So I'm based in the US, and thinking about doing the OXP3 pledge on Indiegogo.

What's the best payment option - Direct Credit Card or Google Pay via Credit Card ?

I'm 100% aware there's going to be a 9% cancellation fee regardless, but thinking long term like if anything happens and we need to file a claim/etc.

What's the consensus best option around here ? Or is there zero difference ?

Kinda confused, does the most popular Indiegogo pledge (the one costing 13,320.00) with the most pledges, does it come with the keyboard ? It shows 4 included bonus items like the bag, backpack, film, but nowhere does it mention keyboard.

But all the preview videos seem to imply its included ? Does anyone know for sure ?

Saw from the reviews of the Apex that while the speakers are decent, they are downward firing and may even have a bit of distortion on the higher frequencies especially on max volume.

From everything we've seen, the OXP3 will repeat this same speaker design. Is anyone worried this pretty much ruins the handheld for them especially compared to the speakers on the MSI Claw EX which might have the best speakers in the game ?

I bet most of these handheld makers are just laughing behind our backs that us (playfully speaking) idiots are so willing to gobble up each small iteration of a handheld they make, only for them to release a slightly better version and then the cycle repeats. It's basically free cash for them and prices are only going up more with ram/ssd situation.

However how long do you think this will last before we end up into a more mature market situation like cell phones and tvs where because the tech is so mature, it becomes extremely iterative and folks won't just blindly spend on the next piece of shiny tech without a second of thought?

My bet is not until at least another 3-4 architectural generations. Where the gpu can eat 1080p max settings with all ray tracing/path tracing turned without even breaking a sweat and maxing out the fps on the screen of 120fps+.

I don't think any chip on the market not even the 395 Ai max can hit that and look at he crazy battery pack and ac adapter monstrosity compromises you need to make to fit that on a "handheld". So I feel we're at least a few huge breakthroughs in mobile computing power away from hitting a diminishing return situation.

But what are your guys thoughts?

Already own the LeGo2 and placed an preorder for a MSI Claw EX.

But it had me thinking, would the Claw be a downgrade in other aspects such as speakers and rumble ?

I already know the G3 chip in the Claw EX will be comfortably more powerful than the Z2E in the LeGo2. And the screen of course will be 8 inch LCD vs 8.8 OLED. But how about the speakers and rumble on the MSI Claw, how do those compare ?

If i had to be honest, the LeGo2 speakers get plenty loud but lack a great sound stage / treble clarity at times and the rumble is decent but nothing amazing. So its not a high bar to clear but still curious to hear other folks thoughts.

So theres currently a promotion if you order $50 or more twice by June 20th, you get $10 back in Rewards. I just made my second purchase of over $50 now (June 19th at 10PM EST), but its not slated to ship until this Wed, June 24th.

According to the fine print, Target.com orders are eligible if the order is PLACED by the deadline. So by this token, my purchase should be eligible. But can anyone confirm if this will work out ok ?

So Im interested in buying the upcoming X2 Mini Pro with the 8.8 Inch OLED screen + 388 AI Max chip. I would be buying with a credit card (if possible).

What is the best option for a buyer in the US, in terms of warranty and buyer peace of mind in case anything goes wrong with the device ? Are there any options that allow refunds ?

I understand the Indiegogo campaign just launched yesterday on the 15th and its slated to ship by July ? Is this the best option to buy for now ?

Or is it better to wait for it to be available from a seller on Amazon or eBay ? From what I understand the APEX was available from those channels a few weeks or months after the initial launch on Indiegogo. Does buying from these places offer better buyer protection ?

So just some random thoughts after seeing what has been a very busy week of handheld product announcements.

Why does Asus seem so content to stick with either antiquated hardware or specs on their handhelds ? The newly announced XAX20 finally moves them to OLED but at a puny.. 7.4 inches when even the Switch2 has moved onto 8, not to mention LeGo2 at 8.8 ? Plus still using the clearly tired and old Z2E chips that have been out for over 2+ years at this point ?

Why not go with the Intel G3 Extreme or cramming the monster Strix Halo, price and ergonomics be damned ?

Asus seems to be at the cutting edge with everything else tech wise, including laptops and GPUs. But for whatever reason, they like to take it VERY slowly with their handhelds, and this was apparent when they stuck with the same obsolete 7inch IPS screen for the Xbox Ally.

This literally will make or break the purchasing decision for me because everything else about this new Intel G3 handheld hits the mark for me.

I had the OG MSI Claw for a while and damn the rumble was about as good as one of those 10 dollar china phones. The motor felt that cheap and crude.

Has there been any word if that has been improved for this upcoming revision ?

So AMEX has a deal for 125 statement credit off 1250+ purchase and if I stack this with the EDU discount for 1619, it comes out to around 1495 pre tax.

Is this a good deal for the headset or has there been/will there be better deals down the horizon ?

Also is there anything better from other manufactuers that will be coming out within the next 6-12 months ? If so, I'm fine with waiting.

As title stated, purchased for pickup Legends Z-A, using a gamestop giftcard + my $5 monthly pro coupon. This was at 8AM, and now its nearly 24 hours later and I still haven't recieved a pickup confirmation email.

What's the likelihood the store is simply out of stock and Gamestop is just rage baiting me ? Interestingly it still shows as "limited stock" at the location I selected for pickup so it theoritically "SHOULDN"T be out of stock yet.

Also, if I do cancel will I get back both my gift card balance returned and my $5 dollar pro coupon ?

So the first 2 weeks with the Razer Joro were awesome. Pleasure to type on and worked really nicely. Then about a week ago, the keyboard MAGICALLY started refusing to charge. At first I thought it was odd because it would shut off and start complaining about low battery, but maybe I had the RGB on too bright..maybe?

Then I've tried multiple different USBC cables and chargers, and on all of them I would get one of 2 behaviors. In synapse, the battery indicator would either show 1% and charging... but be STUCK there for hours.. or it jumps straight to 100%.

I kid you not I've left the keyboard plugged in for HOURS. But the moment I disconnect the charging cable while in BT mode, the keyboard shuts off entirely which to me means it hasn't been charging ALL this time.

Has anyone encountered this before ? I've already updated the keyboard firmware to the latest 1.02.02 - and also using the latest Synapse 4.0.86.

Very dissapointing, luckily Im still within 30 day return period so I've requested a replacement. Hopefully I have just a one-off lemon on my hands.

It's my first Razer product ever, and I'll give them the benefit of doubt for now, but this is not leaving a good first impressions on me. But I'll be thinking twice before buying a $4000+ Razer Blade 16 laptop from this same company ...

Applied in Mid Feb for Fall 2026 MSCS program and still haven't heard back yet. Way over 10 weeks now. And I know lots of decisions have went out already, so not looking promising but curious if others are in the same boat ?
