While waiting for the tides to come down

Had a couple of hours to kill while the tides are coming down, so I decided to draw what was in front of me. First time on this hike with my partner, this new scene is now a very familiar place, and holds a special place in my heart and memory.

Engaged in the PNW coast 💍✨

No longer a lurker, girls, I have finally joined the gang 💍✨

Thought it was just a fun backpacking adventure on the PNW coast, where we waited a few hours for the tides to drop down, climbed up and down ladders, saw some washed up dead whales, had some amazing freeze-dried meals, so perfect. I can’t wait to marry my best friend and continue to have my adventure buddy for life.

My favorite find from goodwill 💜🩵✨

I was so ecstatic when I found this beautiful free people ombré cardigan at goodwill for $20 (sure, that’s on the higher side at a thrift store where they get their stuff for free, but for free people—what a deal!). Absolutely love the colors and the weight and length. My favorite outfits always have some article of clothing from Free People and I’m so happy to add this to my collection. It’s perfectly perfect 🩵💜✨

June and July 2026 Journal Entries

After some fun, busy events, I’m finally posting a couple of favorite entries from the past two months. Beach sesh, family visiting, renaissance fair, birthday at the zoo, seeing more family and then a European cruise with my mom (the main highlight was visiting Mont Saint Michel), I thought I did not make a lot of time to journal as I would like; however looking back at these pages, I can recall all the good summer moments and feel like I’m back there again. Still a lot of summer fun to be had. Still all the journaling I am going to enjoy along the way.

I’m home 🏡🐕🩵✨

Had to draw the moment I got home from being away on vacation for two weeks. Don’t know if I can really capture the joy felt in the moment, but I’m pretty happy with today’s drawing. Drawn with Ohuhu acrylic markers and Shutte Art Dual tip acrylic markers💕✨

Cock of the Rock

Went to the local zoo for my birthday and learned that there’s this colorful fellow called the cock-of-the-rock. Such a vibrant and bold orange, I don’t know if my artwork justifies his true beautiful.

…and that’s it for 2026.

…all by choice, of course.

Here’s an update to checking off some milestone items from my wishlist, the most anticipated one being the Gucci Pigna Pineapple printed Bamboo handle Peggy bag….on a previous post, I was excited about ordering both the LV 1859 Jacquard Neo Noe bag (pic 1, 4 and 5) and a vintage Jackie bag in the same pineapple print, but the following day the seller cancelled the order without any explanation…and that kind of crushed me, until I found the one I really wanted—the Peggy bamboo handle bag, more of a unique look, and having the crossbody strap is my preferred style.

Adding to my collection, I found a Marc Jacobs The Memo bag (pic 1 and 6) from his SS 2020 runway collection in this beautiful yellow suede leather and a Chloe Marcie bag (pic 7 and 8) also in a yellow suede (yea, there’s a theme here…), both for a steal of a deal.

Annnd I’m happy. Completely content. At peace. This is bag peace and I think I will go and just enjoy the bags I have.

She’s here— Louis Vuitton 1859 Neo Noe

Pre-birthday dinner with partner and his parents, came home grateful and feeling cute, and wanted to take a picture, ended up taking a video of a girl who’s got it pretty good all in all. I absolutely love my Louis Vuitton 1854 Neo Noe in this jacquard fabric. It’s lightweight and easy to carry all my belongings and more.

Featuring my beautiful husky-girl.

Some of my favorite things 💜🩵

Beach vibes with a mix of lavenders and teals. Featuring my favorite t-shirt and corduroy pants both from billabong, ombré free people cardigan from goodwill and a Fendi vintage beaded baguette attached to a lee nylon bag.

Journal art of the day

Just a chill day at home today, decided to draw a tiger because they’re so beautiful and I hope I was able to its beauty. Still need practice but I had fun with it.

The Barkin bag (from Haute Diggity Dog)

Was out all day with partner’s family visiting and while at a local dog shop, I found this for my baby girl, and I thought it was too perfect. If you can tell from the look on her face on the third picture, she absolutely loves her new bag! Like mother, like doghter 🐾👜✨

Barely in to my first cup of coffee,…

….but I just knocked off two bags from my wishlist and I am over the moon with euphoria right now. It’s too early for champagne but I almost want to celebrate, so here I am. For my birthday month, I would have a “treat-yourself” moment, and this is the first time I’m doing it with big-girl bags but I couldn’t help myself. Both are in pristine condition and priced just in my reach so I felt the urge to just send it. And I promise, this will be it for a while….but for now, let’s party!

Match made in Heaven: Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix bag charms and Gucci Jackie 1961 bag

Vulpix is my ultimate favorite Pokémon, and I knew I had to have this super cute magnetic bag charm set with the Alolan Vulpix together. Adding it to my new-to-me Gucci Jackie bag added, feeding my inner-child and making my heart smile 🙃🧡🩵✨ Both were from Japan EBay and I wanted to share my pride and joy to this community.

Journal Entries for May 2026

Month of May is in the books, 2 actually—finishing off my 2nd journal and continuing strong into my 3rd journal. I really enjoyed the artworks I drew, despite this past month being as busy as it was, and wanted to share my entries from both journals. For the month of June, it’s my birth month and I’ll be doing some travel, and I’m excited to take my journaling on the road (or in the air and over the water). Looking forward to the adventures I’ll be journaling about. Summer is here, friends, time to soak it all in! Happy journaling!

Stressed out at work but at least my Gucci Jackie and bag charms look cute 🥹

There are too many people here, I work at a customer facing environment, and everyone is here on their holiday and they don’t read signs and their kids suck… but at least my Gucci Jackie 1961 bag looks cute with my Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix bag charm together.

This is day 12 of 12 days, back-to-back-to-back shifts between two jobs, and I’m pretty stressed after reacting to a kid saying “The fuck?” to me.

Please show me your cute and beautiful bags to cheer me up.

BoTD: Chloe Lexa Satchel

When work is the usually the only occasion I need to dress for, I also dress for my bag. Today’s vibe is the Chloe Lexa Satchel in this beautiful red suede, and so I went with an old Billabong dress, a hand-knitted cardigan from goodwill, some vintage Timberland boots and a Free People barn jacket. How did I do?

Finished my second journal

Just finished my second journal tonight, and I can’t describe the sense of joy and accomplishment I feel, mixed with a pinch of sadness after all the months I spent pouring my heart into these pages.

On my last entry I thanked my journal for being my safe place and allowing me to grow and still be myself. I feel like it’s a part of me and I look forward to continuing this journal journey with my new journal.
