Wolverine in the Spectacular Spider-Man style

Don't have much to say, was reminiscing about Spectacular and wishing it would get a continuation and one thing lead to another and I spent the evening drawing up this.

I always like Logan and Peter's dynamic and think it's a shame it doesn't show up in more interpretations. I think it could've worked really well in Spectacular.

the one thing that the new stuff keep getting wrong about April

A character that's been around as long as April O'Neal, especially one that started as a classic damsel, will inevitably go through a variety of changes.

Many of those changes are fine. Not necessarily good or bad, just different.

But the one that keeps grinding my gears is that they keep ageing her down.
April should be AT LEAST 10 years older than the turtles.

idk why writers keep aging her down. The only reasons I can think of are to either try to make her more relatable (a reasoning that has led to the deaths of many a character in modern media), or for her to be teased as a love interest for the turtles (which is gross and the writers never have the guts to follow through with it anyway).

Having April be an adult figure in the turtles' life works better. It's true to her original character, but doesn't stick her with the damsel-in-distress title. It also fixes the 'annoying April' problem.

Is this a hot take, or do most people agree on this?

Does Jim still have bat-strength ?

When Gordon temporarily filled in as Batman he went through a lot of changes.

He shaved his mustache, got a hair cut, and even quit smoking.

But his biggest change was the implants that beefed him up enough to be a convincing Batman.

I don't remember anyone ever saying those were removed so does Jim still have them? Is he as strong as Bruce?

Sonic design reworked

Reworked his dimensions a bit. Took a few more creative libraries. Added a few spikes and solidified the style a bit more.

Feel like I might have gone overboard with the spikes. Any ideas on how to fix that? I want him to have more than three head spikes but don't want it to look crowded

I also need to rework his shoes a bit still.

My main inspirations are Sonic CD and the Mickey Mouse shorts. I wanted to lean into the rubber hose cartoon style that originally inspired Sonic's design but wanted to do my own version of it, keeping a few of modern Sonic's Eastern animation influences.

Any advice about what I've asked about ,or in general, is welcome. So is any criticism, I'm trying to learn so be as harsh as you need to be.

I'll probably address Sonic's issues then tackle my Tails design next, as it needs a major overhaul.
