Weird question about safety of foods in general
How safe is it to eat at places like fast food restaurants. I'm immunocompromised but really love subway. Just been avoiding it because you know deli meat and leafy greens are meant to be like avoided during pregnancy and old age due to listeria and ecoli risk. How unsafe is it really to eat deli meat? Would getting it toasted help? It seem whenever there's a recall at my supermarkets it's a pre packed sandwich with salad in it. Or salad leaves. Why is that? And where is the safest place to purchase said foods? A farm?
