🚨 ❕️BEWARE: KALOY PIERCING.043 – UNPROFESSIONAL & HINDI SUMUSUNOD SA SARILI NILANG POLICIES 🚨❕️
Not a scam on a legal sense, but I will be posting here for awareness.
Sharing this para aware kayo and hopefully hindi niyo na ma-experience yung nangyari sakin.
This is a repost btw. I deleted my original post here because I did not get to blur the personal names of the owner sa screenshots that I provided.
Now, again, back to the story.
I booked an appointment with Kaloy Piercing.043 and paid a 50% downpayment (₱525). Unfortunately, due to an emergency, I had to reschedule. So instead of Sunday, I wanted to reschedule it to be on Tuesday.
I immediately told my piercer and implied na okay lang sakin magbayad ng ₱200 rescheduling fee.
Now here's what happened,
My piercer offered to waive yung ₱200 rescheduling fee. Basta mag send daw ako ng partial advance payment. Sila mismo nag offer niyan, I didnt ask for it. So I sent ₱360 as a compromise. Pumayag sila. That was our agreement. Clear yun.
Hours later, biglang nag send sila ng screenshot ng "manager" nila na galit daw at kailangan ko raw magbayad ng FULL remaining balance + ₱200 rescheduling fee. Eh na-waive na yun? So naguluhan ako. When I calmly pointed out na may agreement kami, bigla silang naging defensive, hostile, at sobrang unprofessional.
Mind this, I was so respectful pointing out their own policy to them at yung agreement namin. But they took that as a personal attack, said things na hindi naman daw sila gahaman sa pera, etc. at kayang kaya nya daw kitain ang sinasabi kong pera.
Since hindi na ako comfortable magpa pierce sa kanila dahil sa naging treatment nila, I asked to cancel and asked for a refund. They refused because of their "non refundable" policy. Nung gusto ko sumunod sa policy nila (na sa day of session pwede magbayad ng full), hindi nila sinunod. Pero nung ako naman ang humingi ng refund ng downpayment ko, bigla silang naging strict sa "non-refundable" policy nila. So ang labas, sinusunod lang nila yung rules pag convenient sa kanila?
Anyways, my piercer agreed na irefund yung ₱360 advance payment ko pero not the ₱525 down payment. Pumayag sila pero biglang binawasan ng ₱200 para sa rescheduling fee na na waive na naman! So from ₱360, ₱160 na lang ang ibabalik? Yung ₱360 na binayad ko ay para sa piercing balance, HINDI para sa rescheduling fee. Tapos ngayon, ibabawas nila yung fee na sinabi nilang "waived" na? Parang nakakaloka lang.
May ibang nag-point out din na
Ballpen daw gamit nila pang markings (hindi sterile).
Naka watch yung piercer habang nagpi-pierce (contamination risk).
Walang autoclave na kita (meaning hindi properly sterilized yung tools).
₱1050 ang singil nila pero STAINLESS STEEL yung jewelry, hindi titanium (yung titanium kasi yung standard for healing, yung stainless steel cheap at pwedeng mag-cause ng allergic reaction).
Their policy states: "Full payment is required before the session, on the day of the session." My session was on a Tuesday. I was willing to pay on Tuesday pag nakapunta na ako sa shop nila and BEFORE they start. They demanded it days earlier, and then got mad when I said no.
I lost ₱885. regalo pa naman yung pera na yun ng Lolo ko for my birthday. Hindi biro yun sakin bilang isang student. Pero at this point, mas gusto ko na lang i-share to para hindi na kayo magsayang ng pera at oras sa kanila.
