How's Ocala or Tarpon Springs?

Wife has family in Ocala in a retirement community. While we are not of that age yet and still have time, how is Ocala like? We visited once years ago and stayed with them and it seemed alright and I have been looking at houses out of boredom. Any areas of town to avoid?

Same questions about Tarpon Springs.

We like Florida but dont wanna live too far away like in the panhandle.

TIA!

Charging for floor samples??

My wife and I have found ourselves doing a bathroom renovation. We are looking for floor (LVP) now and we have hit up Home Depot and Lowe’s. Home Depot gave us all the floor we needed. We went to Lowe’s and the flooring guy said they were $5/sample and we could return them for a refund when finished. I don’t recall this ever being the case last time we got flooring. Is this a company policy or just my local store?

Dealing with an inappropriate employee with a disability

We have an employee that works for us in our office on our shift. He is a combat veteran, and he claims he has Tourette syndrome. He has his "tics" but sometimes he gets wound up and makes super inappropriate comments out of the blue when he gets frustrated and some of them do cross the line of what could be sexual harassment if someone wanted to push the envelope. I'm not totally in a position of authority and by that, I mean I am in charge when a supervisor is absent but our union won't allow my position to be "officially" in charge on paper. I don't know if he also has PTSD or what his deal is.

We have tour groups in here - VIP's, other depts, outside partners, etc. Something triggered or frustrated him after a call, and he just said "I'm gonna gouge your eyes out you motherfucking cunt!" out of the blue. This is not his first time. It was super embarrassing, our supervisor told him to "calm down" as we had outsiders in our office. Our supervisor just tolerates it and its frustrating. The only good thing is that in 30-some months this employee in question will be gone as he states he will leave when his mortgage is paid off. The union constantly blocks any type of discipline for any trouble employees. Many in the office have complained to me. Do we just let it ride and do nothing and hope he does it in front of the wrong person?

Ohio - Tree on property line question

I tried posting this in r/treelaw but the automod told me thats not the best place for it and directed me here

There is an oak tree on my property line with my neighbor to the west. Neighbor and I are on great terms, but on occasion I do see limbs that fall down. He does have a car that he parks under it. So, if a limb falls, who is responsible in case of damage? I always thought about that kind of liability I have with this. I had an arborist tell me the tree adds significant value to my property and not to take it down (the cheapest cost I had to take it down was $6K). It probably could use a bit of a trimming but again, who is responsible for the maintenance? Thanks!

Cruise Director question

Do people really pick cruise ships based on who the Cruise Director is at the time or who it will be or let that influence their decision? I keep seeing questions asking who the CD is. I have never selected a ship or itinerary based on who the CD is.

Affection hog?

Anyone else’s lab an “affection hog?” Our boy loves to love and be loved on. We also have a JRT-mix. The second he sees you petting him he goes away because he doesn’t have your undivided attention and affection and all the loving isn’t going to him because “how dare you love on the other dog too!” lol. This is our second lab that has done this..lol.

What are the differences in the CX lines

Hello! So, we have been a Ford household for years. However, Ford decided to kill off the Edge and Escape and in the next couple of years my wifes car ('19 Ford Escape SE) will reach 200K miles and thats about the time we get rid of our cars. She does not want anything big like an Explorer and isnt sold on a Bronco. So, unless Ford comes through with a comparable model, we may move on to another brand for her. I am starting my research a little early. Nearest Mazda dealer for service is 40 miles away.

I noticed the Mazda CX's are comparable to her Escape. So what are the differences among them? Some cool options are nice (CarPlay, and stuff), AWD is a must. Anything to be concerned about? Thanks for any insight

AVOID I-670 W at I-71

There was a bad motorcycle wreck near Neil Ave and they have I-670 W closed at I-71 and the ramps to I-670 W from I-71z

Find another way folks!

Folks! Avoid I-71 S before 17th Ave. A car hauler semi-truck jack knifed and hit the wall. It looks like when it hit, one of the cars on the top flew off and landed upside down in the northbound lane. Traffic is backed up, mostly southbound.
