Congratulations on reaching a milestone for the show and its fans.

I’m so proud of being a fan of this show since 2012 and it’s really influenced my perspective of life.

A lot of the episodes they hit hard for me or when everything goes wrong during their plans (Hecks on a Plane, Mother’s Day 2, The Ditch, Wonderful World of the Hecks, Not so Silent Night) and it really mildly and appropriately satirizes how things get in the way of life and we gotta pull through.

There are several instances of this recurring gag in the OG.

1. Wok Star (He says Bar Mitzvah instead of Bat Mitzvah defensively)

2. Locked Up Part 2 - He’s put on the girls‘ side of prison in Yerba but can’t directly prove otherwise

3. How Trina Got In- Robbie doesn’t want to mention his bowel movements with anyone other than his doctor

4. Cell Block - He must clarify that he’s on the boys side of the competition

5. Star Spangled Tori - Jade questions why he was in the girls bathroom if he saw Cat in there at the crack of dawn.

I wonder what the actual intention was.

I can’t believe he was in Donnie Darko (as was Jerry).

Like I understand Nick was getting a facelift at this time but they were way too on the nose with the cartoon aspects of wacky shenanigans and physical comedy.

If you compare the first two seasons and latter two, this is night and day.

A lot of times this show parody’s popular characters, but sometimes the original character in question is also mentioned.

Barney/Baloney - the parody character is a recurring antagonist, but in one pinky in the brain cartoon, the real character is mentioned during Pinky’s hypnosis where Brain says Barney isn’t real.

Betty Boop/Googi Goop - Slappy mentions her in an episode where I don’t quite remember, but the parody is an episode solely dedicated to the expy.

What other episodes have this situation happen and was this a simple oversight or was this intentional the writers to poke fun of these characters?

Given how much more technology and science have progress in the past two decades, there are a lot of good possibilities for stories. Full serialization over new characters and ongoing elements of danger and sci-fi elements would be great.

However, I understand the roadblocks over the lack of availability with the actors and original artists, so maybe there could be a comic series.

Examples:

Kiss & Make Up (He schemes to steal Blake's blanket and torment him with it, and Darren of all people has to chastise Carl for it)

I Spy a Witch (Them bringing back Maude from the Dead; Lois' Bumblee Costume was adorable!)

Trouble in Gal Pal Land (They "help" Blake's mom win the councilwoman position so they can get money for lie detector but they get so caught up in the advantages of being her asisstants in the luxury, that they forget why they were there to begin with)

Lunatic Lake (Needed to be a full limelight episode of their adventure, like a found footage style)

Next Question (They try to steal the groundhog to make Brandon's monkey the new mascot)

No Hope For Courtney (Carl has to accept his mistakes amidst his ultimately futile attempt to stop their teacher from retiring, the ending in hindsight was a far better conclusion than what they could have done)

Easter Ham (their bunny hop scheme with Brandon)

Detention (Their deal with Blake's tea turns into a PR tactic for Carl)

Kiss Today Goodbye (Lois and him look for houses but he ultimately declines the haunted ones in favor of a more traditional lifestyle, showing his growth)

One notable thing for that final season is that the writers responded to the limited remaining time and the expanding cast of characters by having not only A-stories and B-stories but also C-stories and runners, but consequently even in episodes with good material, you don't get to really appreciate it because it's like 5 mins of stuff at most. Like the Courtney vs the Cheerleaders storyline is almost enticing but it's barely present due to being one of a trio of storylines, so they don't get to give a proper conclusion because they needed to make time for petty high school drama with the football team's jerseys.

When she’s driving with Cat to Bakersfield and she’s lashing out at the drivers.

Her delivery and timing was epic!

Like in the bank robbery episode, I don't understand why neither one of the boys had money on hand so they wouldn't have to go there in the first place if all that they really were doing was going to the arcade and movies.

It's also weird how in the Clothes episode they abandon getting the video game just for the sake of Kenan's accident.
