I'm an introvert and don't know how to make or keep friends.

I have, all my life, been an introvert and have had self esteem issues due to my upbringing. I, however, ended up in a highly competitive world of sales after school and I had to fake it (confidence) to make it in that world. So on the face of it, I seem confident and chatty in my work environment and I'm very good at my job, it's all a facade. The thing is, I'm not sure if people see through it because although I'm popular among my colleagues at work, no one really calls me or texts me. I also get invited to outings with my colleagues but outside of work, my false confidence doesn't work and I'm like a fish out of water. I just keep quiet and watch everyone else have a good time while I'm feeling awkward and out of place myself.

I make 'friends' easily enough throughout my whole adult life but in reality they're just work colleagues and I don't have any real friends.

Can anyone relate to this? Has anyone successfully gotten out of this situation and have gained real friendship?

Jam and clotted cream scones with homemade (foraged) Blackberry jam.

These were absolutely gorgeous! The perfect balance of sweet, creamy and tart.

Apologies for the low effort presentation!

Tapo Doorbell not catching dog fouling on my lawn!

I have the Tapo D235 but it's been making me play a game of 'Poo-do'. Someone keeps letting it's dog poo on my lawn on a weekly basis but the camera never seems to catch it.

It always seems to catch people walking left to right of the camera but nothing coming back (right to left of the image). So someone keeps letting it's dog (I hope!) foul on my lawn in direct sight of the doorbell but never seems to catch it doing it.

Any suggestions?

This is driving me nuts!

I love Durian but how would you describe the flavour to someone who hasn't tried it before?!

How would you describe the 'King of the Fruits' heavenly flavour to someone who has only smelled it pungent aroma?! Go!

Is Popeye's chicken bad or is it just the one I sent to?

So I succumbed to the hype of Popeye's and tried it for the first time in the Manchester city store when I was visiting. I had heard amazing things online and how JayZ and Bey ordered it to their wedding etc, so I was hyped.

I ordered a multi piece chicken box meal and... It was awful. The chicken tasted like cardboard, literally, and the fries were meh.

This was a while ago and now there's one just opened near me and I want to give it another try but I don't want to waste my money if it's going to be the same, dry, cardboard tasting, small pieces of chicken again.

Is Popeye's bad or is it the Manchester branch is just shit?

Don't leave old phones in a drawer!

Old Samsung S7 left in the drawer found all swollen in the drawer! This could have been really back if it had set on fire. Thanking my lucky stars.

Birthday gift from the lovely wife! Zenshin 90 Super Titanium in green [NK5020-58X]. I absolutely love it!

My first ever Citizen and first green dial watch.

Really classy dial and super light on the wrist. Movement and viewing back are hitting above it's weight and looks great from any angle!

Looks a different shade of green depending on angle viewed at or lighting conditions. Love it!

Seaglass necklace made!

We collected a haul of Seaglass from Seaham and we have been experimenting with different ways to use them. I think these necklaces we made are really pretty!
