नियंत्रक एवं महालेखा परीक्षक (CAG) की वर्ष 2024-25 की रिपोर्ट में मध्य प्रदेश के सरकारी खर्च को लेकर गंभीर अनियमितताओं का उल्लेख किया गया है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पांच विभागों में ₹60,113 करोड़ के विकास कार्यों के खर्च का उपयोगिता प्रमाण (UC) प्रस्तुत नहीं किया गया है, जबकि 81 हजार से अधिक उपयोगिता प्रमाण-पत्र लंबित हैं।

CAG ने इसे वित्तीय नियमों का गंभीर उल्लंघन बताते हुए राज्य की आंतरिक नियंत्रण प्रणाली पर सवाल उठाए हैं और जवाबदेही तय कर कड़ी निगरानी व्यवस्था लागू करने की सिफारिश की है।
