Hello, I am looking to have 20 year vow renewal in Hawaii next summer and the one thing I absolutely need is for there to be birds and parrots present. I found out about The Bird Guy in Oahu, but I can’t tell if he’s still in business or not, as his website does not appear to exist anymore. Does anyone know?
This is happening more often now with my returns and I’m meticulous with them because I don’t want to be ‘that person’ at the returns counter that doesn’t have their shit together. I always have the item and the matching return code out and ready. And yet I’ve gotten a couple of these threats in the last couple months that they’re going to charge my card if I don’t return the right item. Do I need to start taking a picture of the return checker-inner person holding the item now? How can I make this stop? It’s not my fault if someone somewhere along the line scans the wrong item or loses the item or whatever is going on. And no, I do not have an exorbitant number of returns.
What is the best, most temp accurate and adjustable yogurt maker you have found to successfully make L. reuteri “yogurt”?
Also, has anyone used a prebiotic besides inulin and had it turn out? Inulin is so bad for autoimmune folks. I’d rather use acacia fiber, larch arabinogalactan, or sunfiber (or all three).

I’m a low BMI, low volume, stage 1/2, age 42 perimenopause coming soon, extremely active and in fantastic shape, been eating strict low carb with no cheating for almost 10 years - and I can’t deal with this anymore. I’m also extremely worried about ending up looking worse, which is why I’m considering someone who also works on aesthetics.
I hate that I try to not eat these at home because there are still remnants of the embarrassment from my 15 years of severe BED. Thank god I haven’t been severe for 8 years now, but this combo is the last one left that I still can eat.
Yes my dietitian is aware of my struggle around these two foods. Something that helps me eat less at once is buying way more than I eat in a sitting so I can feel like I’m more in control of deciding to stop and there will still be more if I so desire. Now I just throw away what is left after it stops tasting good. When I buy small portions, I obsess more and then am more likely to keep buying more and being sad that the amount is over. This approach that I started doing on my own without suggestion satisfies that weird scarcity part of my brain. Anyways, I’m still always mad at myself that I still do even this.
Does anyone else here have lipedema and just cannot get over the fact that this is your reality? And also have no one take it seriously because you’re not overweight (hell, it’s hard to be taken seriously even if someone is overweight with lipedema). I am having massive pitting edema and I just can’t deal. I need this taken care of and I’ve considered surgery for 10 years now but I also am afraid to make anything worse than it already is. I’ve already had vascular surgery and that helped some, but things are worsening again as I’m 42.
I have a 2024 Pacifica rental currently while my Odyssey is in the shop. I have all of the sensors turned on, both sound and display, but the parking assist sensors aren’t doing anything. No alerts, beeping, nothing on display…it’s like they don’t exist! Since I can’t see the front of the car, I am wary about how close I can actually get to things when I park. Is there some setting I’m missing? I’ve scrolled through all available menus on the screen. Help! Thanks!
