I am new to brewing potions, as my 2 week Minecraft phases never really got past just setting up a very basic homestead. I am now on Month 4 of my latest 2 week phase, and I am getting serious about learning aspects of the game I have never dealt with before. How do I attach the pictured handicap door push button to the glass pictured here on this commercial space? We had to remove it to repair the mechanism that allows it to work remotely, but now I can’t find a material to reattach it to the glass like it was before. You can see the button attached to the glass in the picture. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Anyone know how to fix this issue? I’m not good at windows. This window won’t stay up when opened, and I know it’s because this spring piece is not connected, I’m just not sure how to reconnect it and if I need to replace any pieces or not. TIA
Building I maintain is having a bat issue on an open air fire escape structure. I know there are many laws on books for dealing with bats. What can I or can’t I do here? They are setting up shop near people’s back doors that lead out to the fire escape. Picture here for reference.
Not sure what kind of villager this is. For context, I’m pretty sure this is just a regular plains village but this young villager is wearing an outfit I have never seen before, especially on any of the young villagers in this particular village. Why is it dressed like this?

I know that dirt blocks have to be within 4 blocks of water to be able to grow crops on them. What if the water is underneath the block? I am building an island off of an island and I was able to place a block over kelp and then build off that. Will this work?

I have been exploring a mineshaft under a village near my homestead on my new forever world. I came across a section of the shaft that has 2 spider spawners in it. My question is: how does one make an XP farm out of this? I have never really played Minecraft super seriously before this, so I am not terribly familiar with how to do certain things. I have 2 issues which are related, I’m sure. So first, my AC unit only gets cold when I am on the move, just blows hot if idling. Also, my car will start to overheat if idling but maintains normal temp when moving. What is the most likely cause in a 2014 SE? Hoping it’s kinda easy and not super expensive.

Bedrock: really would just like a spawn with flat plains and a couple villages nearby. The flatter the better. I like to build on flat areas and terraforming gets to be a bit much when there are other things I’d rather be doing. If you can give a few options, that would be great.
