What's the subject most likely to get me hired as a teacher?
I'm planning to move to dallas area and enrolling in acp soon and I've researched and plan on doing it with teachworthy. What's the subject that has the most positions available?
I have bachelor's in computer science. I'm planning to go for math grade 4-8 for my internship year because I actually like math and then hopefully I get certified and go for computer science.
The plan is to the the texes exam for Math/Science 4–8 (114) and then the ppr afterwards
PSA - don’t do long fasts if you have to take antibiotics that say take it with food
I recently tried to fast while having to take two different antibiotics and yeah I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve done fasts with other medications that said have it with food and have been okay. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for antibiotics that specifically say take it with food
Lesson learned and hopefully might help someone reading this in the future
Torchic eliminated! Choose your pokemon, the pokemon with least votes gets eliminated each day
Bonus - If you comment the name of your pokemon, it gets an extra point. For example, if there’s 10 votes for mudkip and 5 comments saying “mudkip” then that counts as 15 points overall. Also, only 1 comment per user
What do your parents consider as the “expiration” age to get married
I feel some or a lot like of families have an age they want their son/daughter to get married -usually both have a different age. Do your parents have that and if so what’s the age number?
Day 2 is already so brutal
I’ve currently on day 2 32 hours and this is brutal. Also, I’m a really experienced faster and have done 14 days fasts really easily. This time though I’m doing it in an country where the temperature is like 108 degrees during the day and the first fr just has me exhausted
In a way, this feels the first times I started fasting. I really the adrenaline and feels new again it’s fr difficult and the boredom feels new all over again
9 more days to go let’s go
Shifting career to become a teacher at 30
I currently have a bachelor's in computer science. However, the market is really bad and I'm also burnout from both applying and the job itself.
The thing is I'm thinking about teaching as of right now. I researched up teaching math using an acp with my bachelor's degree. If accepted, I'd have to do 150 hours like of online course material, pass the content exam and then another teaching exam - ppr. All that I can probably do within a few months. The starting salary for the dfw area is 68,000usd which is decent as I have a low lifestyle right now anyways. This gives me something to do, a new change and if I want I can always go back to software engineering
My significant other also lives in dallas so that makes it even better. What do you think of this plan for the rest of the year?
Changing paths to become a teacher
I currently have a bachelor's in computer science. However, the market is really bad and I'm also burnout from both applying and the job itself. I have about 3 years of experience.
The thing is I'm thinking about teaching as right now I need security and a change in general. I researched up teaching math using an acp with my bachelor's degree. If accepted, I'd have to 150 online course material, pass the content exam and then another teaching exam. All that I can probably do within a few months. The starting salary for the dfw area is 68,000 which is decent as I have a low lifestyle right now anyways. This gives me something to do, a new change and if I want I can always go back to software engineering if the market gets better as I'm still doing somewhat side work.

Has anyone ever taken the The TExES Computer Science 8–12 (241) ?
I'm planning on doing an acp and hopefully in computer science, the thing is though the practice questions seem really hard. A lot harder than some classes I took getting a bs in computer science. My question is, does anyone have experience with the test?
Also is there any place that helps teach it, I couldn't find anything about the 241 test on 240 tutoring
Boredom
I’m used to doing long fast like to 5-14 day fasts. However, right now I’m out of country and can’t really go outside and there isn’t much to do here inside.
The hunger doesn’t really affect me anymore it’s more so the boredom. Usually going out helped a lot and now I’m just here day 1. This is more like of a rant than anything else I think
Would you ever be okay becoming a stepdad/stepmom?
Would you ever date/marry someone who already has a child?
Personally, I probably couldn’t do that

reddit.comWhat would be a good estimate for a starting salary?
I’m think about moving to texas and teaching. I’ve researched up acp programs and it seems like something I want to do. I currently have a bachelors in computer science and have several years of experience in my field.
I’m planning to move with in a year to dallas/fort area. I currently don’t have that much responsibilities and only debt I really have is some student loan debt. I was wondering how much a starting salary would be in dallas? Also, is it harder to get a job in dallas compared to other districts. I’m still doing my research so any information would be helpful
How old are you and are single in a relationship or married?
reddit.comHow do you feel about the current state of the computer science market compared to the effort that you put in to get where you are?
Before I even start this, I promise to not make this self deprecating as possible.
Computer science is a hard major and there was a lot of promise when I started in college and I remember people saying how good of a major it was and if you worked hard through it, it’d be worth it. Even after graduating, you still put in work preparing for interviews, leetcode, etc. I honestly really liked programming and learning the logic behind it while also being to able to have a job and provide for myself and others so all that work was worth it. I remember my first actual software engineering job and it felt great.
However, with how the market is now and how it’s growing, it doesn’t seem as worth it now. There’s so much uncertainty about the field and the amount of learning is just increasing. It feels as if you have to work twice as hard and have twice the luck to just get an interview. Then, the interview process takes forever and you could get halfway through before the company changes their agenda, the job position gets dropped or you just have a bad day and mess up on one part of the five step interviews.
I’m not trying to say that you won’t make it and this field isn’t worth. It absolutely is and computer science in itself is really cool to learn. I’m not trying to discourage anyone from pursing this career, I’m more so reflecting how it changed from a great opportunity where the hard work pays off to somewhat of whatever it is now.

reddit.comWhat do you use for job hunting?
I’m talking any type like of job. Do you use job boards, online applying directly applying on websites, referrals, etc.
I hate using indeed especially since all the place you apply to make you create an account then dumb tests or dumber video interviews. For example, I applied to target and had to do about 45 minutes of dumb like to most likely questionnaire and then a virtual interview where I record my responses and all for not even a reply for store associate position
How do like you usually go about job hunting?
Do you think wwe would be as big as it is today without vince mcmahon?
If someone else replaced vince’s role from the start and he never existed, where do you think we would be today?
