Someone in my family received a settlement from an establishment that she fell at. She was seriously injured. We feel she got screwed in her settlement. She is being told from her tax guy and from her accountant she has to pay 50% on her taxes due to a clause in the settlement for confidentiality. Because it was a fall she would not have to pay taxes for it but because there was not a specific amount of money that was specified for the confidentiality part they are saying she has to pay 50% of her settlement in taxes. I told her she needs to call her lawyer and ask if they can fix it and she said she doesn’t think they can. Any advice? She’s quite defeated.

Also their accountant says they have to pay taxes on what they paid their attorney?

I just did my third 10 mgs trizepetide shot last night. I have been on trizepetide for 11 weeks, wegovy pill for two months before that. I have been yo-yoing between the same three lbs and have not lost any weight. I loose and gain the same three pounds. How long do you give yourself to start seeing weight loss before moving up? My hope was that I’d start loosing at 10 mgs and I’d be able to stay on this for a while but so far nothing.

State Farm quoted me $960 for 6 months with the same deductible as my USAA plan. I’m paying $1700 every 6 months with USAA. I’m seriously considering switching but nervous to make the switch! I’ve never had problems with USAA but man we could use that extra savings each month

Tonight will be my 7th shot. I’m on 5 mgs. I did 4 weeks at 2.5 and this will be my third at 5 mgs. I do it at night because it doesn’t make me feel well to do it in the morning. The day of my shot though I always feel off and sometimes a little dizzy. Does this happen to anyone else?

I tried the wegovy pill for two months and gained weight. I switched to compound trizepetide 4 weeks ago. I did 2.5 mgs and then Saturday moved up to 5 mgs. I feel so much better being on this than I did the wegovy. I’m having almost no side effects but definitely feeling the effects. I have only lost 1 lb though despite cutting back significantly on my eating. I’m not trying to loose too fast but I wish I would have lost a little bit more in a month. I know 2.5 is just starting dose. I just see so many people loose 10 lbs in the first month. I’ve been trying to loose weight for so long. I need to loose 100 lbs. I guess I’m just looking for some encouragement from people who didn’t loose anything in the first month but did eventually start loosing weight

I weaned my son off 400 mgs of Qelbree that he had been taking for the last two years. It helped him in many ways but was really negatively affecting his mood. He wanted to stop taking it, so with our doctor we decided it was time to stop and try Adderall for the first time. Today is day three of him being fully off Qelbree but his ADHD symptoms are SO bad. He also has level one autism.

Has anyone else who has stopped Qelbree seen an increase in your ADHD symptoms when first coming off of it? Did it get better? My husband said it’s only been a few days and we need to give it more time. I didn’t want to start the adderall until he got the Qelbree out of his system and I was sure he was feeling okay. He’s had some side effects but not severe like in the past thank goodness.

My son has been on Qelbree for almost two years. It has helped in so many ways but we have gotten to the point of needing to try something else. He is on 400 mg. His doctor said to take a 200 mg for one week and then stop. The very few times that he has missed a dose, he has become extremely sick the next day. Mostly the headache that everybody describes. I asked his doctor if there was anything we could do to help manage the side effects and she said with his age, it would just be Tylenol and ibuprofen and just letting it run its course. He’s really scared. I’d love any advice that anybody has. From what I’ve read it doesn’t matter if you’re on 400 mg or 200 mg the withdrawal is still awful. Also, we are going to try Adderall. His doctor said that he can take the Adderall with the Qelbree but I think that it would be better to wait until he’s done with the Qelbree? Thoughts?

Hi I did my second 2.5 mg shot this morning and I feel so awful tonight. I feel like I could throw up any moment and I have an awful migraine. I didn’t have very many side effects the first week so this took me by surprise! Does it usually get better? Are shot days hard for some people? Thank you

I did my first 2.5 mgs shot yesterday. I’ve had major anxiety since I woke up this morning. I’m have pretty severe anxiety but it’s been doing well since I started Zoloft last year. Did this get better for anyone else?

I just called my local lifetime gym asking about a day pass. I was told it would be $150 for me, my two year old and my 11 year old to swim for the day. I can’t find anything online. Is this true??

My two year old has had a cough for weeks. I have taken her to the doctor twice. Both times her lungs were clear and the last time they did a walking pneumonia test and it was negative. That was two weeks ago. We are on vacation at high altitude and her cough seems worse, especially at night. I am contemplating taking her to urgent care tomorrow. Has anyone else’s kids been struggling with a lingering cough? I had one too but mines been better the last few days

I was thinking today about how most celebrities, like movie stars, have almost always hidden their children from the public as much as they could. Some would sue paparazzi for taking pictures of their children! Then we have good old Kay and Tay and all these other influencers pretending to be celebrities selling their children’s pictures so they don’t have to work. It’s so sick!
