Should i choose IGNOU BCA???

there's no offline BCA College here in my area so I have to go for online BCA.

I see IGNOU as the most affordable option for online BCA. I have also read a many bad reviews about assignments markings, term exam poor marking, delayed results, no help, late reply during course.

Despite all of these the cost is low while the cost of private online BCA is twice thrice times that of IGNOU.

do you suggest going for IGNOU BCA??

Or, really prefer BCA from any private college over IGNOU??

IGNOU vs Manipal Jaipur for online BCA??

I am 12th pass with 78%.

I am thinking of doing online bca.

I am confused between choosing —IGNOU or Manipal?

IGNOU will be 3 times cheaper then Manipal.

But the thing is i see many critics about IGNOU and from job perspective I don't know if they consider IGNOU that well as i read a post where the guy said he got his first job after removing IGNOU from Resume.

Though I'll build skills by myself only. And further, planning to do offline MCA from a good college.

Since i will immediately need provisional certificates after degree completion for MCA enrollment, IGNOU won't be a fit choice. Though i don't know about Manipal as well if i take admission in August term.

What are some good affordable online BCA programs apart from IGNOU ?

My qualifications:

10th – 90%

12th – 71% PCM, 75% PCB

I was a NEET dropper.

I need suggestions for an online BCA program. I know it’s August and I’m quite late due to some other plans, but now I’m planning to do an online BCA.

I’ve looked at IGNOU, but there are many bad reviews about poor marking and delays in results.

So, can you suggest some better online BCA programs that are UGC-recognised? In the long term, I’m probably planning to do an MCA from a top-tier institute.

I’m thinking of doing a decent online BCA while building my skills alongside on my own, and taking some affordable courses if required.

I come from a lower-middle-class family, and due to some emergency, I currently don’t have enough money to move to another city for a BCA.

Government jobs prep vs IT sector. What if i fail in both ?

My qualifications

Pcb 78%

20F ( was neet dropper) and doing bsc zoology.

I can't trust myself with a single option for me and solely do it. I am very much anxious about what if i can't make into anything. I need a job that pays decent enough to afford rent, food and some savings. I don't have any big expectations for now.

I know zoology is neither relevant nor something i can make my carrer into so i am just doing it for sake of a basic degree( no bca etc college nearby , can't afford to go anywhere so)

Help me choose any better option.

  1. IIT M BS DS + bsc zoology ( fully focus on that)

  2. Government exam prep(ssc, banking etc) from now only* + bsc zoology as a degree

  3. All three together ( BS >>>> gov exam≈ bsc Zoology) The thing is its almost not possible to do all theree together.

I can't do it standalone as i am not sure.

Any better option you suggest.

**I can atmost study till msc/mtech.

Urgent. Need Suggestions IITM BS DS + Bsc Zoology + Government exams prep?

My\_qualifications

20F

10th - 93%

12th 78.6% (pcb)

Neet dropper, can't take another, Doing bsc Zoology with minor in Maths from a local college. (No BCA/BBA college nearby so)

General Category, Lower middle class.

Parents are asking to prep for Government exams those Banking, SSC , Railways, etc.

May be i can prep but if I end up not cracking any then..Ik its very competitive (I don't like GK and current affairs though).

If i follow my parents words —I will have no skills by the time I will graduate. I do know that any career in bio field is \*\*long route low income with uncertainty.\*\*

\\\*\\\*\\\*\\\*\\\*MBA is expensive and loan is not something I think I should take.

Got to know about IIT Madras BS data science course. I am quite interested tbh. I know its quite demanding and I am \*\*willing to put enough efforts and more if required\*\*.

But again the IT sector is unpredictable and saturated with continuous layoffs and this \*\*BS Degree is online\*\*\\\*.

Its the best option i see for myself but self doubts is something that is stopping me to even talk about this with my parents.

What if i can't make into IT and even after doing all of it I'll end up to the same places i am today which is preparing for competitive government exams.

\\\*See i don't need to attend my bsc Zoology college most of the days.

\\\*I saw a nearby coaching who helps with government exams preparation where if i Join I'll have classes of \*\*\*3 hours a day , 5 days a week , for 1 year\*\*\*. Its within 3 km from my home takes 15-20 minutes to reach there, total 40 minutes of travel.

Coming to suggestions i need.

Its just to be in the race so if i end up to again prep for gov exams I'll not have to start from scratch.

conclusion - do gov exam coaching for 1 year and leave after that and focus on BS.

  1. Serious IIT Madras BS data science managing bsc Zoology (zoology i think won't be any barrier as I'll only study 2 morning each semester before practical and exams)

  2. Standalone BS DS , as Standalone students get better internship and placement benifits then Dual degree.

\\\* I am thinking If i go for BS DS, it will atleast take 4 years and I'll end my bsc Zoology in 3rd year itself. So the 4th year of BS I'll be 100% free.

  1. Do BS and if you don't get good job , go for mtech vis gate da for better opportunities.

(Online degree student without any offline tech degree will face difficult in job hunt off-campus.)

Any senior, someone who is passout without any offline tech degree, what was your experience in finding jobs.

Please suggest what I should do. I’m very anxious about this. What if I don’t make it into anything and end up exactly where I am today? What if I work hard again and still fail?

Planning to move into tech but scared of uncertainty in job market, Ai replacement, jobs for freshers ?

Hii I am a bsc Zoology student , 2nd semester.

My qualification -

93.4% in 10th.

71.6% pcm , 78.6% pcb in 12th.

Bsc Zoology student.

Since bsc is quite very long route with low pay. I am planning to move into tech through—

I saw about iit m BS in Data Science and Application online degree.

(there is no btech college nearby so cant go for btech in other city that too in tier 3 college).

I am open to go for Mtech via Gate, far most.

But the uncertainty is something that is stopping me.

I dont know about other options as well. I am from a Lower middle class family. Thus options like MBA and all is out of my budget. Can't take a loan aswell.

I am not interested in law.

What do you suggest?

Should i take a chance in IT?

Or there are some other options as well?

I am willing to work hard , if anything pays well.

Government jobs prep is an options but being Genral category there's no guarantee how long it will take?

Please help me , i am so hopless right now.

BSc Zoology student, looking forward to move into tech via IITM Bs Data Science online degree

Heyy! Please give it a few minutes, Help!!!

I gave neet this year and it was my first drop, scored around 350. And now don't wanna go for another drop. I come from a middle class family. And this year i enrolled myself into Bsc zoology ( 3 year ) Programme. After searching a lot i see no scope or low score for biology background student and now dont wanna stay here. Eventually, i came to know about IIM BS Data Science online program and i am quite interested as well. But going through reddit and other source it breakdown into just another degree, although its highly rigorous but so it online. And company doesn't seem to interested as well. Ofcourse those who pair this with an offline tech degree get an advantage but in my case i am persuing a Zoology degree which has no relevance.

I had maths in 12th but didn't gave jee, just passed in maths as didn't study much, and there is no private colleges for btech nearby and even if i go for the cost goes very high with the living cost and its not possible for me to spend much.

Though i have decided to Go for IIT Madras BS online course. I am still confused and helpless.

There's also doesn't seem good placement via IIC for dual degree student and finding one off campus is highly competitive.

I have some doubt around.
