Any rules?
What are the unusual rules in CEME that the main campus doesnt have, I know rules like unuform and walking on lawn are quite struct in MCS but I would like to know if it is the same in CEME

Coming from a very peaceful and slow area of Peshawar, Islamabad just seems so hectic I think my hair is gonna turn white. Where is my peace why is everything so hard to do here 😭
I've been going to FAST isb for CS and honestly I'm not really satisfied by the social aspect of it ( my batchmates dont really seem that keen on socialising) and it is way to overcrowded, I can also join CEME CE and avail the army discount, according to your experiences, do you think it is wise for me to make this move, my main motivation is looking for good company and making memories which I felt FAST was lacking, I'd appreciate any guidance
Missed the 1st day but went today, and honestly idk if it was my section or if i was trying to interact with the wrong people but no body seemed keen on socialising, which honestly made the day really dry because that was my main goal for today. It was easier to make friends in college back when I was more introverted than today. Hopefully stuff starts getting better soon or the next 4 years will be quite miserable.
Best spot to sleep in between classes in FAST isb
I have always heard a lot of good things about PIEAS as an institution but I never actually seen it as anyone's high pick while deciding on unis, especially for undergrad, why is this?
All my life I wanted to work with computers and make a name for myself in this field, all my years in schools/college led up to this moment where I finally study what I wanted to pursue. Only for it to be overhyped for the past few years and basically destroy the regular career path that once was for CS. I swear people who have had no interest in doing anything in this field suddenly got the urge to join it after COVID. If I was just a few years late maybe I could've changed my mind and go with some other interests like mechanical or aerospace, but it's too late for that now I'm afraid. About to start my journey at FAST university, hopefully things change for the better in the future as they are right now because growing in this field feels significantly more challenging than any other field 😢. I definitely still expect a lot from myself but the landscape of career is much more complex than it once was, so I will definitely need to do something extraordinary to be truly successful in this passion of mine.
Observing people from this subreddit, who got into their dream university through nothing but hard work but deprived of this opportunity due to their personal finance situation really makes me feel privileged. Alhamdulillah during this whole university hunt, I had the privilege to only be worried about my test scores and whether I would make it, never if my family could cover the costs or whether I'd need to work part-time to make ends meet. I appreciate you strong souls for trying so hard to improve your future outcomes and insha'Allah may you get the best outcome possible. I understand your difficulties in life and urge you to stay motivated, may Allah make it easy for you!
I don't have mine made and there is a chance I wont have it by orientation day, would I be able to submit my Form B as a placeholder till I get my domicile made or would I only be able to attend classes after I submit it?
What do pashtuns think of people like myself who were raised in a non-pashtun environment and aren't in touch of their languages and culture. I have often seen pashtuns feel pride in their cultures and traditions and to me at least, they don't really consider people like us real pashtuns, which I honestly feel is justified since the only thing I really share with them is my roots and not the important part of the race.
To me at least, 50% from Olevels/Matric, FSc seems like a lot considering how poorly these systems are managed and how it has such a higher luck factor. Not saying NU tests are any less luck based or mismanaged, but assuming they resolve their technical issues next fall, would you agree the weightage should be dropped to something lower like NUST or GIKI?
aur agar bolay nahi to phir kya karoon🥀
I will be shifting to zarkon heights in G-15 and looking for alternative transport methods to driving, what options are there in Islamabad for this commute. Modes with fix timings like vans are less preferred since the time table will be different everyday, people have suggested metro but I have heard their closes stop to G-15 is quite far from zarkon heights, however Im fine with walking 2-3 km if that's how far it is. Thanks
I see your game seniors, since I mastered dark psychology at a very young age 😈 I can tell you are scaring new guys because words speak louder than actions and if they are scared they are stress and stress = fail so GPA is lost so you can flex your 6.7 GPA to employers and when they say why is this so low gurl you be sayin ay bra ay bra look these new gens ain gat wat it takes gimme the job ya feel ya feel. I'm too smart to be fooled I have watched the illuminati movie i know how this works 👺 🔥
19M, I go on walks almost daily (mostly 5 km but my legs can handle upto 10 km) and have always wanted to start running, the only problem is even light jogs for an extended period of time makes my hip and knee joints hurt, add onto that my horrible cardio I can't run much at all. It is also worth adding that I have fatigue problems due to recent health complications. So, what is the best way for a beginner like me to get started in terms of pre-running warmups, running technique, nutrition before and during runs and building endurance?
18M, Have been using Saeed Ghani's Vitamin D facewash which has salacylic acid daily for a couple months now but haven't noticed much change, any suggestions?
19 M. Basically, over the past 2 months, I developed some digestion issues (fixed now thankfully) and loss of appetite which made me lose about 3-4 kg (68 to 64 kg at 6'1"), after which I got hit with a high fever (104 F) in which I passed out due to lack of nutrition, add in the intense summer heat I was put in at these times, I was done. These events basically took most of the energy out of me, I am now weaker than ever both in immunity and physically. I have to move to a new city for the start of uni in around 2.5 weeks and I would like to recover ASAP especially when it comes to energy because I get exhausted and fatigued very easily now.
To combat this so far I have started taking electrolytes before every physical activity I do along with some sort of carbs, I have started bulking trying to eat as much as my digestive system allows (both clean and dirty foods), I drink a good amount of water, do at least one activity a day which is either 5km of morning walk or 30 min strength workout at home, and staying in an air conditioned room for most of the day.
If you have any suggestions to add to my routine that would make the process more swift or easier definitely let me know
IN ANOTHER LIFE I WOULD BE YOUR GIRL WE KEEP ALL OUR PROMISES ITS US AGAINST THE WORLD IN ANOTHER LIFE I WOULD MAKE YOU STAY SO I DONT HAVE TO SAY YOU WERE THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY
We are moving cities and are in need of large cardboard boxes. Where can I get some in hayatabad?
I am a pathan and have been living in Peshawar for 6 years but never been serious about learning pashto since I've spent most of my life in other cities. Is there any good online way to learn pashto vocabulary, I can understand some of the things people say in pashto by making connections with urdu and my limited pashto knowledge but don't know how to speak. I do have someone to talk to in pashto just needs a way to learn the words.
