Why can't I block subreddits anymore?

Once upon a time I would click "show fewer posts like this" and boom, I'd never see posts from that subreddits again. And even now, when browsing Reddit from phone browser, this method works just fine.

On on PC there is this new interface which is like, a big X next to the post, and clicking it causes the post to become hidden while simultaneously giving me the "you'll see fewer posts like this" message the previous interface would give me to confirm a sub had been blocked, except for one little issue: that message is a lie. As soon as I reload the page, posts from that sub are immediately back into my feed: in fact, more often than not it's the very posts I blocked not two minutes earlier that are immediately back.

What is going on, and how do I put a stop to it? There are subs I just don't want to see.

I am doing a BG3 run with a character based on Kayn

As you can see, the appearance is a mix of traits from various skins: he has the heterochromia of his base form, the haircut is the closest thing I could find to his Odyssey haircut, and of course I am trying to do a build that sticks close to his playstyle, with a lot of ambushing people from the shadows, going invisible etc.

The main thing here is that I am doing a Dark Urge run: for those unfamiliar, this means that a mysterious bloodthirsty entity is trying to sway me towards becoming a demonic monstrosity of destruction, and I can either resist or give in to it. That sounds quite similar to Kayn's own situation, doesn't it?

And thus I ask you guys: should I go Rhaast, I.E. give in to the dark urge and become a horrific murderer, or should I go blue Kayn, I.E. overcome the urge and turn into a new tool for myself as I carve my own path? I will actually update the look of the character, either going full demon (I have the mods for it) or getting myself the gorgeous super long hair of blue Kayn, depending on which side I pick after the big decision at the end of act 2. But yeah, I really would like to hear this community's opinion as to which option would be more interesting to see. I'll post updates!

My best unit in my current run (BE), should I just go ahead and make her a Mortal Savant at this point?

This was my first time playing with the DLC stuff, and while I did see the obvious synergy Marianne has with the Trickster class, I honestly wasn't expecting her to turn out quite this terrifying. She literally solo'd Maurice in her own paralogue, the big guy and his adds just couldn't land a singular hit on her.

I am tempted to reclass her to Mortal Savant just for the extra damage (swordfaire): that class is reviled for its bad growth rates, but at this point do those even matter?

Planning my pulls and I really like this guy (more than Quinxiao for sure), do we know anything about what kinda team he's gonna need?

Asking because I returned to the game very recently and I missed out on A LOT of characters (only 3.X people I have are Mornye, Denia and Luuk), so I'm trying to figure out how realistic it would be to put together a team for him.

Japanese cultural elements in Fodlan

I am setting up a Pathfinder campaign set in Fodlan, loosely inspired by the events of Three Houses. We've done the preliminary discussions with my players, we've decided which class each of them is gonna play, we've written down rough drafts for everyone's backstory, the usual deal.

Now my players are starting to procure artwork for what they envision their characters would look like, and one of them hit me with a concept which is very blatantly Japanese-coded, with a lot of samurai vibes. I was planning to tell him no, this concept doesn't fit the setting, but then I remembered the enemy swordmasters with their conical samurai hats and their iaijutsu poses. I remembered the mortal savant class which is just a magical samurai complete with Raijin drums.

And so before giving my final answer I figured I would ask here on Reddit, just to be sure: is there more to this? Like, is there any element at all, within the canon lore of Three Houses, that justifies there being Japanese cultural elements in Fodlan? Or did the devs just put in a couple classes with Japanese visuals for the hell of it? My gut feeling says it's the latter, but maybe there is some obscure plot element that completely flew over my head.

Me to Linhardt after seeing his A-rank support conversation with Lysithea for the first time

I always thought that Linhardt was a boring guy with a stereotypical gimmick and no real personality, but after seeing the way he explained to Lysithea his plans for a potentially life-saving experiment using pastry, and then sneakily yet seamlessly worked in there a marriage proposal, I now understand just how wrong I was.

Blast from the past

I am 36, so I don't really do this whole "crushing on fictional characters" thing anymore. But this sub keeps getting recommended to me and it seems quite fun, so instead here are the characters who caused me to have, shall we say, "awakenings" when I was a kid.

