It’s like the first thought that comes in mind when I wake up is to compare myself to my boyfriend’s past. Every. Little. Detail. How their cheeks look when they smile. How slimmer they are than I am. How prettier they are compared to me. Its honestly so draining. I’ve been diagnosed with BDD last year.
I lost around 18kgs ever since my bf and I started dating. It all got triggered when he slipped and showed me a screenshot of a convo between his friend and him. He told his friend he had a crush on me during high school. And that I was prettier then. (I was overweight when we first started dating) this conversation was days before he hit me up, and like a week before we actually met up in person. That comment destroyed me. He has already apologized for that comment. It’s been two years. I’ve been comparing myself to his exes ever since. How they look, their body. Everything. I want to stop. The insecurity is so debilitating.
To anyone who has gone through this before, how did you overcome this? How can I see myself for who I am and not for who was there before me? Any advice or help will be gladly appreciated.

I’ve tried getting my foundation swatched by a saleslady sa LOOK (MOA) and ang nirecommend sakin ay Nars LRF in Vienna. I later learned that this was leaning towards cool. Most people say din na mas bagay sakin neutral-cool makeup and silver jewelry. However, im having doubts na baka yun lang thoughts nila kasi medyo maputi ako. I was told na mas pumuputi ako pag grey suot ko for context. Is this an indicator that I am indeed cool tone or warm ba?
