Which games have the best Wiki's of all time?

It seems widely accepted that OSRS has the best wiki, are there any wiki's that come anywhere close to the level of it?

(OSRS = Old School Runescape)

Eye Exams In Northern Fredericton?

I plan on getting some new glasses and will need an eye exam as it's been over a 10 years since my last one. I've only got about a $250 total budget for the exam and glasses and plan on heading over to the north side for one next weekend if possible.

Questions:

  1. Where's a good place for a cheap eye exam? I heard they can range from $80-130 in Fredericton? Hoping to find one for a good price where I can get my prescription.

  2. What are the best places for getting the glasses with a good cost-to-quality ratio, afraid of overly cheap or fragile frames/lenses but also gotta watch my budget.

"Better Than Bouillon" With Rice?

I plan on making some chicken rice in the rice cooker, and i'm wondering if anyone has experience using "Better than Bouillon" in higher concentrations with rice, especially if made in the rice cooker? Wondering how much per rice or water weight you guys would recommend, I assume a more concentrated broth (more than 1tsp per cup of water) is the way to go?

[PC] Just built a new computer and i'm looking for new games to play.

I've been stuck on an old constantly overheating "gaming" laptop since 2017 but then it broke 4 months ago which left me without a gaming pc and now I finally built myself a new computer (ryzen 9600x/16gb ddr5/rx7700xt) this week and i'm trying to find some new games to play.

Hoping people could give me some suggestions based on what I have listed below, ideally ones that are free or pretty cheap. I'm not a fan of moba's, most tab targeting mmorpg's, and cod/bf/cs type shooters with near instant kills.

Current Games:
• World of Tanks (main game before laptop broke)
• Old School Runescape (nobody ever quits, waiting for content)
• Runescape: Dragonwilds (playing with friend)
• Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel (waiting for tellarknights in upcoming pack)
• Path of Exile 2 (waiting for new league, old laptop throttled hard in first league of poe2)
• Final Fantasy 14 (playing with my bro)
• Anno 1800 (waiting for anno 117 sale but i'm occasionally playing this)

Old Games (played a lot in the past but stopped naturally):
• Armored Core 6
• Starcraft Broodwar
• Path of Exile 1
• Hearthstone
• Darkfall Online / Rise of Agon
• Diablo 2

Old Games (loved them for a time but then lost all interest in playing for reasons):
• Marvel Rivals (2025, s0/s1)
• Overwatch 1 (2020-2022)
• New World (first year)
• Ace Online (game was dead when i found it in mid 2010's, no alternatives)
• Knight Online (pre-2010)
• Smite 1 (played it a few months in mid-late 2010's)

Disliked Games:
• Deadlock
• Counter Strike
• Battlefield 4
• Star Citizen
• Runescape 3
• World of Warcraft
• Silkroad Online

I cannot use many different file types on windows? (vids/images/docs/etc)

Images:
https://imgur.com/a/8oowTqN

Since early this morning there have been several file types that I can no longer open (images/vids/docs/etc) and I cannot even ctrl+shift+i for screenshots anymore. I tried a few options suggested by AI without any luck (index and repair/reinstall windows that keeps files, reset default apps, etc) and i'm out of ideas. One thing i've noticed is that if I open paint and drag and drop an image into the window i can open it, but I cannot double click the file to open it.

What's a good light to use for this renovated bedroom where I must plug it into the wall?

I've been searching on Amazon Canada and Aliexpress for ceiling or wall mounted lights (that have a cord to plugin to the wall socket) without finding something good. Would anyone be able to help me with a good lighting suggestion for this room that plugs into the wall?

There are two sockets in the bedroom, one near the bottom right of the window and one on the right wall behind the desk. The desk is usually up against the wall near the window/plug with the bed towards the right of where I was standing.

How Important Is Having More Than 8GB VRAM?

I'm going to be purchasing the internals (9600x/b650/16gb-ddr5/gpu) of my new "budget" gaming pc build next week and i'm curious how important it actually is to have more than 8gb of VRAM in a graphic card?

