Little European Texas

I won't lie I thought it was a joke for a while then I looked it up. Poland is actually less than half the size of Texas.

I was thinking about it when I made the joke in my head that they are gonna need to rename the UN the UIN for United Islamic Nations + Poland.

Need an A/c

I live in a decent size home. the problem is I don't need all of the other 5 rooms cooled to the point that my bedroom needs to be.

I can leave the normal ac on at 6 or 7 degrees warmer.

I ended up trying to find a unit just for my room but I have no idea what I should get. What I want is one of those room units that has a hose to the window not sure if it's still called a window unit or not. Anyone able to point me to a fairly cheap one that can cool a room to the mid to upper 60s that doesn't use a ton of power?

Help with Early Game.

I had a post talking about youtube videos that had a few tips here and there but this is me actually asking for some good early game tips. (Pre Day 30 around level 43)

My Current Build setup does not work without more perk points than I have and also better gear that I have so I need some help.

As said above I am day around 30 maybe 29 and I have yet to survive a single horde night so there has to be some stuff I am doing wrong.

I am about to respec from Fort brawling build to Strength Sledge build. So here are some questions.

1.I said above I was going Sledge build but is it better idea to mix gun/melee build or wait on the gun levels till later?

  1. Are there any perks I should look at getting right now from outside the Str tree other than 1 level in Salvage Operations?

  2. What is a good set of gear to run? Should I focus on just 1 set or would mixing be better? Up to now I was running Nerd Helmet, Preacher Gloves, Preacher Chest, and um the Melee Stam Boots all at level 3 as that is what I can currently craft.

  3. I want to get living off the land but when is that a good skill to pick up? I have it yes but that's 5 skill points I could put elsewhere and with my Chicken coop I get plenty of Eggs for Bacon and Eggs.

Finally I wanna talk about mods. What mods should I be running on my tools? My axe is great its got fireman's mod, woodcutter and the mod that lets me do more block damage so I 1 shot wooden doors super quick.

What about my steel pick? Bunkerbuster and what else?

I hate when people say their childhood home is haunted...

and yet they say it just started. Seen a few videos where people say oh this is my childhood home and I've been living here for 45 years but just recently I started seeing paranormal activity.

I hate to tell you but unless your mother died last week it's not just gonna start being haunted.

Maybe you went and found a 80 year old Annabelle doll or maybe you got that antique rocking chair made 180 years ago and that's haunted but your house isn't suddenly haunted for no reason.

I think I am done for now.

I just can't force myself anymore. if I want to progress it will have me just sitting there with my phone unusable for hours and hours while I let the holograms spin. I can't swap to YouTube or read a book on my phone, nor can I close my phone as if the game isn't running no progress is being made.

so now I sit here at 4,000k power 3 megas and I just don't care anymore.

What tips do you have for someone with just a bit of playtime?

I'm not really looking for super early tips or late game tips but I have never really played heavily in the game. Nor have I played since before Alpha 21. Most of my experience till now was summed up as playing 7 to 14 days with friends till they quit and went somewhere else.

Now I am playing on a server and I don't have to worry about them cutting off the game when they get done.

So what tips can you give for a guy that has played but hasn't gone hard at it?

So far I have figured out:

Each tier of missions gives you either a vehicle or vehicle parts.

Night isn't super terrifying but should be respected.

Perception is very good with salvaging giving you a lot of stuff when maxed.

some stuff I don't know is:

Do hordes get stronger as you play?

How should I do bases? I have done both custom built bases and remodeled a prefab one.

Any suggestions on skills and leveling?

What are the better Early Vehicles?

I am really sub Rank 10 but I have been running around finding the vehicles stuck out in the middle of nowhere and repairing them/collecting them as well as upgrades. I have the Main DLC but thats all I bought so far.

I have looked online and many posts I have found seem to list either different vehicles every post or list vehicles that are unlocked later in the game as the best one.

Currently I am using the Royal BM17 for general use and if I really need to go deep in the mud I pull out the Caterpillar 745C with the Hummer as my scout.

Had anyone tested support and skills?

Normally I see some people looking at the hard numbers so I came to ask. Has anyone punched the numbers to see what supports are best to use or what skills are most usefull?

I have a question on how you start.

I have seen so many videos of people with a semi cut gemstone basically what they want to facet has been taken from the rough stone. My question is how do they get it to that point?

I have a lot of truly rough stones some cracked some still with hard matrix all over it. How does one first get the junk off then how do you figure out the best part of the rough rock to start work on? At work now but if you want some pictures I can take some when I get off.

I love all these videos but one thing.

When I watch these a lot look out of place. Some I can wave away as something or another some I think I know what it is and some just straight up freak me out.

then there are the clips where in the middle of a crowded street something happens and the person recording reacts and absolutely no one else. You see people just .moving or driving like normal. Now something like a small shadow is understandable but when a fire starts you.would kinda expect.pwople to react.

How large should a Cayenne get?

Pepper plants have come in nicely and other than all of them laying down about 4 inches before curving to the sky they are big plants. Even got my first few small peppers coming in on them.

This being my first year growing then how large should the pepper grow? I don't want to start removing them to soon. Yet I also don't want them to get.. Is overripe the word? I'm not sure with peppers. Its been years 10 or so since I last saw my grandfather grow.some so I want to make sure I don't mess them up.

Why would Caldari give up Jita?

Alot of there deeper systems I could understand but this is Jita it's 1 system from their home This would be the equivalent of the US giving up Baltimore. I sense major unrest brewing in Caldari that will lead to a major uprising to take it back.

Not asking if your upset about it more wondering if they send you an item and it's the wrong thing do you have to return it or can you just keep it? My sister ordered a $25 set of makeup. It kept getting delayed in the mail like a week and it finally showed up. Instead of her makeup it turned out to be a set of much more expensive makeups.

She just thought it was an upgrade nd I didn't really think about it till today because of something someone mentioned. So do you have to return A wrong item?

So reading everything it looks like I can craft an upgraded item by using 3 items.

Alright sounds fine. Problem is I can't get it to combine. I have 3 items in there and trying to get it to combine in hopes I can pull 1 of the items up but no luck no combination of items I have obtained from drops and crafted seem to work. Any ideas?

I have some Cayenne peppers growing in some big pots. They have finally gotten pretty big about 9 inches tall. (Grew from seed.) But recently after watering them or when it rains they will lay over. Leaves are still big and perky they don't seem to be dropping but the plants all seem to just lay over on their side with their leaves still pointed up

Is this normal?

I have been going over the story of ark and its been mentioned time and time again that the Arks and the Genesis ship were made to help humans basically evolve and survive. The Dinos were created and released there to help humanity grow.

So how did they get free on earth during extinction and lost colony? I can understand the creatures that were in the 3 proto arks getting out but there are other creatures that show up that's not in those 3. So other than just its a game. where did all the dinos come from? I didn't see where they released wild dinos into the world but maybe I missed it?

I enjoy checking the daily sov maps while sitting around at work and I noticed boss lost a few systems. Checked dotlan and a chunk of their space is Refed. So I'm guessing BoS is gonna be pushed out?
