I'm a returning player and I dunno if I should pull Denia.

I have all characters up to Augusta, except Carte and Iuno (lost 50/50 + unfortunate circumstances with saved resources/IRL money). Then I quit the game right before Galbrena's banner dropped, for reasons that aren't important right now, and I decided to reinstall only a couple days ago. I literally just now got Mornye, returning player rewards came in clutch lol.

I actually got two 5* characters in that Mornye pull, but the second one was a lost 50/50. So yeah, knowing that I do in fact have Mornye as well as a guarantee, and knowing that Lupa is one of my strongest and most invested characters (alongside Augusta and Phrolova, but I don't think those are relevant to this conversation), would it make sense for me to pull Denia? Would playing her in a team with Lupa and Mornye be an upgrade, compared to the other fire characters I have (Encore, Changli, signature-less Brant) that I could put in such a team?

I like her design and I find the stuff I have seen around this sub, concerning her personality and her relationships with some other characters, to be very endearing, but I have seen nothing about her gameplay and I generally stay away from leaks, so I'm kinda in the dark here.

A MTG set based on Amphoreus: THE FULL PROJECT

Greetings, I am a day one HSR player and a long-time MTG collector. So because I am a completely normal person, a year and a half ago I decided to combine those two passions to create this project, so as to have a fully draftable, commander-themed set based on Penacony.

Soon after I deleted my Reddit account, due to various circumstances. However, now my friends have talked me into doing a new project (and by "now" I do mean "9 months ago", God this project took FOREVER to finish), this time based on Amphoreus, and so here I am, on a burner account, to share this new endeavor with the worlds.

Long story short, this is a set based on enemy color pairs, and is meant to be drafted under commander draft rules. Each color pair is represented by a designated commander: what this means is, for each color pair there is a bicolor mythic rare legendary creature who is specifically meant to act as a commander for that pair. When drafting, these designated commanders will not be among the cards the players can obtain from the draft. Instead, players will be encouraged to build a bicolor deck based on the cards they draft, and then they'll be able to simply hand-pick the designated commander who best suits the cards they got (two players can have the same designated commander, if they both are ok with it).

There are 255 cards in total, split among the various rarities: yes, I made each and every one myself, and yes, it was an absolute nightmare once I got to the commons. 99.9% of the artworks are screenshots taken either from within the game itself, or from trailers and other such YT content produced by Hoyo: in the EXCEEDINGLY RARE cases where I used fanart, I credited the fanartist in the bottom left corner of the card.

The core concept of the set was that, including Cyrene, there are 14 Chrysos Heirs: add in Zandar and you have 15 characters. So what I decided to do is, I split these characters into three groups: five characters (Zandar, Phainon, Mydei, Castorice and Tribbie) get to be representatives of enemy color pairs, and because of that they're assigned the role of designated commanders. Five characters (Aglaea, Anaxa, Cerydra, Hyacine and Cipher) get to be monocolor legendary creatures, each of which is designed to support the two commanders their color can work with. And five (Trailblazer, Cyrene, March 7h, Dan Heng and Helektra) were supposed to each represent an ally color pair... But because the set is designed around enemy color pairs, ally color pairs cannot exist within it. So because of that, these last five characters couldn't get bicolor legendary cards to represent them, and were instead represented in a roundabout way, by being referenced and depicted in cards of the colors they're supposed to represent. It was a challenging and complex way of designing a set, but I'm very proud of the end result!

And now, enough blabbering, and let's get to showing off the cards:

Designated Commanders

First Genius, Entelechy, Zandar

Heir of Death, Castorice

Heir of Passage, Tribios

Heir of Strife, Mydeimos

Heir of Worldbearing, Phainon -> Transforms into Khaslana

Hope you enjoy them! I am looking forward to everyone's reactions, comments, feedback and whatnot. And of course, if you decided to download/proxy the cards and do a draft with them, please do let us know how it goes!

Never played Devil before

I'm gonna do a super duper Regill approved Aeon into Devil run, because that is one of the few runs I have never tried before. Problem is, I don't really know what to build in terms of class: devil will eventually give me infinite Hellfire Ray, so I should probably do a build that can spam rays for big damage? But I've already done the classic ray sorcerer, I would love to try something new. I'm really drawing a blank here, hit me with some ideas!

Greetings. Last year I created this project, but then soon after I deleted my Reddit account due to various issues. Now my friends have talked me into doing another full set project, this time based on Amphoreus, and so even though I have no desire to spend any prolonged period of time on Reddit, I figured I'd create a burner account just to share my creations with the world. Once the project is fully done it will end up on the main HSR sub, but in the meantime I figured you guys would enjoy seeing a sneak peek of Dan Heng-related cards... Although, his situation in this set is a bit atypical.

You see, if you count Cyrene there are 14 Heirs. Four of them, alongside Zandar, get to be the designated commanders of this set, representing enemy color pairs (Zandar for blue/red, Mydei for red/white, Phainon for white/black, Castorice for black/green, and Tribbie for green/blue). Five of them get to be monocolor legendaries, one per color (Aglaea for white, Hyacine for green, Cipher for red, Cerydra for black, and Anaxa for blue). And then there are the remaining five who, in my vision, would each represent an ally color pair... But because this set is about enemy color pairs, these remaining five cannot be directly represented, I.E. get a card that depicts them as legendary bicolor creatures. So instead I made a point to indirectly represent them through a handful of cards scattered across their intended colors, so as to convey their color identity and what playstyle they'd ideally be about, without directly representing them and while still working well with the commanders who do get to play with these colors. It was a very difficult, but also very challenging and stimulating, way of designing a set, and I'm quite satisfied with the result.

In this context Dan Heng would have been the green and red Heir, and the cards pertaining to him were designed accordingly, although the vast majority of them ended up landing in green. Anyway, enjoy!
