Considering:

a) Mac Friendly solutions (preferred)
b) Easy or not so complicated methods
c) A big and active community in 2026

I trust this community to help me to make it possible, thanks in advance for your tips and guidances!!

Thank you all, in advance.

Where can I play Multiplayer sessions of Age of Empires 2 & The Conquerors Expansion in 2026? >> HD Version

Hello dear Players and Community. I am just an Age of Empires 2 & The Conquerors player and fan, that is feeling nostalgic.

I want to ask the Old School and New Players here:

What will be the 2 best ways to play Age of Empires 2 with Conquerors Expansion in 2026 (The HD version)??
Does any of these methods will apply to Mac? (or be compatible if I use CrossOver?)/

By "Best Ways to Play" I will mean:

1). With a big community of players in 2026
2). Easy setup, and Mac OS friendly if possible (I use CrossOver)

******** If not, would it be easier to play using the Original Age of Empires 2 with The Conquerors Expansion instead of the HD version?? *********

I truly appreciate your insights, and tips. I am thankful since now!

(Quick note: I am not wishing to play the new version "Definite Editon"). Again, its a nostalgic topic dear players and community.

Video Games and Board Games: Does anyone feels the same?

Hello! I wanted to share some questions and feelings with other Video-Games and Board Games enthusiasts:

I love to play both Board Games and Video Games. Somehow, there is some stuff from Video Games that I feel very fulfilling, that I haven’t found his equivalent on Board Games, so I would love to ask the community of Video Games and Board Games:

I am not trying to compare them; at all. I want to say that I love both of them. So, more than a comparison- It’s a genuine question from myself:

- Does anyone else feel like that there is some magic from the video games such as: Investigating Hidden Places, Investigating Secrets in the game or “around the game”, Bugs, Easter Eggs, etc… that it’s not possible to have on Board Games?

I love to even ask to ChatGPT to tell me rumors about the game, stories from the developers, hidden things on the code… And I would love to find and equivalent on the Board Games.

I know it’s not a requirement for this things to exist to make the Board Games amazing (and somehow I even love that about Board Games).

So my question will be: How do you expand or extend your Board Gaming experience (for your favorite games), beyond the way that it was designed to be played? And what do you do to “satisfy” your desire to be in contact with the game when you’re not playing?

I’m watching “Playtroughs” and always adding the Facebook; Instagram, Discordand Reddit communities of the publishers from the Board Games I love … but I feel like I’m missing something to be more in contact with the board games I love; when I’m not playing them
