Fast Company on the opening of Supermodel Cafe: store had "A lukewarm welcome" despite long lines

The article talks about an attempt at a return to branding that can encourage EDs, and perhaps is past its prime.

The food was also lackluster according to some customers, who said they were "underwhelmed" by the recipes and the food was "just ok." The store promises that its menu is changing all the time, and will be responsive to feedback.

The Girl Telling Me How She Afforded Her Boring Car (Go.Solvable.com)

I have tolerated this annoying video for a few years now. It starts in with her showing her totally unremarkable car in a garage and then narrating, "I'm going to show you how I afforded this car. Are you ready?" and then showing her mobile or computer screen. I don't care about your car. I don't care how you bought it. Go away. Go far, far away with your car AND your ad.

Microsoft Teams is the worst program created.

Since they won't even allow a post to the sub Microsoft Teams:

I hate, hate, hate this program. Two different instances show up in my work screen, it takes me 5 minutes to get to the conversation I need, and it just plain is annoying AF. I curse it daily. Thanks Microsoft. You SUCK.

Well, this is a welcome announcement.

Although I am frequently posting snark on here, I am genuinely glad that B is finally doing something with food and a restaurant instead of just eating on Insta. If you're trained as a chef -- and that's how she made her name originally -- it seems a waste to me not to have a restaurant or some kind of foods line. I always thought she should have started a frozen foods line widely distributed, instead of the few SG products that were mostly introduced and quickly withrdrawn from the market, one by one. I am curious to see how the restaurant will do. https://people.com/bethenny-frankel-launches-supermodel-cafe-inspired-by-her-viral-social-media-recipes-exclusive-12029030

Side note: Initially I was thinking, where have I heard of this kind of concept before? Perhaps you did, too. Back in 1995, the Fashion Cafe launched in NYC. But it was never actually owned by models. Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer, and Christy Turlington were just paid to promote the restaurant; Italian brothers Tommaso and Francesco Buti were the actual owners.
