PVTA fare free possible ending.

Friendly reminder: The PVTA fare free program will probably end on June 30th. If it does end, make sure you have your fare ready before boarding the bus.

Stop taking advantage of MBTA station employees

I've come to notice that a lot of people claiming to be homeless are taking advantage of MBTA station employees by asking to be tapped in. Some of the homeless people I have seen do have money, but they're spending it on alcohol as well as smoking products. If it doesn't kill you to buy alcohol and smoking products, then it doesn't kill to pay $2.40 to ride the subway.

Fare free possibly ending June 30th

Given the fact that fare free on PVTA buses will possibly end on June 30th, 2026, let's hope it doesn't become an issue if fare collection resumes.

Show up prepared

If you have somewhere to be in a hurry, make sure to have your fare ready. People should really take responsibility for their actions instead of taking advantage of station employees all the time.

Old Quincy buses

I heard a rumor that the old Quincy buses will be replaced with the new electric buses.

Long wait at UMass just to get a cap and gown?

As some people in this sub already heard, it was a 2-3 hour to get a cap and gown which I don't understand. When I got my cap and gown last year, I only had to wait a minute to get mine. I don't know what's going on with that, but I'm glad I finished.

UMass definitely needs to be investigated after the incident at Hotel UMass. Jeffrey MacDonald's behavior in the kitchen has been reported so many times and it was not taken seriously.

I've been hearing that the contractor that manages Transit Ambassadors has received at least three letters from OSHA about violations and that's not good.

The MBTA worker that works at Prudential Station on Wednesday mornings always do a good job of making sure everything is in place. I haven't seen him this past Wednesday or the Wednesday before. I hope he's doing okay. I do remember seeing him walking pretty funny.

There were UMass Dining employees that complained about Jeffrey MacDonald's behavior in the kitchen, but it wasn't taken seriously. Serious question how the heck Jeffrey got the job as chef in the first place given his history?
