Anyone remember the questions for the Chinese siblings???
Me (17F) and my dad (50M) went on a trip to New York without my mom and brother. My dad had a business meeting and I decided to come along to explore the city on my own. On the last day of the trip, my dad wanted to visit Washington before leaving. He is into American history and wanted to check out the White House and museums in DC. On the other hand, I had no interest in this type of stuff and after he brought up going to see these things, I think he could tell I was not interested. He then gave me the option to stay in New York while my dad explored Washington or I go with him. Knowing my dad and how his temper is, I understood that if I did not go with him he would proceed to be very passive aggressive and lecture me about not going with him. So in the end, I went to DC with him and saw all the museums and buildings with him. Our last stop of the day was the National Air and Space Museum (the part my dad was most excited about). Since both of us got about 4 hours of sleep the night before and by the time we went to the museum, I was spent. At the museum, I decided to sit down and take a nap while my dad explored. Afterwards, my dad became very upset about me taking a nap and showing a lack of interest in the museum and proceeded to lecture me and say how he never should’ve brought me to New York and then eventually that anger turned into him saying how he should have never let me immigrate to Canada with him (???). He then talked about how I was simple minded for not liking this type of stuff and just started yelling at me on the way back to New York.
I went to DC to make my dad happy but in the end I he got very angry and said a lot of things anyways.
Be honest, am i the asshole?
Nice as in warm on the outside
My personality is pretty fluid and i’ve received many types especially ones that are F, makes me wonder if I actually am an INTP lol.
Some I’ve been mistaken as:
ISTP
ENFP
ISFJ
INFP
ISFP
ESFP
ESTP
These types were also given by people who are looking at E vs I and S vs N descriptions so it explains why they’re results are so scattered
I’m worried about whether my MBTI is accurate constantly. Thoughts like “am I really this type or do i just WANT to be this type?” fill my mind all the time.
On the note, how do you know if you are a true intuitive and not just a sensor who wants to be an N type?
Theyre so hard working and driven and they’re funny asf i dont get the hate lmao
Since learning cognitive functions I often find myself paying attention to the things someone is saying to determine their function stack. Anyone else relate?
I am a little confused about how Ti works and how Ti doms think. I know it’s about having an internal organization of information but what does that actually mean ?
Would you guys mind sharing some examples of how you use your Ti in the real world? Thanks!
I’m not sure if this still makes me an INTP but I find that whenever I am grouped with introverts, I tend to take leadership roles and be the most outspoken in the group. However if theres even one person more extroverted than me who joins the conversation, I will go silent.
Anyone else resonate?
My sister is only 7 hence why there’s question marks
I’m interested in games such as Overwatch, Valorant, Minecraft, CSGO, COD, GTA, etc.
I don’t know a thing about computers so I have no clue what to look for
Me and my brother are getting a pc for us to share.
Some games we are interested at the moment are csgo, valorant, overwatch, vr pc games, deltarune, minecraft, roblox.
Neither of us know anything about building pcs and we are just casual players. So I was wondering if it was even worth trying to build our own PC. All we want is something that can run all our games well and can be upgraded over time.
For the PC alone we are able to spend up to $2500 CAD
Any room recommendations too?
I'm a 9 while my friend is a 4. I find myself getting annoyed whenever she goes on about wanting to be quirky/special and wanting to be perceived as different. She also often judges people with mainstream tastes and expresses disliking to things that are considered "popular". From my perspective, she just sounds like she's an attention seeker who thinks she's better for being "different". Sometimes it feels like she's trying too hard to separate herself from everyone else
Can someone explain this to me??? I understand that individuality is important and everyone wants to have their own identity, but I don't understand why some people seem to put so much energy into being different. Why does it matter so much whether your interests are niche or mainstream? If you genuinely enjoy something shouldn't that be enough regardless of how many other people like it too?
Before anyone gets mad at me for assuming all 4s are like this I am fully aware that not all 4s are like this, this post is just directed towards those that may relate to my friend and can guide me through what she might be thinking. With that said, would anyone be able to explain what's going on internally? Is authenticity and identity all there is to it or am I missing something?
(Edit: forgot SPs oops i love you guys I promise)
