This is my favorite line of the whole series. I love how he says it like it’s something to be proud of. 😂
I’m going to rebuild a Nissan KA24E. Nissan doesn’t make new valves for it anymore. Evergreen is the only aftermarket company that makes new valves with the stock seat diameter.
I’ve heard mixed reviews on Evergreen quality, and can’t find much about them or where their valves are made.
Anyone have any knowledge or experience with their valves?
Thank you.
This is a used exhaust valve from a Nissan KA24E. I’ve wire brushed it clean, but there is still this tan residue on the stem and base, as can be seen in the photo. I can feel the edge of the residue with my finger nail.
My question is: Is the tan stuff just more scale that I need to remove, or is it wear in the metal itself, and the valve is no good?
Thank you.
Does anyone know if there is a seal or o-ring for the swirl control valve shaft? I can’t find any part number or anything for one.
Thanks.
Is there a particular type or grit of flap wheel that’s safe for cleaning the carbon off of exhaust valves?
Thank you.
