Lots of people out tonight to watch the Boston Pops fireworks! Let’s take a moment to appreciate the unsung heroes out here sacrificing time with their families to help make this event possible tonight.

The transit drivers. The fire department. Paramedics. Police officers. The ones themselves doing the pyrotechnics and fireworks for us all to enjoy. Thank you for your service, and happy Fourth of July!

It’s going to be very hot over the coming days, so please make sure to stay hydrated and that your AC is in good working order. Check in on your friends, family and neighbors, especially vulnerable ones. Be sure to use sunscreen when going outside.

PSA: During the heatwave, where possible, try and use the Elizabeth Line, District, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Line trains.

The S7 and S8 stock and Class 345 are air-conditioned.
