i have come to favor more quiet vibe later in life.

I graduate next spring, and if there’s anything I have for future students its be ready to be on your own… don’t be afraid to start your own thing and find other students who will be open and excited to help you with your vision. This campus is becoming increasingly robotic…

- Handshake is a joke. Im sure it serves some purpose in being a gate keeper and also an data collection system. Anytime someone points me there, I stop listening. Find a helpful human.

- Counselors will take their time to help you when it matters most. And there wont be enough of them (when there can be, humans too)

-suspicious that a lot of internships here are simply “work without pay” agreements a business has with the university… Which only really supports businesses, not students. Especially if these managers just hold their recommendations over people’s head, while they make interns do poorly delegated work. Especially in one specific major.

…Because campus resources are there to make our own orgs and collectives that are human based and geared towards actually supporting a student’s future. Instead of just deferring everyone to useless ai tools. Students just gotta be more social here. So sad.

(SF-Bay Area, CA) Trying to get away from everything. Finally got work again. Where can I take my jeep, tent and rod? And catch some fish, maybe places with safe fish to eat? Right, I’m probably gonna need a license, to avoid some trouble.

What is a great BECA elective to take? That you didn’t regret? Or you saw someone else loving? I know beggars can’t be choosers but I just don’t want to get an unhelpful teacher like I did this summer…However I can avoid that. Been learning 3d animation, so I guess that could be cool… help?

So I might never find it. Because of technology, trends, the economy, my male gender. It makes me want to drink myself to death.

Trying to learn this skill… I am trying to use the add on (fspy? Fomerly BLAM…) he is using. He is using it to align things and work from a reference photo. I cannot find it on the internet (has gone through many versions that are outdated according to github :/ )

What to do?

I feel like if grades are determining our opportunities in life, then a teacher should at least get some reflective feedback on that…

Because I got a professor that literally tanked our grade for putting in valid effort into an already vague and hard to understand assignment rubrics… every assignment got APA sited as asked of us this summer…

Look, I don’t want to be a poor sport, but also, i wouldn’t mind if teachers like this saw less and less enrollment each semester. Support your students career, or why should I support theirs? when we already are doing that with our money? It’s like i took muni to every class just to get my grade tanked. I only missed two assignments…

I want to get into diving. Also someone told me they did that and i thought it sounded really cool. And I no longer skateboard, so for the last 5 years I’ve been getting into other things like musical instruments, working out, now I want to get into diving. City streets making me feel trapped.

I have about 800 photos that are actually worth keeping on my phone. Want to put them into a scrap book to look back every once in a while.

As title says, I have noticed a persistent audio bug going on within the app. Audio from one video will play on and on as I scroll. Have to quit/restart to stop issue, but it picks up again. Reddit performance has been slow overall lately. My savers have been loading slow. Likely all versions.

Really in a tough spot. Black person, been living in SF all my life.

All these advertising posts from fake subreddits are 1) annoying asf and 2) starting to feel like intentional spam… I know the internet is mostly bots now a days but geez. Blocking and muting all spam ad accounts, should probably just delete Reddit. Maybe they’ll take a hint, probably not.

At this point, sure, ai has helped me. But I just don’t get why now, ai has to be the reason everyone is suffering. I really don’t, other than “that’s just how society is”. Ai is putting us in a Great Depression, and the liars that sold AI are totally fine with our suffering. I’m already at this point of life where I can see every last person is just trying to get my attention or money. Then after such events, will treat me as if my usefulness is done for now by not talking to me again or checkin in. I’ve come to learn I’m “clingy”, have worked at it. But this ai thing is not helping. You have people who are literally “okay with people being automated out of getting what they need.” At times I feel as a man I should kill myself because my prime directive is starting to become obsolete. Women don’t need men’s love anymore. I grew up with married parents. And I start to feel fine with dying. I never got that relationship life people seem to grow into together. Fine. I don’t have to be a big baby about it. I went to church tried praying, tried having faith that love will come. But gladly there is a door out of this life for people like me, who hate living.

I just need a site to book my services on like yesterday… reading some reviews here, seems like godaddy is a “get what you pay for” deal, not a good one by the looks. Are these hiccups worth over looking to at least get a jump start to my service?
