Why do men act like we are not top priority until we want to leave?

My husband will act like I am his maid and his mother even though we have 2 kids (ages 2 and 9 months) and for the last year and a half we have had the same repeat conversation that always turns into an argument about him helping me.

When he is gone for work I have zero issues taking care of everything but when he is home all he wants to do is be in the bathroom for a minimum of 20 minutes watching tiktok and then sits on the couch back on his phone. Our toddler has basically given up on trying to play with him because he will not get off of his phone or he will for a few minutes then get right back on it.

I have to tell him where to put his dirty laundry, where our kids diapers/formula is at even though it has been in the same spot for 4 months, remind him to wash his bowl after I finished washing all the other dishes.

But as soon as I mention how I need more help I need more 50/50 it turns into an argument where he is quick to say "sorry I am such a POS husband/father" or tell me to "go find a new job (I work part-time) that will pay our bills and rent" and also ALWAYS mentions if i want a divorce OR if i am talking to someone else. Anytime he asks that I always offer my phone and tell him no I am not talking to someone else and he can check for himself.

Then he goes on to tell me he will do better and he will be more involved with us and actually play and help me around the house. It'll change for a little bit but then go right back to how it was. But why does he act like we don't matter until I begin to put my foot down and express how I feel? Then all of the sudden we are everything to him and he never wants to lose us and he wants to help me and play with our kids.

I need KU recs ASAP

I have read Haunting/Hunting Adeline

The ritual series

Lights out

Does it hurt yet

Credence

Glitch series

BUT I need something MORE I only have Kindle Unlimited but I need something despite trigger warnings - the more "wtf did I just read?" The better (depending on what it is obviously) i love the CNC, Breath play, kidnapping, BDSM. I need something intense like that.

The haunting/hunting Adeline were SO GOOD imo and I feel like nothing has really compared since! So please give me all your KU recs and thank you in advance!!

My order running late

I had ordered some groceries (nothing major) but it was supposed to get here between 1:30-3:04. It still has not arrived but now says it may not get here until 4:23, how long can it take before something happens?

It isn't anything that I desperately need but it does have baby teether snacks in it for my baby along with some snacks for her and things that need to be refrigerated.

I don't want to be that person and complain but I have never had an order get pushed back this much so I am just not too sure on the process!

Thanks in advance!

I want to do something but don't know how to start it.

I have cake frosting and chocolate syrup and I was thinking of using it on my n!ps or something to surprise my husband with something new and fun.

I am 7 months pp and starting to finally feel like myself but I have NEVER done something like this before so I don't even know how I would start something like this. He is also a very hairy man so I am not sure if that stuff would mix well with his body hair 😂

I am not the type to take charge and it is something my husband does but I want to switch it up and take charge with it but it also makes me nervous just thinking about being the one to initiate something new

Any tips and tricks would be awesome, thank you!

My 2 year old pulls her hair out

My daughter (2 in 12 days) has been pulling her hair on and off since she was about 16/17 months old. At first I thoughts maybe it was because i was about ready to have her sister and the stress of a changing environment but then it didn't completely stop.

It got to a point where the whole front half of her head was so thin you could see her scalp but it was never bald bald. She slowed down/stopped for awhile but then started back up recently but only in one area. We also recently moved to another state so I don't know if the change in that has triggered something for her. I took her today to get her first ever hair cut and this way it is not so long and easy to grab but still at a cute shoulder length. As soon as we got out of the car I noticed she had a band of hair wrapped around her finger.

She will also grab her hair and then suck on her thumb with her hair in her mouth, it originally started as her twirling her hair, and now we do all of it. She will also pick at her skin sometimes but thankfully never breaks any skin and sometimes I see her lightly pull on her eyelashes. I do have a suspicious hunch that she may be a little bit on the spectrum and I did read that hair pulling is common amoung girls on the spectrum.

I did bring up the hair pulling to a pediatrician and she said to just keep her hands busy and maybe she will grow out of it. I feel like i try EVERYTHING, redirecting, saying "no we don't do that", fidget toys, putting her hair in braids, buns, pony tails, but she will still undo it just to pull or have it in her mouth.

I have read that it can be a stress response and it makes me feel so guilty because I genuinely do not know how to help her as a mom, I never want her to hurt herself because she is so stressed but I just don't know what to do to get her to stop. I am not asking for medical advice but I am asking for tips/tricks that have worked for you and yours.

Thank you in advance and sorry for the long post..

Stolen wedding ring

Someone had stolen my wedding ring and I have already called pawn shops (left voicemails), jewelry stores, and Facebook marketplace but my SIL mentioned maybe Ebay.

Is there a way I can get ahold of ebay to see if they could flag the rings report number since it is a certified diamond?

I just recently moved to a city and on days my husband is working i am home with our two kids all day so i feel like having one would just be like a peace of mind thing.

But here is my issue, some of them are wired, battery, or wireless?? We just have a regular apartment door so I don't know how we would do wired or even wireless because how would it charge?

I also see some brands are like 70-100 dollars but then there are some at Walmart for 10 dollars but says the same thing as the expensive ones. There is also so many different brands and I don't know which one is the best one to go with.

What would be the best brand to go with but also how does the recording/storage work??

I think my 2 year old may be on the spectrum

For awhile she has spun in circles, with her head tilted to one side while side eyeing you. Lately she has added raising her arms and flopping her hands while she does it. She will also plug her ears and go "lalalalala" while doing that.

When it is nap time or bedtime her blankets HAVE to be in a certain order otherwise she will get up and correct it before she falls asleep. She is very peculiar on when she wants to he touched and by who, sometimes she is hugging me and giving me little kisses but as soon as her dad grabs her she is SCREAMING. Other times she only wants him to hold her and if I try she freaks out.

I know she is still so young and obviously it doesn't matter to us if she is or isn't but I want to be able to teach her things and be able to comfort her and communicate with her in the best way possible that she can understand.

I recently talked to someone with ABA Therapy (not even sure what that means tbh) and I was told 2 may be too soon to do an evaluation but others say it's not??

My daughter is 6 months and we have been cosleeping since literally day 1. I follow all the safe stuff, never drinking, making sure there there is no way she can roll off the bed, no thick blankets, etc. But I am EXHAUSTED. I feel like i haven't actually slept since before I had her. She is getting out of BF (i do not make enough), so we do formula but she will still BF for comfort to fall asleep during the nights.

We usually wake up around 7:30/8am and she won't take a nap till after 12 (unless she is super fussy from teething), her wake windows differ depending on what our day looks like but if i am holding her she will sleep for an hour or so but if i try laying her down she sleeps for 10 minutes. I am really wanting to get her sleep trained but hate doing the CIO method

How can I start transitioning her into her crib?? I just set it up today so its all ready but I just know she will scream and cry if I set her down once she falls asleep in my arms, I miss cuddling with my husband at night too.

I am not asking for medical advice or anything like that i am just asking for tips/tricks to help me get her used to sleeping alone. I know it'll be a hard thing but I need to actually sleep lol!

We just recently moved here and have nothing to our names and I want to do something that is free but also toddler friendly and fun!

My toddler would be walking while I push the stroller so definitely something that is easily accessible with a stroller would be great!

TIA!
