buying now?

Hi!

I need a stabilizer for cameras like the A7IV, S5iix, and GH7, and I was considering one from this brand. I'd like one that will last for years. I use it 3-4 times a month.

I've seen that models like the Weebil 3s have been on the market for a few years, and other brands have released more interesting AI-tracking models.

Should I wait, or should I buy one now?

Buy now or wait? Seestar models

I'm torn between buying one now or waiting a bit and opting for a better model.

I currently have the P1000, and it's incredible for moon and bird photography. I'd like an all-in-one tool, something more optimized for getting there, doing my thing, and leaving. Space, planets, sun, moon, nebulae, galaxies...

I'm debating whether to go for the Seestar S30 Pro, S50, Dwarf 3, or wait until they release something more powerful.
