Need help please

I cant decide if I should stay in my country (usa) work the 9-5 until retirement and then leave or just completely leave. I am completely just at a lost . maybe its where I am but regardless I dont think moving within usa will really change how soul sucking usa is. I am also transitioning careers so theres that. But truly I just dont know what I need. My friends and family are all working 9-5 securing their pensions and buying homes, having families. I dont want kids nor care to get married and I just wish I could travel. In my profession as a teacher, I get 2 months off and about a week every 2 months during the school year. I guess I can travel during that time but i dont think its the same but I guess I will be securing a pension. Idk, what are your thoughts? What should I do?

American expats, did you leave a property back in the usa?

If yes, what did you do with it and was it worth it? If not, why not and do you regret it?

20 month program vs 12 month certificate program. What should I do?

So I wanted to attend FIT program but it's 20 months versus Ball State which is 12 months for the certification. I really hate that it's almost double the time for FIT. I'm not sure what to do but classes start soon so I really have to make up my mind

Best recommendations for inexpensive and online school as a working mom?

So I work full time and have a toddler so I am hoping for something flexible and on the less expensive side so I can pay as I go but my other conxern is if it is an actual good school to attend. I can only do online though. Thanks in advance!!

My certificate program is 20 months compared to another program which is 12 months

So I decided to do FIT ABA certification program but just realized Ball State (also an online school) is 12 months. . should I just go with Ball State? I have no idea why FIT program is so long considering masters programs at some schools are shorter

Why is this subbreddit full of narcisstic commenters?

Someone can come in here to vent and talk about an issue and comments will hyperfixate on the one line that has the least amount of meaning to the actual story or they will talk about spelling/grammar/etc. What is wrong with a great deal of yall that just like to argue and impose unecessary negativity?

I hate working for the Dad...

So about a year ago the Dad started working out and lost some 50lbs fairly easily, and Mom seems to have started Ozempic or something prescribed but she doesn't like comments on her weight even if it is just positive so I don't say anything. I on the other hand have been up and down with my weight lately and have been up most recently and the Dad I can tell is just looking at my body with a bit of disgust and whenever I have food , I notice him watching me so I get really self concious. Can I just go into work without being looked at like that...not to mention what an iconsiderate pos he is. He never gives me a heads up about what the plans are for the day when mom is away or unavailable so I am left wondering what is going on and if I ask it looks like I just want to leave..

They have the nerve to think about a dog...

It really astounds me that with all kids unwilling to clean up a fishbowl so that the fish has clean water, that they would consider a dog. Not to mention, all the kids have major attitude issues and one with medical mental issues. They have enough issues as it is at home and it really irks me that this would even be a consideration. Then one of the parents said it would be nice to have you at this time __, so you can be around for said dog. This is unacceptable and Im not okay with any of those pets whatsoever until I leave the position. That is not a responsibility of a nanny.

How do we make it illegal?

I dont think there is enough politicians taking this serious. It affects all of us in our daily lives that this should be at the very forefront. What actions do we need to take to make this the absolute standard everywhere!?

Best hookup app in nyc?

Or website? I really need to get laid. After many years of celibacy, I just need something for the moment. Would love if I could search by nationality/ethnicity instead of race

Why do Dominicans especially modern day Dominicans accept and predicate the religion that colonizers killed their ancestors for not accepting?

To be fair this applies to most of Latin America, but as a Dominican, I am asking Dominicans. Why would you pray to the same God that your colonizers pray to? Whose prayers are being answered then? Why is your "kingdom" in the sky after death and the colonizer's kingdom is present, very visible and here on earth? Most of all, how does that make any sense to you......??????  It infuriates me that our people are still so shackled

Is it worth the move?

So I need advice because I honestly don't know what I'm doing and I'm unsure if it's worth it. So currently I live within 30 minutes of Westchester County and although I love the apartment I rent, I don't feel safe for my kids especially when we arrive late evenings from their sport events or activities. The actual area is just not the safest. I am a young single mother of two and I have a decent job. However, Ive never owned a home so I am unsure about the hidden costs. Right now my rent includes the water, electricity and heat at a very reasonable price and that I can afford. The property I am looking at seems to be within my budget including taxes but I am just unsure if it is worth the move. I don't know how much I would be spending on the water, electricity and heat so those unknown factors scare me a bit. Not to mention other hidden costs that may come up. Just unsure overall if it is worth the change. The home is not too far from where I work as my job is also in Westchester. I did also grow up in Westchester but live closer to the city area now
