Bassett dresser

I’m not sure where else to post this because I’m pretty sure it was manufactured in the 90s, but there’s a Bassett stamp on the inside and from what I could find on Google and Pinterest, it was made by Vaughn Bassett.

How can I determine what year it was actually manufactured based on this sticker? I saw a similar dresser on an old ad, but the top two drawers look different than what I have, so I haven’t seen this exact piece.

Boyd or Stickley ?

Google says the tall piece was manufactured by Stickley (1st) and the shorter wider one (2nd) by Boyd, but they’re clearly from the same manufacturer — Even if it’s neither of the 2 listed! Any help is appreciated!!

Can I still eat these?

Bite marks on all my cucumbers. I’m assuming rabbit or deer… maybe it sounds stupid but I didn’t know if I can still eat or just toss?

How long to wait for seller response?

I bought fabric from a seller in 3 colors and one of them is wrong - not just screen display differences, but actually wrong. I sent pictures of the fabric in different lighting per their request and now it’s been almost 36hrs since I’ve heard from them. When do I just go to Etsy for a refund? They replied to my first message in 4 hours and that’s what their profile says is typical for them.

Not trying to be impatient but I am making a wedding gift with the fabric, so just wanting to have everything in time (October so I’m still okay!!)

Feels like dryer sheets …?

Inherited a bunch of sewing materials when I bought this house and don’t know what it is. Ripped very easily but kinda feels/looks like fabric softener sheets. What is it and what can I use it for?

Harvested my first anything from the garden!

My husband was so excited when I picked a tomato and wanted me to eat it right away 😆 I ate it and immediately said “wait I wanted to take a picture for Reddit!” 🤣😭 I saw another single tomato that will be harvested tomorrow 🥹

What Linen Weight?

I’m making a Mr/Mrs banner for my cousin’s wedding and want something like the picture. I plan on using linen for the pennants and felt for the lettering. What weight linen should I use? I’ve never sewn with it before and just know I don’t want it to be flimsy. TIA!

Cocktail Attire Help

Wedding in October - in a church then reception is outside nearby. DC is cocktail and warm colors are requested (no blue).

This will be my first wedding as an adult (28F), and when I shop online for cocktail dresses everything seems all over the place 🥴 what should I be looking for? And do I really need to wear red, orange, yellow, pink, or could I find different shades of green for example?

Also, hubby has a light grey suit, should he buy in a different color?

Sewing room/faux wood paneling

ETA: My actual room is posted in the comments!

I recently bought a house and my sewing room has faux wood paneling walls, and I have no idea how to decorate in a cohesive way. All the main cabinets and shelves are basically the same color as the walls. The only things I know is that I don’t want to paint over the paneling, I want wall decor, potentially a rug. (The picture is not mine, but it’s basically the same type of walls for reference) any help is greatly appreciated!!

I don’t know my style so give me anything 😂 28F, mom

TTC - long cycles, potentially not ovulating ??

To get right into it:

- avg cycle length the past 11mths is 36 days (until now I guess)
- March 28 positive ovulation test
- April 15 another positive ovulation test
- April 25 had regular period (46 day cycle)
- May 19 positive ovulation test
- June 4 supposed to start period
- June 4 EWCM, positive ovulation test, negative pregnancy test

Irregular cycles are new to me and I just started tracking BBT so I haven’t been able to confirm if the second LH surge each month has actually resulted in ovulation. I just started googling and read it may be a sign of PCOS. Looking through symptoms, I do also have a couple tiny tags in one armpit but that’s the only other symptom.

What does the diagnosis process look like for PCOS? Could it be something else?

TTC #2 While Breastfeeding

I’m 11 months pp and would like to start trying to conceive soon. I’ve had my period since about 3 months pp, but I have only just recently started tracking my ovulation so I haven’t yet confirmed it (with BBT). I’ve done lots of LH strips and found my peak this last month. I’ve heard some women say that because I’m breastfeeding, I might not actually ovulate, which is why I bought the ring to confirm it.

Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of actually ovulating without totally weaning my baby?