I'm looking at the RTX 5060 8GB ($560cad after tax) and the Arc B580 12GB ($425cad after tax) and I see a lot of complaining about new cards only having 8gb in 2025-2026. I have concerns about the 8gb vram of the rtx, but also concerns about the arc's future driver support and using it unity.

I'll grab an RTX if it's on sale but without any sales/stock then the Arc B580 looks promising with its price tag even though i have some concerns for it.

Are there any shops that sell tea by the sachet or by weight?

I grew up as someone who didn't explore much beyond your cheap king cole tea bags, and now lately i've been interested in trying different flavors of tea and haven't tried too many yet.

.

Are there any shops that sell quality individual tea sachets or loose leaf tea by weight? Somewhere I can go with like $20 and get at least 20 different flavors of tea to bring home.

What's the best wand/rod type of toy that I can buy on amazon?

So many cheap sketchy wands online that it's hard to find a good one, i'm considering just buying a cheap actual fishing rod and using string.

Looking on amazon canada.

Has anyone else encountered a dust devil today? (mini-tornado)

I wish fishing at Killarney Lake a few hours ago and had a big 30-50ft tall dust devil form right next to me on the trail by the little bridge that lasted like 30 seconds. Wondering if anyone else has experienced one of them today in the Fredericton area.

Haven't built a pc in 10 years and i'm wondering about non-modular power supply cable management in modern cases.

When I look at most cases these days I notice that the bottom has an enclosed area instead of being wide open like older cases, I was going to buy a corsair modular psu after getting paid today but the sale ended and now only the non-modular version is available.

Does the concern over spare cables getting in the way get resolved by that enclosed area at the bottom of cases? Also i'm wondering how ill fit old 3.5 and 2.5 sata harddrives in a case like this one since they don't seem to have slots for it.

Case: Montech Sky Two GX, E-ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU: CORSAIR CX Series CX750 80 PLUS Bronze ATX Power Supply

What's the best way to clean a bike chain covered with sawdust without an outdoor hose or anything to spray it?

I'm thinking soaking in a bucket of water and dish soap and then rinse before applying chain lubricant, not sure if thats a wise idea.

RTX 5050 vs Arc B580?

I plan on building a desktop pc with these parts in a couple weeks (if the sales still exist) or an equivalent computer. I am primarily concerned about the graphic card choice as this setup already puts me at my budget limit, anyone able to help me decide on which GPU I should go with?

I am a gamer who cares about performance above graphics quality and don't usually play extremely demanding games that often anyways (Marvel Rivals, Armored Core 6, Anno 117, PoE2, World of Tanks, Etc) and I probably won't upgrade the card for 4-5 years. I might start learning Unity game development in the future for side projects and smoother development for loading up low-mid poly games may be helpful.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X (Combo $779)
Mobo: MSI PRO B850-S WIFI6E AM5 (Combo $779)
RAM: G.SKILL Flare X5 Series AMD EXPO 32GB (Combo $779)
GPU: Zotac RTX 5050 ($379) / Acer Arc B580 ($369)
PSU: CORSAIR CX650M (2025) Semi Modular ATX

I've read the manga a couple years ago and i've always been following the anime. I am considering starting the light novel at around where the anime/manga have progressed and im wondering how faithful the story has been to know if there's any important information added/removed.

I am afraid that the motherboard might have been fried in some manner on my laptop and i've been afraid of the repair costs. When the power cord is plugged in (even if i have the battery/ram/ssd removed) i can hear a faint ticking or clicking sound somewhere in the area of the red circle. When it broke I was using my laptop and it just instantly died without turning back on, and whenever i try to use the power button it does absolutely nothing (no lights or sounds).

Anyone have an idea on what type of issue I may be having? I have low expectations where I may just sell the ram for like $50, remove the hdd's, and give it away for parts or something before buying a new pc.
