I know that dirt blocks have to be within 4 blocks of water to be able to grow crops on them. What if the water is underneath the block? I am building an island off of an island and I was able to place a block over kelp and then build off that. Will this work?

Can multiple villagers claim a single work station? I have a village where I locked in a librarian I wanted, but I bred more and now I have a second librarian with only 1 lectern in the village. Can I re-roll the new librarian?

I have been exploring a mineshaft under a village near my homestead on my new forever world. I came across a section of the shaft that has 2 spider spawners in it. My question is: how does one make an XP farm out of this? I have never really played Minecraft super seriously before this, so I am not terribly familiar with how to do certain things. I have 2 issues which are related, I’m sure. So first, my AC unit only gets cold when I am on the move, just blows hot if idling. Also, my car will start to overheat if idling but maintains normal temp when moving. What is the most likely cause in a 2014 SE? Hoping it’s kinda easy and not super expensive.

Bedrock: really would just like a spawn with flat plains and a couple villages nearby. The flatter the better. I like to build on flat areas and terraforming gets to be a bit much when there are other things I’d rather be doing. If you can give a few options, that would be great. Thanks in advance if you take them time to help me out.

Does anyone ever use a site or app that tells you where diamonds and lapis and other ores are? Two questions about it.

Anybody have any good resources for build ideas and also maybe good step by step instructions? I’m not super creative, but I do like building things from instructions and it feels just as good to build something by hand even if I didn’t design the build. I’m talking all kinds of structures. Houses, stables, workshops, etc. The more step by step it is, the better. TIA!

So, I finally sealed up around the tail lights and all the areas that are the usual suspects for the water getting into my trunk/boot. It’s bone dry there now, so that was all successful. However, now I still get water in my rear passenger floorboard. The other day I opened that door and noticed water appears to sometimes drip out of the bottom of the door when opened. What could be causing this? I’m assuming this is where the water on the floorboard comes in. New door gasket? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
