Josue Bricano

If (big if, probably) the Tigers decide to make a playoff run this year, I could see them calling up Bricano. Torkelson has a .798 OPS vs LHP and barely .700 vs RHP. Bricano is hitting HRs often at AA. He’s healthy again. His OPS for the last 28 days is .995. 1.215 this week.

It likely won’t happen, but I’m hoping it does.

And in the NHL Expansion plan that seems to be happening, it seems that Houston and Atlanta are up for the next two slots

Apparently if approved, they probably would start around 2029.

After doing my latest episode…

Man, the Tigers offense has been red hot thus far, except Matt Vierling. Even Spencer Torkelson, Zach McKinstry, and James Outman (.300 average and .964 OPS in his last 7 games) have been red hot at the plate thus far! The Tigers just need to shape up their bullpen and see what happens with Jackson Jobe and Reese Olson.

Critical thinking

Okay, so I thought this one over. The Tigers had to trade two super-expensive expiring contracts (Skubal and Mize) for 5 prospects, which I understand. However, at the same they didn’t address their bullpen or their rest of their offense, which includes Torkelson, McKinstry, Vierling, and Outman, which is completely lazy.

Possibly the worst trade of 2026

Tigers giving up their best pitcher in exchange for poor prospects not to mention it’s from The Dodgers. And the funny part, this trade would never happen on MLB The Show because they’ll tell you to fuck off! And to the individual that came up with this trade congratulations not only you sink the World Series chances for the Tigers but you may have doomed the whole league into a potential strike! God help us!
