I've been on the fence about 3d printing our first can for a couple of months now and stopped just short of submitting my form.

What stopped me?

I don't know what fkn can to build out.

We just paid for a LNIB Walther p22Q for my daughter. Normally id want as much suppression as possible but 22lr being inherently dirty makes me think we should probably get some flow through activity...

The plan is to print in CF nylon.

What cans should I be considering?

At the moment I'm thinking ftn6 rimfire flow?

Log in issues

I left robinhood about a year ago.

Tonight I decided to check it out again. While trying to log in I couldn't remember my password and it asked for a set of photos to verify my identity.

I got i to the account and decided to switch devices. My foolish mistake being not resetting my password before trying to switch devices (I powered down my laptop that I gained access with)

The problem:

Its letting my change my password BUT it's asking me to approve the new device against a pre logged in instance.... that I don't have access too anymore because its stuck in this loop on ALL my devices.

My number is no longer the same so I cant get texts because they don't have the right number on file and I cant accept the new device because im not freaking logged in.

This is getting me pretty agitated.

What can I do to correct this issue so I can use my account again?

I bought a proxy core earlier this month. Almost immediately it was acting weird. I had to do a firmware update that failed several times. Now it doesn't want to respond to button presses MOST of the time.

It connects to Bluetooth but it will tell me the battery is too low on the first try some times and then decide it wants to work.

Most of the time its a pain in the ass to get running unless I've already used it earlier in the day and dealt with this bullshit.

For almost $240 usd I'm equally happy with it and sorely disappointed. When it works it's great but most the time it doesn't wanna do it's fuckin job 😒

What should I do here?

My laptop alerted me of an Os update. I foolishly did it without backing up. When I started my laptop back up it loaded to the gui for the hard drive encryption password. Once past that it loads to a terminal log in that does t seem to take anything. I cant recall my username usually it just asks for the password being a single user device.

I cant find any of my flash drives so I can't reinstall from a second d drive.

What can I do here. My desktop on the same original os NOT updated loads to the same encryption drive page and then black screens...

I bought a proxy core today.

Once I got the app I tried setting it up .it asked for a firmware update that kept failing. It failed one last time and started this behaviour where it just doesn't want to light up.

I read another reddit post saying to restart the android app and try again.

The firmware update went through and the device started working right.

Just now I went to turn it off and back on.

It lights up when plugged in and goes dark but is totally unresponsive. Ive tried press and hold for 3,5,7+ seconds, multiple clicks, the app. But its doing the same behaviour of pretending its bricked even though it was just used.

What am I doing wrong here?

I'm unmedicated, getting worse and at witts end.

I need a GOOD CH neuro in the seguine / san antonio region that I can actually trust to listen to me and take my health seriously.

I negotiate with god. I bite the leather and crank the music up. I lock the doors and bury my hands somewhere and surround myself in something soft so I won't fracture my hands again for the nteenth time.

The meds make me sicker than a dog and dont seem to help. The "alternatives" are unpredictable despite my decade + of experience with them and well to be quite fucking frank i'm burnt out on them. I cant be tripping every.single.day. good lord, GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK.

At this point my dog tells me half an hour before the worst attacks because she can smell it and knows that smell means me rolling on the floor screaming in agony gasping for air and getting extremely antisocial because the pain has me somewhere i'm scared to talk to a "professional about". The doctors have lost my faith, trust , and total respect as a whole.

Theres no empathy there, theres no relief.

Theres me, "the leather", a dog, and loud music.

If I act out I get "punished" if I ask for help I get "punished".

I'll make it. I just need to vent.

People hear headache and don't understand..

I called a disability attorney cause ive got numerous disabling factors and essentially I was told because I CAN find work that they wouldn't help me lmfao. Burning through jobs every 3 months for several years or being unemployed for a whole year to "take care of myself" isnt enough. Numerous hospitalizations for mental health and medical documents showing gbi are "not enough"

I hate to ask this question out loud but... how the fuck am I NOT suppose to consider the big NO NO when I can't seem to get effective honest to god help and relief? When it seems like no one gives a fuck?

Again. Ill be fine. Im not in any danger. But this pain has me jaded and angry at the world. I'm lucky my support network keeps me within the invisible lines and is willing to make me do things when they need to happen but man... why is everything about this torture. Why can't I find a way back out.

