I used to think that that 15% tax was deducted from your funds when you sell them, but today I learned that it is solely on the dividends earned before they are reinvested. I need tip for finding cheap flights. I read in a book that buying flights just before they take off can epbe really cheap, but I don't know how to do so or where to find these flights. She is being sent back to Peru and need a direct ticket to Canada or with layover anywhere where a Philippine passport is accepted. If anyone can share tips for getting them for cheap, please let me know. Thank you.

My girlfriend happened to do a layover in Mexico traveling from Peru to Canada. She didn't have a Mexican visa and because of that she has to be sent back to Peru and missed her flight.
I never left the country so this topics is foreign to me.
Her phone was taken away until tomorrow. I want to know whether this is normal, how I can get cheaper flights, if the airline is liable in some way or if they can help us in some way, and how I can prevent this from happening in future flights. Thank you very much

I’m someone who loves their time and my goal is to grow my assets to the point where i achieve financial freedom. Because of this, im quite frugal as i work little, but i am able to balance things out. I invest and save every month, and spend only pf things that are important like health or tools.
My girl met me at a point on my life where i made no money while she was already financially independent and help me on my goals. Even before earning any money she was already aware of this frugal behavior.
Recently she got in debt to pursue her dreams. As a result she had to also adopt a more frugal lifestyle. One time i made a comment about her habit of buying coffee every Friday, which she saw as a reward for making it through the weak. I said that it was a waste of money. This has proven to be a huge mistake as she shows how much my opinon means to hear. As of today i understand that it was a reckless and ignorant comment, but it seems that the damage has been done.
We are curently living together as she came to meet me in my country, because she makes more money than me, she paid for the tickets, and as a response I told her i’d do my best to cover all the expenses here for the two of us. When she came to my country, as supposed to what she had shown me, she was a bit more demanding as she went for expensive restaurants and wanted to eat coffee almost every day. Of course I communicated this to her to which she said that I was mistaking if I thought that I think one can travel without spending this much, which I know for sure is not true as to me traveling is to go to normal places locals go as supposed to curated restaurants.
It pains me to see that she would see me as a cheapskate for not be willing to spend of things other than the necessary like transportation and food. She is a great girls who bet and bets for me to this day, but I think she was expecting more than just spending time together. I'd give her the world if I could, but as of where we both are this is the best we can do.
We decided that she would get her coffee and anything extras aside from food on her own. But I think the biggest hurdle is the realization that she would seems a bit averted to work a long with me to manage our finances the best way we can without being cheap.
I’d like to know the opinion from both females and males on these current issues im facing in my relationship. This problems continue to resurface as she tends to prevent this talks because she gets quite sensitive. What could be the reason why she would switch her values all of a sudden once we get to experience this together?

How was the Learning curve by Ebbinghaus conducted?

I'm trying to learn about the learning curve, and I ended up entangled in different information as to what it tries to explain and how it was conducted.

While some sources say it tries to show how much memory we lose over a period of time WITHOUT repetitions, others say it shows how much of that information learned the brain saves and utilizes to make future learning easier.

That is where my question stems. if it shows how much savings the brain keeps after certain amount of time has past, does that mean that Ebbinghaus relearned the information or he simply tested it and based on how much he could remember assumed that it would make relearning easier with reviews?

also the graph technically does show how much information is remembered as this would be the savings that aid future relearning.

Please lemme know if my understanding is wrong, and what I got wrong. Any sources you could recommend, would be appreciated. thanks!

I find myself searching the internet to find ideas and things that i could add to my book specially since it focuses on strategies and methods for learning. while i have found much information that could fit well in it, I'm afraid that I could get in trouble with the authors our owners of the sources I quote, and I don't know how correct it is to simple not give them credit.

I have seen how Morgan Housel gives credit to the sources he got info or inspo from at the end of the chapters I The psychology of money and I would like to do so too, so that the readers know where the knowledge comes from or where they can go the learn more. How could I do that safely? are there works I can't quote? how could I distinguish one from the other one?

I find myself butchering many phrases and words in certain procedures that I'm not fully comfortable with like payments or insurance. How could I learn them, practice them and know the correct terminology? Ik if there is any dedicated guide for them? Like article or yt vid?

I think just watching a tutorial in English and then translate the terminology is not the way.

I'm writing a non-fiction educational book, and i notice how when i struggle on one chapter or a part of it I skip over it and write the following in advance which makes it so that i end up having my chapters feel like they are too ahead of themselves or that the information is misplaced.

aside from that, i notice that in some chapters I start with numerous tips or must knows which I dive deep in before the main chapter. i do so cus i think the info in crucial and must be explained with details that would slow down or stall the book if i were to introduce them during the main chapter, but they I end up referring back to the prior lessons apprehensively as if they were not going to understand that the previously introduce content is supposed to play a certain role, which i think can be bad if over done, but it surely is necessary sometimes.

I think my book need a lot to erase and blend, how do you guys go about it? i have written so much that going through all of it to mix it feels daunting. do you think it is a good practice to jump ahead when you feel inspired to write page 5 before page 4? if so how do i prevent myself from misplacing the content? thank you.

My I pad wont take my home wifi while my pc does. Weirdly enough, it takes my phones data with no issues. Can I get some help with this? Does anyone know why it could be happening? Thanks.
