Stirling really does make some of the best. Mail call!
Texas on fire smells like a camp fire, which for me is perfect for late summer going into fall. We're using the coconut lime for our summer scent this month, and honorable mention to dunshire. Dunshire is the scent I get most complimented on when I wear it by complete strangers. I understand it's on its way to being discontinued, which is a tragedy. I make sure to order some every time so I can stock up.
What's wrong with the underlinked compressor? Price is too good to be true.
amzn.toEarly Disney movies are pretty dark and a little disturbing.
You might even say, they're a bit Grimm
Y'all think I should add more sugar?
I'm no chemist, but maybe this starting gravity could use more sugar.
Air pew pew enthusiasts - I'm buying my first PCP and would greatly benefit from a comprehensive compressor recommendation.
So I'm ready to pull the trigger (pun intended) on my first PCP in the good ol USA, where it's far easier and cheaper to buy a real gun than one of these.

I've settled on the Beeman Chief 2 plus for $188 sold on amazon in .177 for my backyard plinking needs at about 50 ft.

Reviews give it the most shots for fill and pretty good groups at that distance.

With all that said, don't understand the differences between pumps, how they work, what to look out for, why some of the units have external components that look like power supplies for a computer, and trying to find one under $200.

This is all going to be my backyard. Not going to a competition. Not even pest control.

Just a dad passing the time in the summer heat.
Amazon posting for beeman II plus chief seems wrong, can anyone weigh in?
I saw this listed on Amazon and a couple of things. I'm having fomo so looking for some feedback here.

I keep seeing on air gun forums that this can be bought for less, but I haven't been able to find it cheaper.

Also it looks like the bolt action is supposed to be a lever if it's a chief II plus, so looks like the picture might be wrong?

Also, wood would be nice.

Any recommendations on a good cheap air compressor would also be appreciated. Most of what I see are around 180 to 200 which is doable but a little steep for me.

And finally, this is really just for some backyard planking. My first PCP and after a lot of careful review, this one seems to be what I'm looking for. Lots of shots for phil, comes with magazines, accurate 1-in group set 50 ft.

After 25 years PlayStation lost a customer that I don't know where to complain about it.
I've had a PlayStation account for 25 years.

I've had untold amounts of games, I've had PlayStation online since it was first launched.

On 25 May my PlayStation online subscription call PlayStation Plus Auto renewed.

Except, there is no way on Earth I did not turn auto renew off. I always do. Because I can always find the subscription plan cheaper online somewhere else or wait for a sale. This year it was $80.

The transaction posted on the 25th of May and on the 26th I called and asked for a refund. Playstation has a 14-day return window on requesting a subscription refund.

The virtual agent in the chat told me that it had already been 14 days. It had not. I sent them screenshots proving to them that it had only been a day and a half.

The agent disconnected the chat and sent me an email with my case id.

I did the only other option left to me. Initiated a chargeback with my bank. They asked for proof, I showed them proof. The bank awarded my charge back today.

Also today, PlayStation permanently suspended my account.

After spending over an hour with them on the phone and over 45 minutes on hold, they told me the only way my account was being turned back on was if I sent them $80 via a PlayStation gift card to a specialized link they sent me an email for.

All of my games have locked me out. All my licenses for those games seemingly suspended, even ones that I have discs for.

They told me that they had already awarded me a courtesy one time in 2021 and they could not do so again. This isn't a courtesy. This is a refund within the refund window. Still, they kept telling me I was outside of the window and had always been outside of the window.

After over 25 years as a PlayStation customer, I'm finished. Done.

And further? Somehow they were able to charge an expired credit card so I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Next year the steam console releases and I won't look back. But I will never, never be a Sony PlayStation customer again. They charged me when they shouldn't have, denied the refund when I was well within the time frame, literally trying to gaslight me that I was past the window.

Their agents on the phone would not deviate from the script.

Gaming PC is out of the question, so I just have to wait for the steam machine.

TL;DR

PlayStation denied my refund request after only 2 days into a 14-day return window, claiming that I was outside of the return window. On a transaction I never approved and on auto renew that I turned off. After 25 years, they lost a customer forever.
ULPT your bothersome has the same water shut off at the street as you do.
Having trouble with that neighbor? HOA president? No problem.
Just so you know, most houses such as your own, has a water shut-off valve at Street level. You can buy a key from Home Depot for just a few bucks.
It will shut off the water to the whole house.
It's usually a little panel on the ground near the sidewalk somewhere. Lift that off, insert the key, turn, panel back on.
You shouldn't do this. But, you should probably test it out on your own house.
Redditors who have seen people make poor choices of relationships, what's the story?
reddit.comHelp reading my hydrometer
Fermentation has only been going on for 3 weeks and seems to have either stopped or stalled. This is my first time doing this and I may have gotten something wrong.
I used about 2 lb of honey for one of those 1.5 gallon fermentation jars you get on Amazon. Through some blueberries and hibiscus in there as well.
Today, yesterday, seemingly no bubbles.
This hydrometer reading was the day I mixed everything together.
Is there a discord server for this Reddit?
Just wanted to see if somebody has made a discord server for wine making or Mead so I don't clog up the server with a dumb question
Gents, this is a gentle reminder to watch language around your kids.
I often tell my dog to fuck off.
Right now, my 2 year old daughter is running up and down the hallways exclaiming "FUCK AWAY!"
Chasing the dog.
My Sterling drawer that definitely shows I don't have a problem
My Sterling drawer, PS dunshire is an underrated scent you should all try.
A sprinkler system that you can control on demand and revert back to automatic patterns.
A sprinkler system that you can control on demand and revert back to automatic patterns.
So you have a sprinkler system. Turn it in, set a timer, whatever.
It works by doing "zones" in set spray patterns. Right?
But what if you get a salesman or other at your door?
Anything from a salesman, or a door to door campaign, to a cop looking to bother you.
Press a button on your app and have all of the jets of water redirect to a single point: the front door. Drench the uninvited person at your doorstep with enough water to be soaked.
As soon as it's achieved, press the button again and resume it's normal pattern like nothing happened.
If they call or are the police, tell them not to stand in the stream when it's clearly going. And show that it's just it's random pattern as it normally does.
What would be your band name if you had one?
reddit.comAny ideas for an air lock on this
Jug is great that it has a valve for racking, but I need to figure out an airlock solution. Any ideas?
