While being in society how do you feel safe even when you wear full cloths covering your ful body?

While being in society How it is safe even when you wear cloths covering full body?

I don’t know how people are. Even when you wear full cloths covering your body from hair to nail, you are victim of unnecessary and unwanted touching and dirty stares in public places. How bad it is?

Landlord asked for 6 months security deposit in 2026. How are people navigating the flat/PG market without losing their minds?

Currently flat hunting near Bellandur / HSR and every single broker or owner is asking for insane upfront deposits. When I brought up realistic market norms, I was basically told "take it or leave it". Is anyone else going through house-hunting burnout right now? How did you manage to find reasonable owners or decent PGs without getting completely ripped off? Sharing my horror stories in the comments, I would love to hear how you guys dealing with this.

Accountability Is Not a Weapon. It’s a Habit.

Democracy does not collapse only when leaders become corrupt.
It erodes quietly when institutions stop being answerable — and citizens stop demanding that they remain so.
Most political conversation today treats accountability as a selective tool.
Point it at the side you dislike. Shield the side you support. Celebrate exposure when it harms your opponents. Dismiss it when it lands closer to home. This is not accountability. It is score-settling with better vocabulary.
Real accountability is indifferent to party colours, ideological labels, and electoral cycles. It asks the same questions of every institution that exercises power over public life:
Who decided this?

On what evidence?

Under what authority?

With what oversight?

And what happens when the decision is later shown to be wrong?

These questions apply equally to governments, opposition parties, bureaucracy, judiciary, media organisations, regulatory bodies, and large corporations. The moment we start exempting any of them because “our side is in charge” or “the other side is worse,” the principle dies.
Three quiet failures that matter more than slogans
Process without consequence
Many systems have elaborate procedures, committees, and reports. Very few have clear, time-bound consequences when those procedures are ignored or subverted. Rules without enforcement become performance.

Selective memory
Public discourse often remembers scandals according to political convenience. The same category of wrongdoing is treated as systemic when committed by one set of actors and as exceptional when committed by another. Memory that serves loyalty cannot serve truth.

Opacity dressed as complexity
“It’s complicated” is frequently used to shut down legitimate questions about money, appointments, data, or decision-making. Complexity can be real. It can also be a deliberate barrier. Citizens have a right to demand simplification of what is being done in their name.

What this community can do differently
We do not need more outrage. We need better habits:
Prefer primary sources and official records over recycled claims.

Separate the seriousness of an allegation from the identity of the person making it.

Correct our own side as readily as we criticise the other.

Treat “I don’t know yet” as a respectable position when evidence is incomplete.

Judge institutions by the systems they maintain, not only by the individuals who temporarily control them.

Accountability is not the same as punishment. It is the ongoing practice of making power explain itself. When that practice becomes normal rather than exceptional, institutions improve — not because the people inside them suddenly become saints, but because the cost of opacity and failure rises.
No government, party, court, newsroom, or corporation is permanently entitled to the benefit of the doubt.
Nor is any of them permanently beyond the possibility of reform.
The only consistent position is this:
Power must answer. Always. Everywhere. Without exemption.
If that standard feels uncomfortable when applied to people or institutions you currently trust, the standard is working.
