How's my crying?
I looked it up and that number calls the white house 😂

This crow and her crew of about 4-5 crows stop by my bird bath to wash their lunch most days for the last year and a half.
I call her Egg because she is consistently more circular than the other crows. She enjoys to be round. Even when they're all cold and tucked in to conserve body heat, she will take initiative and be rounder than the rest.
Hope y'all enjoy!
I found this candy bucket thingy the other day while walking my dog. I have a lot of houseplants but I've been interested in trying my hand at making a bioactive terrarium for some time so I felt like this could be a good place to start. I've watched some videos and read some guides but I have no experience with this and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with how to get started.
Is this a terrible idea? Should I try to 3d print a lid? Any advice for what to put in it?
One of the neighborhood crows that visits my bird bath. He was grooming himself when I took the pic lol
This is Egg, she enjoys to be round.
She likes to visit my bird bath with her husband and squad. I have a ton of pictures of her, she's here multiple times a week, they love fresh water.
The last two photos are her goofy husband grooming himself and then him asking for head scratches which Egg refused to give.
(The pictures are not in order or all from the same day. I don't actually know their sexes, I'm just guessing based on size. I can recognize them based on beak shape at this point too and Egg is always the most round ⚫️)
I'm 28 and people are starting to bring up kids in small talk with me now. For reference I haven't gotten any medical transition yet and my natural traits are very fem, but I dress pretty neutrally.
I've always known I never want to be pregnant but I have considered the possibility of adoption of fostering. Whenever the topic comes up I might say I've thought about it but I don't want kids and they ALWAYS respond with pros and cons of pregnancy. Pregnancy was never on the table for me and it bothers me so much that that's where everyone's mind goes about me. Even if I mention being queer and generally not being interested in people who could get me pregnant, the topic is always about me being pregnant or not when the topic comes up. Not once has anyone else ever brought up step kids, adoption, fostering, or even a partner carrying. People never think of anything other than me being the birthing parent.
This bothers me so much. It makes me feel so gross that people are not only assuming my reproductive capabilities, and so much about my body, but also never considering that someone might not want biological children and prefer an alternative. Even queer people have talked like this to/about me, though it's usually the straights who get really weird about it.
Makes me feel so dysphoric uggggghhh
I knew I needed better lighting (my apartment only has north facing, recessed windows, no direct sun) but I didn't know it was this bad! I didn't even know this plant was supposed to be actually red lmao. Looks like red secret is the perfect name!
Anyways y'all should make sure your plants have enough light, you won't regret it 😂
Edit: For everyone asking what lights, it's nothing special. I just got some random lights from a friend and some more off Amazon. They're just those clip on, bendable line of LEDs. I made sure they were full spectrum and actual grow lights though. I also made sure they really light up the area and most of my shelves have multiple lights dedicated to it now. They are placed varying distances away from different plants but set to full brightness and 12hr cycles.
Is this normal or maybe is it stress from too much light? I just added more light and this showed up. Leaves feel firm and I'm not seeing any other issues
I've repaired these ripped jeans multiple times over the years! I don't like to use standard methods, I just kinda put stitches and patches wherever I feel like they're needed. All patches are scraps from other alterations or clothes I wasn't wearing.
They're basically a fidget toy now lol
A few of these I made myself, a few I bought, and a few were a gift!
I was very sick as a child and have some extreme negative associations with medical settings and professionals. Even though I really really want top surgery, I have a lot of anxiety about going under anesthesia because I don't trust medical professionals with my unconscious body. I feel like things that seem normal and nbd to them are always things I wish I had been asked for explicit consent to allow (or had the opportunity to not allow). Run of the mill medical procedures being run of the mill don't make them feel any less violating to me.
I am seeking therapy about this but I'm just wondering if anyone else has dealt with these issues and if you have any advice or words of wisdom?
I like fridge temp too, but I actually prefer room temperature water. I also drink a lot of hot tea. I only really want ice water if I'm super hot and need to cool down.
Am I alone in this?
Can't unsee it
No idea where the stone was sourced. I absolutely love this necklace and I'm worried I'm gonna loose it without a way to replace it. Any idea of what kind of rock this is?
