Just wanted to give an update po on Ginger!

He got neutered na po finally last July 20th! 🥹 It was risky since he tested positive po for FIV kaya medyo delicate pa rin po ngayon yung treatment nya lalo rin may na-detect po na tapeworms sa kanya :( Good thing the vet has given him dewormer already. What matters most is he tested negative from FCV, FCOV, FHV, FPV, and FELV!

Also, another good news!! I found a reputable and trusted adopter na po for Ginger that I am sure will give him the kind of care that he needs. He just needs to get treated now for tapeworm and the post-op for his neutering. So please, please po I am humbly asking to keep Ginger in your prayers po 🙇🏻‍♀️😭 He will have to undergo another round of tests po ulit so please pray for Ginger that he tests negative for any illnesses or viruses 🥹

Will update po again once Ginger gets discharged from the vet and turned over to his new home. Stay tuned po hehe. Maraming salamat po for helping Ginger! Wouldn’t be able to pull this off without you guys’ help 💛

I've talked to some people here po and there are kind souls who are interested in adopting Ginger. However, they want to make sure po muna na okay si Ginger which is very understandable po. That’s why Ginger needs po talaga to be in good health. These are the things po that Ginger needs to make sure that he’s healthy enough to be a part of the potential adopters’ homes:

FeLV + FIV test kit- Php1,320
4 way test - Php1800
Nexgard- Php800
= Php3,900.

As much as I don't want to ask for this community's financial aid on this matter anymore, nasaid na rin po ako since wala po ako mapag lagyan kay Ginger the past week 😭 kaya nag loan po ako ng 4,900 pesos for his 7 days lodging po sa vet (a day costs 700). Need ko rin po ipakapon and ipa-vaccine si Ginger since yun rin po yung kondisyon po ng interested adopters before taking Ginger in. Honestly speaking, di ko na po kakayanin i-shoulder po test kits + vaccination&neutering 😭😭 All of this din po no assurance na mag negative po si Ginger sa mga sakit 😭 If he tested positive, offers to take him in will be off the table. Kaya may possibility pa rin po sya mabalik sa kalsada once I leave the PH. So please, please po keep Ginger in your prayers :((

After po non, hindi ko na po alam talaga pag wala po kumupkop kay Ginger. Hindi ko po siya pwede iwan dito sa bahay namin since my senior citizen parents are already caring for 3 senior dogs. May cat rin po kami na very territorial. Hindi na po nila kakayanin.

Pag binalik po siya dito sa kalsada, I don’t know how safe he would be since may mga strays cats rin po ako before na pinakapon ko po and then returned to the streets thinking they will be fine since kapon na sila, but someone has been either poisoning the cats or taking them to god knows where kasi bigla nalang po sila nawawala without any trace. I’m scared na baka mangyari rin kay Ginger yun after all the collective effort we did for him and all the pain he had to endure.

Please, I’m humbly asking you guys to help me save Ginger. He’s the sweetest boy. He will gently tap you on your arm to give him more pets. He has the cutest meows. Please give him a chance to be a part of your home. He fought so hard and is trying his best to recover. He deserves a warm and loving home after, and not being sent back to the streets 😭 Hindi ko na po alam gagawin please help po 😭😭

Ginger is a stray na pumupunta sa garahe namin. Nung nakaraan I brought him to the vet with the help of people from cat subreddits here and he was diagnosed with Calicivirus. Binunutan sya ng ngipin. Now he’s confined at the vet for recovery. 1 week lang sya doon. After 1 week is up, hindi ko na alam saan sya dadalhin.

Paalis na ako ng Pinas in just a few weeks and hindi ko na sya maalagaan gustuhin ko man. It pains me na mukhang need ko sya ibalik sa kalsada after all the things he had to endure. I just don’t know what to do anymore and I’m out of options.

If there is someone out there na interested po tulungan si Ginger please do reach out. I promise to finish his treatment, have him vaccinated and neutered before giving him to you po. Please help me give him the good life he deserves 😭

I built a cage for him and took him home. I was really excited. Kaso pag uwi po grabe nagwala si Ginger sa cage. Siguro po kasi pamilyar po sya sa lugar at atat na atat siya mag roam around again. Yung init paired with his determination to get out of the cage really put him in so much distress. Sobrang lawit na yung dila niya kakahalhal and hindi siya makapahinga ng maayos 😭

Hindi ko na siya natiis and nangutang po muna ako ng 5k from my sister para ma check in sya sa vet for a week po. After the 7 days are u, hindi ko na po alam. I can’t have him inside the house since may mga senior dogs na po kami and isa pang rescue cat na territorial. Paalis na ko ng Pinas in a few weeks. It pains me to just leave Ginger out for the streets again. Please help. I don’t know what to do anymore.

If someone’s willing to take him in, please po. I will do my best na matapos po treatment nya at makapon pi eventually. I just want to find him a loving home. Or else everything we did for Ginger so far would be for nothing 😭

Hello again everyone! Thank you po sa tulong niyo at okay na po kalagayan kahit papaano ni Ginger 🥹 He will be discharged po tomorrow. But the problem po is we don’t have any space left for him inside our house :( As much as I want to take him inside, we have 3 senior dogs that are vulnerable and have weak immune system. Not to mention may territorial cat rin po kami. So I thought I would just put him po sa cage po dito na pinaglumaan po ng dating dog n narescue po namin.

Eto po yung na-build kong cage for him. Balak ko po installan ng heating pad para po pag umuulan at di siya ginawin. Ilalagay ko rin po yung spare drinking fountain po ng cat ko and stainless bowl. Maglalagay rin po ako sa batya ng litter sand for his kitty business 💩 and then ayun po yung scratch pad and then yung bed po na enclosed. Cardboard boxes so that his paws won’t slip in to the cracks. Pag uminit po, mag lalagay po ako ng electric fan and tutok nalang sa kanya.

Am I missing something else po? How can I improve his cage while he recovers from his surgery and prepare for his castration next? Thank you!

Upon checking po, nakita po na infected na po gums niya at bulok na po sobra ngipin niya. Naglalaway po siya malala to the point na nalusaw na po yung tissue sa may lower lip niya (check photo). Nag positive rin po siya sa Calicivirus.

He is in need po now ng dental xray, dental prophylaxis, and kapon na rin po after since mukhang nakuha niya po sa pakikipag away yung sugat po sa bibig niya. Any amount will do 😭 Please help me save Ginger :((

They’ve been scamming a lot of people for the past weeks. They steal photos from other users here and claim that the sick dog/cat is their’s kahit hindi naman. Ang dami ko nang nakikita na na-scam nito. Sana naman ma-ban na ng mods.

Second one is a barreled labradorite as per the shop I got these from. But aren’t labradorites supposed to have this iridescent color to them? Please help.
