Two lovely pigeon couples decided my home was their hangout, so I started feeding them 🕊️

I accidentally got adopted by two pigeon couples, and now I have two tiny feathered landlords. Lovely creatures they are 🐦

A random Cork memory I can’t shake: The post-apocalypse guy with the goggles and green rucksack

I lived in Cork from 2017 to 2022 and there was one guy I used to see regularly around MacCurtain Street.

He always wore goggles and carried a green rucksack, and he had a bit of a post-apocalyptic Mad Max & 12 Monkeys look about him. I also remember there often being a strong smell of bleach or cleaning products around him.

I'd occasionally see him on the bus too, and I think someone once mentioned he was from East Cork. He sometimes seemed to be talking to himself, but I never saw him causing any trouble or bothering anyone. If anything, he always came across as harmless and just kept to himself.

It just crossed my mind recently and I was wondering if anyone else remembers him or knows what his story was, and hopefully that he's doing okay.

Found and reported a lost Leap Card. Here's the response from customer service representative

This morning I found a Leap Card lying on the street in Dublin. There was no name, photo or any identifying information on the card so I contacted Leap Card customer service through their chat support to see if there was a way to return it to the owner.

After reporting, customer service representative checked the registration details in the system and this was the response I received

Kieran McKenna has left Ipswich Town — should Celtic move now and make him our next manager?

With Kieran McKenna reportedly stepping down from Ipswich Town, his name is bound to come up again in discussions about Celtic's future.

Before joining Ipswich, he was regularly mentioned as a potential Celtic manager due to his reputation as one of the brightest young coaches in British football.

He did an impressive job at Ipswich, guiding them from League One to the Premier League and earning praise for his style of play, player development, and tactical approach.

Given his availability, should Celtic make a move and try to bring him to Parkhead? Do you think he's the right fit for the club, or would you prefer a more experienced manager with a proven track record at the highest level?

Interested to hear everyone's thoughts. 🍀

Would bringing back Slaven Bilić actually work?

I know opinions are divided on Slaven Bilić, but do you think he deserves one more chance as our new gaffer?

During his time he definitely brought passion, connection with the fans, and some memorable moments, even if consistency was a problem. Perhaps he never got the right backing or enough time to fully build his project.

Would you take him back if the opportunity came up, or is it better to move forward with someone new?

Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.

We changed 31 coaches in the last 25 years and yet the only lesson we learned is: "Consistency is key."

Some clubs develop players. We develop unemployment for coaches. Every press conference starts with "We need stability." and somehow the problem is always "mentality"
