I was thinking today about how most celebrities, like movie stars, have almost always hidden their children from the public as much as they could. Some would sue paparazzi for taking pictures of their children! Then we have good old Kay and Tay and all these other influencers pretending to be celebrities selling their children’s pictures so they don’t have to work. It’s so sick!
So I know that we don’t see the handmaid‘s in the testament because it’s from the girls perspective. But I’m a little bit confused that it’s such a big deal for them to get their periods when if they don’t get their periods, they can still marry high commanders and just get a handmaid? Are they eventually trying to phase out handmaid’s? I know the point of Gilead is to restore fertility and bring the birth rate up. But like Penny having miscarriages, why wouldn’t they just get a handmaid? Can’t Shu still get married even if she doesn’t get her period? I know that Gilead just wants to make these girls feel as terrible as possible and traumatize them I’m just not seeing the connection. Of course it’s a big deal if the girls are fertile, I get that!

I had one cavity, one cracked tooth and two fillings that had fallen out all on the left side of my mouth fixed from a new dentist 6 weeks ago. I went back at four weeks complaining of sometimes severe pain that radiates up my cheek. It comes and goes, very very sensitive to hot and cold. Sometimes it is really painful. It’s on the top and bottom, mostly top. He said it was a really big filling and it could take up to 8 weeks sometimes up to 6 months. He took an x ray and said it looked fine, adjusted my bite a little and said to put sensydne toothpaste on it. It wasn’t painful before he worked on it. I’ve never had this happen before. One of the teeth that hurts the most is the second to last molar on the top left side of my mouth. I’ve also been having this very weird tingly sensation in that area in the mornings the last two days. Is this normal? Pain is usually relieved by ibuprofen except tonight. Should I find a new dentist for a second opinion? I don’t drink or smoke, 34F. I take Zoloft, thyroid medicine and labetol.
I finally got my husband to go to the doctor after 35 years. Everything looks great except his cholesterol. His blood pressure was slightly high both appointments. I don’t know much about cholesterol. I’m trying to learn, I’d love any advice. He is 51 years old. We eat pretty healthy, dinners 90% at home, no alcohol, processed food or fast food. I make everything homemade. My husband loves sugar though and he does eat lunch out almost every day. I’d normally like to just lower it with food but I’m concerned with how high it is. The prescribed Lipitor. Would love any feedback on that too. Thank you
Im on episode 6. So did the dentist just fondle Agnes or did he r*pe her? Wont the girls be checked to make sure they are virgins like they did in handmaids tale?? Unless I am mistaken but I swear that some of the girls were being checked by the “doctors.” I am absolutely loving the show. EDIT TO ADD - YES I know there is no accurate test to test virginity but it is something I can definitely see Gilead doing to the girls and I thought they did that to someone in handmaids tale but I could be wrong

I tried the wegovy pill and it didn’t work for me. I’m wanting to switch to zepbound but my insurance denied it even after my doctor sent in an appeal. Where is everyone buying there’s from? I’m not sure if I should just get it directly from the website or not. It’s pretty expensive that way is my only concern.
I’ve been with USAA for 15 years. My auto insurance is astronomical. I haven’t had an accident in 10 years, knock on wood. Did anyone else leave USAA and find cheaper auto insurance elsewhere where?
My daughter had an accident in her CLEK convertible car seat. It still smells like pee after I cleaned the bottom part she sits on just with water and a microfiber cloth. Cleks cleaning kit has been sold out for almost a year. It seems it’s deeper in the car seat. It was hot yesterday and really smelled
