Anyone have/know where to find a bunch of images of his handwritten lyrics/doodles ??

Looking to get a tattoo. I love some of the doodles on the sides of his lyrics as well but they’re kinda hard to find, searching ‘Bob Dylan art’ always pulls up others’ art of him or his paintings. Bonus points for anything related to Highway 61. TIA :)

My two cents on the discourse surrounding this art

Warning for mentions of S/H

I’m a lurker to this community but the discourse surrounding this artwork is something that I feel I should probably put my two cents into. I am also aware that the user who made this piece has been banned; not sure if that means off this sub or off reddit in general, I’m really new to reddit.
ANYWAY OP was seen justifying not putting a trigger warning on this piece under the guise of ‘it’s normal, I went through it and I have scars on my body so it makes me feel seen etc’ … showing a huge lack of consideration for others. Here is why I personally believe this line of thinking is extremely dangerous.

-“it’s a normal thing” is not a good reason to not include trigger warnings. Let’s put it this way: there are countless people whose PTSD can be trigger by fireworks. Veterans and victims of gun violence, for example. Fireworks are ‘normal,’ does that mean we should ignore the potential harm they can cause upon others ?? Absolutely not. An alcoholic’s relapse could be triggered by being around a group of people drinking.

-it’s specifically the excess amount of scars that make it an even worse issue. I actually had to zoom in, it looks like there were some drawn on the neck and under the eye as well ?? All’s I know is, as an artist who has characters with scars, these were clearly drawn to be a very big focus of the art. The artist chose colors with a brightness that would contrast greatly with Jax’s fur/skin, deliberately. This was a deliberate artistic choice, to make them as obvious as they are. While in a vacuum this isn’t an issue, again, the issues comes when the artist isn’t willing to add a warning to their work. What also makes it an issue is the character canonically not having any scars in the first place. I’m all for headcannons, I literally do not care, but everything I’ve mentioned before plus that makes this something else that becomes pretty questionable and teeters the line of romanticization.

-the biggest issue, how this affects other people. I have a real-life experience with this stuff. At the ripe old age of 13 I was on musically (now TikTok). I had a mutual on there who drew a lot of stuff with extremely obvious SH stuff. Well, guess what, as a 13-year-old who had a lot of rough stuff going on at that time, I internalized that art I had seen, and thought I should try it too. Which I did. And I don’t think I ever would have if I didn’t see it en masse the way I did online as a kid.
This is why we need warnings or censors on this, because this stuff can very easily influence or affect people who are in vulnerable places mentally. Maybe this is a hot take, but your self expression should not take priority over others’ safety and wellbeing. ESPECIALLY when this fandom is full of people who are very young and impressionable.

I hope OP gets the help that they need, I do not think that they’re an irredeemable human being or anything, but my lord, the way that they handled this was so shitty.

Also I do not like Jax as a character and I have a decent amount of opinions surrounding the writing of the show but I really don’t care if anyone likes her or not, but this has really next to nothing to do with ‘do you like Jax or hate Jax.’

Prozac Pikmin sticker

(ART BY ME) Hey all I just wanted to share my probably most favorite sticker design I’ve ever made and it doesn’t get a whole lot of love (probably because I made it specifically catering to me and only me). But I hope you guys enjoy it. I may make other versions with different medications/Pikmin types.

Make assumptions about me based on my room

Haven’t seen a lot of totally maximalist stuff on this sub so here’s my all over the place insane crazy very full room. Enjoy
Also this post was my reward for finally cleaning my room after forever. I think I have some sort of motivation issue because I used to be able to get stuff like this done fine but this took months. So I’m actually kinda proud of myself, and happy to be able to fully enjoy my room now :)

This CD almost kept me from ever discovering Rush

This CD ALMOST stopped me from falling in love with Rush.
SO my family moved out of my childhood home when I was about 14. Right at that time I had started to get into a lot of 70’s stuff, which was originally prompted by me watching Bohemian Rhapsody when that movie came out.
As we were packing up all our stuff, my dad came across his old CD collection. He had no use for them anymore, so he gave them all to me so that I could discover all his old stuff. Funny thing is, he wasn’t even really a Rush fan. In his collection was 2112 (this exact one shown) and their self titled album. The latter was and still is in perfect condition. 2112 … was not. This was one of the ones that got left out in the shed for over ten years.
I had found the self-titled album, and the album art really caught my eye. So I listened to it. Aaaand ……. It didn’t hook me. At all. 14-year-old me shrugged it off as a Zeppelin knock off, because 14-year-olds know everything. I figured ‘I guess this Rush band isn’t for me. It’s not like I’ve heard anyone talk about them anyway.’ And that was that. I knew I had this other CD, but as you can see, it’s not playable.
And then. One day, I was looking through a bunch of CDs at the library. And I find 2112. I’m like, ‘hey this is that CD I can’t listen to. Maybe I’ll like these guys if I give them another shot.’
And so on a road trip, I listen to 2112. And it blew my mind. I had never heard anything like it. Rush quickly became my favorite of all time. Seven years later I find myself in Chicago, seeing them live. Listening to 2112 really changed my life. Thank god I found that CD at the library. Crazy how those things pan out.
Anyway. I still have that CD. I don’t plan on throwing it out. But it is disgusting. I will not touch it more than I have to take this picture.

ALSO !!! Older fans !!! Us young fans are and will be just as big of fans as yall even though we were born too late to see them on every tour. Ok. Thank you

Ghost Rider Art

A year or so ago I had a college assignment which was to redesign a book cover. This is what I came up with (I also had to design the spine, inner flaps and back (not shown)). I mostly focused on drawing the cover. The original features more of a desert-vibe landscape but I felt like the forest fit the vibe of the book (which I have read) a little better. Or maybe that’s my preference for forest landscapes.
Other than that, I tried to honor the design of the cover while giving it a bit more of a timeless spin because a few of the font choices are admittedly a bit outdated.
I love handwritten text so that’s what I went with for the title.
The art that’s on the cover is 100% hand-drawn by me, digitally.

I still love how it came out, was thinking about getting prints produced of it but since it’s such a niche thing I have no idea how well that would do lol (context; I sell my art online. I'd love to make Rush stickers soon maybe !!). Anyway. enjoy :)

Songs about an ended friendship/relationship

Hey all, just had someone who I was super deeply close to block me after I sent them a message trying to reach out again after four years of nothing. Anyone have any songs that may be cathartic to listen to as I process my emotions ?? Preferably rock-adjacent (folk and jazz are good too) and not sad/slow. Example song would be I’m Giving up on U2 by Antarctigo Vespucci. Thank you

What are yalls favorite intro tracks ??

Kind of an unpopular opinion (not in the way that people dislike it but rather that people love others more) but Animate has to be one of, if not my favorite intro track of theirs. The “one, two, three, four, one, two” and then THOSE DRUMS from Neil are just the coolest. What’s everyone else’s favorite ??
I really enjoy A Farewell to Kings as well
EDIT to clarify I do mean the first song off an album but I’m down to hear people’s favorite first bits of any songs :)

Is my art style juvenile ??

I’ve had a lot of people assume I was like 13-16 based off my art style (I’m an adult), others say it’s very 2016/2017-ish. Is it really that juvenile ?? Would you be able to take something like a webcomic with serious topics in it seriously if it had a style like this ??
