Product/technique recs for hair type?

Product/technique recs for hair type?

Hello all, I've been experimenting with my natural hair for some time now and have happily gotten to this point so far.
I have very soft-finish hair that is somewhat fine and low density.
I am getting a trim today which should hopefully help a bit, but I was wondering if anyone had any product/technique tips that would benefit my hair type?
Looking to prioritize volume while having a pretty good hold for both said volume and also curl structure. (this pic is right after I finish, it definitely falls some after this point).
Also if anyone has tips for getting/maintaining waves/curls within the midsections (+volume in general in the roots) for hair like mine that would be nice! (Soft finish+less curl def near roots makes it very difficult lol)
I did alot better when I took this than I usually do with achieving this, but volume still falls in the mid-sections+roots pretty fast even if I manage to get it in the start.
(I also struggle with side parts as my hairline is less than ideal lol)

Thank you for anything!!

Current routine:

-Shampoo twice with Giovanni Root 66 Volume shampoo (or occasionally a cleansing one for the first go)
-condition and detangle with Curlsmith Full Body Milk Conditioner
-(after washing) re-brush and plop with microfiber towel lightly
-apply a tiny bit of Curlsmith Hydro Style Flexi Jelly and scrunch
-apply TreLux ReFlex Curl Styling Serum and scrunch
-apply The Doux Mousse Def Texture Foam and scrunch
-diffuse upside-down; some time all hair in diffuser for volume, then in alternating sections
-switch to diffusing with head up, bringing hair+diffuser up to my roots in sections (sometimes with a claw clip at my middle part to keep hair off of scalp)
-alternate between these while scrunching lightly throughout
-halfway through ish apply a bit more mousse
-keep alternating with drying methods
-once hair is mostly dry add very light hairspray and finish drying
-fluff it out

I pineapple it up to sleep with a silk scrunchie and use various refresh methods.

Pain in thumb from matched grip?

Hello, as the title says I'm experiencing a strange kind of pain in the tip of my right thumb-pad when I play or press on it (almost like the "needle" of 'pins and needles').
It's reoccurred every season for some days during marching band, but never during indoor which has more tedious playing (and not in left hand as I play traditional).

Has anyone else had this? I'm wondering if it's perhaps from a little natural de-conditioning from the late spring/summer.

iPhone macro lens recs!

(Sorry if this isn't much of a question sub)
Hello, I was recently gifted a new iPhone (17 pro) from my parents for a big event, and I figured that it's finally time I can really try and experiment with some macro pics as I've been very fascinated in the craft and have gotten as far as I can with purely phone cameras.
I currently cannot splurge on an actual camera+setup (hopefully in the future I can lol), hence why I am doing this in the meantime.
And yes I am aware that I cannot get the level of quality with a phone lens attachment than with a real camera, I just want an extra boost for now to try things🙏

I've been researching but I want to see what you guys like/use as well (especially since so many sources are sponsored and such).
Any tips for extra setup stuff/light and whatnot are also very much appreciated.

**any price ranges are welcome, just "a chunk amount less than an actual camera+lens setup" is preferred lol

Thank you! :)

Recommendations for macro attachments? (+mushroom pic [iPhone 14 pro])

Hello everyone, sorry as I know this is less of a question sub but I was wondering if anyone has any recs for macro iPhone 17 pro attachments?
I do not currently have the funds to purchase a full camera (hopefully someday), but since my family gifted me a new phone I wanted to finally experiment with macro (beyond what I can do with purely the phone camera).
Recommendations of any price are welcome.
Also tips for additional setup/shooting for iPhone macro are appreciated :)

Restoring softness?

Caught a great steal on this adorable little beanie on eBay (I needed a mascot for something lol).
He's from 2009 but has minimal wear, although he is much less soft than other bears I have.
I'm wondering if this is natural from his Halloweenie collection (if anyone knows lmk lol) or if it has just become this way over the storage years.
If it is from the latter, I was wondering if anyone knows good tips for possibly restoring some softness?
I've looked things up but really don't wanna mess him up (and I'm ofc gonna be gentle with the bone prints).

Thank you for any help!

Recommendations for macro (and maybe landscape) lens attachments for iPhone?

Hello, I've very much loved taking photos on my phone for a long time, and would like to experiment with a lens or two to amplify my shots.
I currently cannot afford to splurge on an actual camera+setup (hopefully in the future I can lol), so I'm looking for lens recs for my iPhone 17 pro (just upgraded from a 14).
And yes I am aware that I cannot get the level of quality with a phone lens attachment than with a real camera, I just want an extra boost for now🙏

I've loved macro work for a long time and have gotten as far as I can with purely my phone, so that's my primary search right now. I've been researching but I want to see what you guys like/use as well.
Any tips for extra setup stuff/light and whatnot are also very much appreciated.

However I do love landscape photography (especially during my nature endeavors) so if anyone has some nice recs for that too that'd be cool, although it is not my current primary focus.

(Also lmk if there's a better sub to post on for this, r/macrophotography seemed to be mostly photo sharing)

Thank you very much for any help!!

How to get out of probable spam filter trigger?

Hello,
I am quite new to Reddit and have made some posts to some communities I like since I was excited and have many pictures to share.
I currently have around 320 karma from this mostly and from a couple comments.
However, when I tried to post on a couple new things today they got removed by Reddit filters.
I am afraid I may have triggered the spam filters (I checked if I'm shadow banned, it seems I am not), and I was wondering how to go about fixing this. Do I just wait some time or must I submit something?
Also is there a number of posts ish in a certain timeframe that must be made to do this or is that kept mysterious lol

I apologize if this has been answered in something and I missed it upon my search.

Thank you!
