Might join a new job but...
I have a job offer, not confirmed but idk if I'd be able to meditate properly.

Hi I'm a copywriter. Been working for 3.5 years.
I have worked with Amazon and many D2C brands so far.
But my best project was, helping a street vendor by creating a poster for him.
He got 44 sales because of my poster.
My question is, why don't I feel the same satisfaction while working with a brand?
I know 44 sales and a company making revenue isn't the same but why can't I feel the same dedication for a company?
Creative freedom? Hierarchy?
How to deal with this?
We booked a cafe and invited 14 strangers.
You see, Bangalore has no shortage of places to meet people.
There are dating events. Networking events. Pub nights. Social mixers. Board Games.
But sometimes you don't want to date/network.
You don't necessarily want to drink with them either.
You just want to meet some new people, do something fun, and maybe leave with a couple of people you'd actually hang out with again.
That's what we wanted to test.
Most of them didn't know each other.
We had some games, food, a little jamming session, and enough time for people to actually talk.
People talked, laughed, played, ate, exchanged numbers and somehow left as slightly less-strangers.
We're building Orchy around this problem, helping people find the right people to do things with, without everything having to become a date, a networking opportunity or a night at a pub.
This was our first meetup, hopefully we'll do our next one this week.
If you showed up from reddit, thank you for your support!

Yo, so I saw this movie - vishwanath and sons.
Reviews are good.
I don't have work today. Thought I could go for the 7:40 PM show today.
It's in Lido Mall - Ulsoor.
Does anybody want to join??
Nothing wrong with going alone but it'll be fun if I've someone to go with.
Lmk if you wanna tag along, we'll book tickets together.
Making friends in Bangalore is hard. Especially when you are an adult.
Everyone's busy, exhausted, and stuck in traffic.
You keep saying “let's catch up sometime,” and somehow it never happens.
So I thought, why not just create the thing I'm looking for?
I'm hosting a small meetup this Sunday for people from Bangalore who want to meet new people, hang out, and hopefully make a few friends.
Come alone or bring a friend. No networking, no agenda — just a bunch of strangers seeing if we get along.
If you're interested, DM me, and I'll share the details.

A couple of weeks ago, I told my girlfriend: “I've been feeling like I need to meet new people.”
She said, “Okay? Are you breaking up with me? Am I not enough for you?”
Then I told her I was going to spend my Sunday evening with a bunch of strangers.
She went silent.
“Strangers?”
“Yes.”
“But why?”
“To make new friends.”
That somehow made it worse.
Bangalore has this weird problem where you can be surrounded by people all the time and still feel lonely and struggle to make actual friends.
Everyone is either working, exhausted, stuck in traffic, or saying “let's catch up soon”.
So I thought, fuck it. I'll create the thing I'm looking for.
I asked my female friend to book a venue and invite a bunch of strangers from Reddit without my girlfriend's knowledge to meet this Sunday, 16 August, from 6–8 PM.
She is bringing her friends, and I am bringing mine.
6:00 — Check-in + welcome
6:15 — Icebreakers
6:30 — Social activities
7:15 — Jamming + food
7:45 — Free socialising + group photo. The venue is already booked.
There's just one tiny problem: We're currently at 7 guys and 3 girls.
I'm keeping the ratio reasonably balanced, so hoping the gender ratio is much more balanced.
The venue is in Koramangala, near Indiranagar. The cafe looked so cozy, so I booked it without a second thought.
Both men and women are welcome; it's ₹250 per person.
This isn't a dating event, just an event to meet new friends.
Also, my girlfriend doesn't exist; I made it up for dramatic effect. This is genuinely just about meeting new people, making friends, and having a good Sunday evening.
If you're in Bangalore and want to meet some new people, Dm the account below and I'll send you the details.

Been a local but still haven't found much friend to explore, I live near chatram bus stand. Any suggestions?
Lost my job in Feb 2026 as an in-house copywriter, and I’ve been struggling to find something stable since then :(
I’ve got solid experience, and was even ranked among the top copywriters in India by Favikon. But most roles I’ve come across expect 70–80 hour work weeks (including weekends), which just isn’t sustainable for me.
Also, the 2-hour daily commute in Bangalore was a big reason I burned out and quit my last role.
Right now, I’m looking for something that’s meaningful, pays fairly, and doesn’t destroy my mental health.
If you know of any opportunities (remote or Bangalore-based with sane work culture), please DM me. Would really appreciate it 🙏
Thanks!
Came to visit a temple but the roads are so bad, genuinely curious why
I am interested in doing STP but right now, I don't have a job and my business isn't growing that well.
I feel going there feels like an escape so.. I am not 100% sure.
What should I do?
Hosting a meetup to touch some grass this Sunday.
Because touching grass is essential and it's free.
Date: 2nd August, 2026.

I am 25M, I recently quit my Copywriting job because it wasn't paying me well or even having the job satisfaction as I used to.
My colleagues are getting better pay and I thought why not go all in on copywriting?
It's been 6 months and still no luck.
The only people who believe in me are my family (mom and dad) who ask me to drop this whole startup and just focus on getting another job.
I know in this economy, a job won't save you anything, having the right skills is everything.
I'm learning linkedin personal branding so that I can write for C suite founders and I just finished it today.
My main pain is I don't have anyone to share any wins with.
Sad but I'm sure I'll overcome it once I'm rich.
I don't want to be super rich, I want to be rich enough to take care of my parents and help kids in need with whatever I earn.
That's all.
I'm planning a copywriter meetup. Anyone who's a copywriter or into copywriting.
I'm 25M, been a year in blr. Can't really make friends.
From traffic to even meeting new people, I can't make deep friends at all. I usually just bury myself at work or watch some useless series.
Am I the only one feeling like this?
I'm gonna play pickleball tomorrow, anybody wanna join?
Near indiranagar, around 6-8 PM