I wonder how many of these you guys remember/are even familiar with at all.

Maximizing Bloodflame Blade procs via stabbing

As the title implies, I want to use bloodflame blade incantation to buff a weapon capable of stabbing, and then I want to use an ash of war capable of hitting the enemy repeatedly, so as to get as many bloodflame procs as possible in the shortest period of time.

With that in mind, which ash of war is better: repeating thrust, or blood tax? Or is there another option that is even better?

Relatedly, I need a reminder about bloodflame blade itself, because I haven't used this kind of incantation in a while: if I switch a weapon's affinity to flame art or blood or whatever, can I still buff it with bloodflame blade afterwards?

As a returning player, what's the most efficient way I can use Chisa?

I played WuWa religiously from launch day up until Augusta's banner, and in that span of time I acquired every single available 5* characters with only two exceptions: Iuno and Carte.

Then circumstances of life forces me to take a long hiatus from the game, quitting right before Galbrena's banner and returning a little over two weeks ago. I got Mornye on the day of my return, and both Denia and Chisa on the banners they recently got: these are the only 5* characters I own that are more recent than Augusta.

So in light of that, what are my options for Chisa? What are her use cases? What teams should I optimize her for? And what characters, be they new or reruns, should I keep an eye out for in the near future?

How does the Phrolova/Phoebe/Spectro Rover team actually work? Has anybody tried it?

I am a returning player who missed out on A LOT of stuff, and now I am trying to catch up. As part of this, I am now considering options for what teams to fully optimize as we head into a new phase of the game with a new batch of freshly announced characters. Like, make sure I have a solid core of strong teams before I try to build more by pulling in new characters, you know what I mean?

So with that in mind, Phrolova is one of my most invested characters (I have one dupe and her signature weapon) and by far my best built one. Phoebe is also a strong character I have (got her signature), but the issue lies in their teammates: I have Zani but not her signature weapon, and while I do have Cantarella with her own signature weapon, I don't have Qiuyuan and I'm not guaranteed to get Lucilla (and honestly, since my finances are a bit tight at the moment, I'm not even sure I should pull for her at all, because I am told she needs her signature and I highly doubt I could get it).

So yeah, I read on Prydwen that Phro/Phoebe/Spectro Rover is actually a very good team, and for me it has added value because it would actually allow me to do something with Rover (I don't have Carte and thus, while my Aero Rover is well built, I don't really have anything to do with her atm). Has anybody tried this team? Does anybody have advice/warnings/general pointers as to how to optimize it and play with it? Anything in particular I should keep in mind when it comes to rotations and whatnot? And what kind of build would Spectro Rover need?

ALRIGHT FINE I'LL PLAY THIS GODDAMN CHARACTER

I don't even like her. But this month's battle pass was VERY insistent on the matter.

So yeah, newest Lux main here, coerced into this entirely against my will. I welcome tips and suggestions to learn her.

Oh look, another Rebecca post

Yeah sorry about that, I'm assuming you're gonna be getting a lot of these shortly, and I want to get mine out before the whole thing is banned/relegated to a megathread nobody ever replies to.

I don't have Iuno. I have Mortefi at maximum dupes, and before I took a long hiatus from the game I could never be bothered to properly build him, but now that I'm back I'm really trying to get serious about building my characters properly, especially considering that Augusta is one of my most invested character (one dupe, has signature).

So the question is: what level of investment would Rebecca need to be, in terms of dupes and/or signature weapon, to be better for a proper Augusta team than just putting a solid build on my Mortefi?

Jak'Sho self-shutdown?

Three time now I have ended a game while being equipped with Jak'sho, and as soon as the game was declared concluded, before the screen could fade to black, I got a message saying "Jak'sho has deemed PLAYERNAME worthy and has absorbed their power!", and then an announcement flashed on the screen which stated that I had shut myself down.

As an avid tank player, Jak'sho is one of my most built items, but I don't remember this happening until very recently: I'm assuming it's an easter egg which is meant to foreshadow something lore-related... But what, exactly? Do we have any real information on this regard?