I'm a poboy.i can throw 50 to a hundred beans at a build here and there but forking up a couple hundred to a grand up front can be a challenge.

I've been looking at 1911s, fn a5's, and ak's lately. I found SARCO bought up all of Para Ordnances stock when they went down.

My question today is : would it be work it to try and build a 1911 off a Para Ordnance frame? I see sarco has a few models on the low low (damn reddit )

I understand there will be handfitting and tuning to contend with and that the 1911 like the ak isnt exactly a standardized singular design as much as it is tons of designs with overlapping layers of identical schematics.

The goal is a single stack 5" 45 if that makes any difference. Usually my projects take a year or more to complete. My biggest concern is that ill buy into something that sarco runs out of parts for.

Any guidance welcome, I accept that this is going to be a journey more than instant satisfaction.

Looking to build a set of A5s.

Ive found some really nicely factory finished police model receivers for a great deal but I also found some "unfinished" receivers for half the price that just need a little love and hot blueing.

I've never blued anything and these projects are meant to be lifelong keepers i can take extreme pride in.

My question here is: how hard is it gonna be to get the unfinished receivers hot blued? Would it nake more sense to just lay double for the factory new policereceivers? I mean the pricing isnt bad by anymeans but im at a cross road here.

I've also got a large plastic troph i figure i could use to do an electrolysis bath on the unfinished receivers to descale the corrosion off of them..

At the moment i'm thinking maybe I should just treat myself to the nicer of the 2 options 🤔

I've switched my laptop and desktop to Linux based OS namely Ubuntu based systems after getting tired of windows' shananagins.

I know ringcentral isn't ported to Linux but is there a work around I can use to get it to work? Maybe something with WINE software like is used with porting windows games to Ubuntu?

Since your tbi do you have a persistent "feeling" that you forgot something coupled with an inability to remember said item task or responsibility only to find later in the day that you did indeed forget something?

Do you have feuge state events /amnesia? I.e. forget who what and where you are and such?

I ask because these are becoming regular occurrences. When I say forget who what where I dont mean a "where am I suppose to be but rather a jarring physical sensation of bewilderment and confusion with a total loss of memory.

I just broke it to my family that im getting concerned about this. Usually its after a long day when i'm alone. I might forget what vehicle I arrived in, what I was there for, where im suppose to be, even who I am.

Im not sure what to do about this but try and keep my brain from getting overheated and staying hydrated.

earlier this year I was given a set of intent 1s for my mild/moderate conductive loss + tinnitus.

during our tuning sessions we were having a really really hard time dialing in my right ear. my loss is so close between both ears that we opted to cheat and mimic right for left. this nuked all the complaints I was having, managed my tinnitus without creating new problems, and was ultimately better than chasing the rabbit.

this last week I started a new job with a commercial landscaping crew. I already did landscaping on my own but something has changed this last few days.

~》i'm noticing a louder than usual and much more persistent white noise in my right side. the white noise is always there ambiently but just quiet enough for me to forget about but this last few days its been over riding EVERYTHING.

ill change programs and it will quiet down for a bit but then it picks back up. Turning them off and back on seems to help but again for only a few minutes at most.

is this sweat damage? the general audio isn't louder, only the white noise. I know these have some specialized tech in them. the week leading upto this I was having some extreme tinnitus attacks with and without the hearing aid . is the device compensating?

I can hear the white noise in my left device but its ay a comfortable ambient level as usual.

since this abruptly increased intensity I have had no more attacks.

what is this? I try not to get them wet but i'm a heavy sweater and my hair was grown out and drenched pretty consistently this week.

i'm fighting a potential eviction situation and can't afford a audi visit. is there anything I can do to tone this down on my own?

I bought a pump master about a year ago. the barrel had slipped forward of its sleeve and was jamming / eating pellets into the receiver between the sleeve and barrel face.

after taking it apart and pushing the barrel back it still isn't sending the pellet downrange. I get a load of back pressure through the receiver, a deep THUMP, even air coming out of the barrel but the pellet itself isn't moving.

the charging handle feels "wobbly" maybe it's not pushing the pellet far enough forward?

any ideas what this might be? I was pretty drunk the last time I Was playing with it and I vaguely remember sending pellets backwards a few times but I doubt that had anything to do with it.

would be nice to be able to do some yard plinking again.
