I have major sensory issues when it comes to having stuff on my face- don’t wear foundation and sunscreen and moisturizer have always been a struggle. That said, I have red hair, am very fair, and live in Florida- has anyone here found a sunscreen that dries quickly and doesn’t come off with sweat? I’ve tried so many in the past and they either leave me feeling greasy/like I’m wearing a mask or they dry but then come off with sweat leaving my face an oily mess and my eyes stinging. I touch my face a lot too. I’m really trying to work on this because it’s so bad I don’t ever wear sunscreen but it’s just so difficult for me. Thanks all!

Feeling very antsy and irritable on 20 right now. I hate this feeling!

ETA: Going to switch to concerta and see if I experience this (hopefully not)

When did you notice blackheads and closed comedones disappear? I’ve been on accutane for almost a year and although my skin is free of breakouts I still have a lot of small bumps under the surface and blackheads all over my nose, cheeks, and chin. Not as bothersome as active acne of course but I’m really hoping they go away too!

Hi all!

I’m on my third month of Vyvanse- started at 20, went to 30, and then a few weeks ago bumped to 40. I felt the 20/30 weren’t lasting long enough but I was still feeling very motivated and positive. After going to 40, I’m finding I have many intense mood swings throughout the day. I also get stuck in freeze mode which is why I started this medication originally, like I’ve just come full circle and am back to square one which is funny. I feel I get really anxious if I don’t have a plan for my day and a list of things to knock out. Even if I have a long list of things to do and get everything done I don’t feel satisfied, like I’m anxiously trying to think of other things I can “check off.” Prior to this medication, getting something done made me feel a huge sense of accomplishment and relief and allowed me to relax. I just feel so high strung and antsy; this energy manifests itself physically too. If I have nothing to do the jaw clenching gets so bad. I bit all of my nails off down to nubs and the skin during a movie last week and my fingers still hurt.

It also really intensifies my mood- if I start my day happy I am really happy, and if I’m tired and grumpy I am really grumpy. I have always been pretty balanced and my mood would remain stable throughout the day so this is very concerning to me, and it’s straight up not fun. Even if I’m in a great mood, all it takes is something small to piss me off to ruin my day and put me in a major funk. It’s also strange that when having these mood swings I still feel disconnected/disassociated in a way. I’m sure this means my dose is too high. At this point I’m just going to take a break from it and ask to decrease when I meet with my doctor next (although I’m honestly scared to even take it at all now.)

Has anyone else experienced similar side effects? I just don’t feel like me and I fear the longer it goes on I’m going to go into psychosis or something or lose myself. Thanks!!

Bought a gorgeous Globe Wernicke bookcase off marketplace and it was absolutely infested (neither I nor the seller knew.) Luckily I noticed pretty quickly and dropped it off to get fumigated. I haven’t picked it up yet and am having second thoughts about bringing it home- is a reinfestation possible? Will it just be full of dead bugs? Not sure if I want it in my house :0

They were drywood termites, Central FL. :/
