Took my family to dinner and the owner gave us this

Took my family to dinner and the owner gave us this

I worked at CFA, my first job when I turned 16 , from 2003-2004. I still eat at the same location regularly. Saw the same owner last night and talked to him for ten minutes. He gave my kids this neat board game! Thanks Marshall!

What remains of my 2003 Renegade.

Cleaning my house to move and found these old treasures. Not sure why I still have them but I sure do miss my Liberty (I do not miss all of the issues I had with it though). We owned it from 2003 - 2022. When I first got it in 2003, I was so excited that I read the entire Owner’s Manual from front to back to learn as much as I could about it.

23’ Hybrid Lariat high pitch sound with light acceleration

In the past few weeks I’ve noticed a very faint high pitch noise with light acceleration. It’s not loud and my wife says she can’t even hear it. It’s only with light acceleration. If you hit it too hard, you can’t hear anything cause the engine is much louder. Anyone have or had this? Taking to Ford today. June is the last month of my manufacturer warranty. Just trying to be educated. No dash lights. No issues. Been solid for 27,000 miles.

Need some unique music

I love BB. They have been one of my favorite bands since Saturate. Even though I’ve gotten older, I’ve continued to follow them unlike MANY other bands that I slowly grew out of. That being said, I really would like to see some creative change from the band. A lot of the stuff is starting to sound the same. I’m not looking to start confrontational dialogue because as I said, they are still one of my favorite 5 bands. But, I’d love to see some creativity. I look at the independent stuff Keith Wallen (as you likely know, he is in BB) is putting out and it’s so damn good and unique. Another band that has really evolved with sound over the past 25 years is 10 Years. I enjoy how they always have stuff that sounds very different. From what I’ve heard, ‘Something Wicked’ is just ‘Water’ reshaped. Hoping the rest of the album has some unique diversity. You can downvote me if you like. I say this all out of love.

In 2010, I was working on a college internship in Northwest Arkansas. One weekend, I decided to do a “Quad State Tour”. I drove through, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The entire time was extremely rural as you might expect. However, while driving through Oklahoma, I saw a strange McDonald’s built over the highway. Vinita, Oklahoma was the location. Apparently, it is (or was in 2010) the largest McDonalds in the world. I stopped and ate there while sitting on top of the highway watching cars speed underneath me. It was bizarre. A very neat experience.

Any opinions on which one to get? Only thing in the attic will be the gas HVAC. We will not use it for storage. The house has another walk in attic for storage. Builder said they couldn’t move the HVAC to the walk in attic. More or less the only time it will be used is for HVAC repairs (which would be done by a repair company). It is $400 to add the pull down stairs to the attic which I thought seemed quite reasonable. That being said, if we don’t plan on using it for storage, would the smaller profile scuttle hole “look nicer” and be better for insulation purposes? Thoughts? Thanks.

The value menu is basically dead. Everything costs more points. Even my Large Frappe went up from 4,500 to 5,000. Guess it’s back to Taco Bell for me. Ba da ba ba ba.

In October of 2025, I started getting forearm pain in my left arm following an upper body workout at my local gym. The pain is unique as it only hurts when I have my arm straight (locked elbow). As long as my arm has a slight bend, no pain. Then in January of 2026, I started getting identical forearm pain in my right arm following an upper body weight lifting day.

The pain tends to be a bit worse first thing in the morning although it does usually hurt throughout the day. Some days it is bad at a 6/10 and other days it’s a bit better at 3/10. I haven’t lost any strength, I can still bench 295. However, when I make a straight arm and flex a fist, the pain is prevalent.

I have been to physical therapy three times now. They did an ultrasound and said that I have 3 mm tears in both of my elbows (essentially lateral epicondylitis - tennis elbow).

Nothing really helps. Advil and Tylenol don’t do anything. Taking time away from activity doesn’t help. Ice gives temporary relief but the pain just comes back. It is incredibly frustrating because I can’t get it to heal. Even doing the physical therapy workouts at the office and at home have not helped.

I can live with this but it is really annoying. Can anyone offer any tips or advice on how to properly go about this? I appreciate the assistance.

In the past 6 months, I have had to process 2 credit card disputes against Pokemon Company.

First, I purchased and they charged me for the Charizard UPC back in late 2025. The item still hasn’t arrived to this day. I tried contacting PC by email, chat, phone, it’s relatively impossible. So, I have to do the only thing I can to get refunded, process a dispute.

Second, I purchased the Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres skateboards to hang up in my room. They arrive and the boxes are crushed. I can tell they are damaged so I don’t even bother with them. I just process a return. I do everything by the book and even go to the post office to get the tracking number. The return goes fine. I receive confirmation from PC that they received all 3 of the skateboards. The Articuno and Moltres boards process a refund. The Zapdos one still hasn’t, a month later. I want to do the easy thing and just talk to their customer service. But, they have NO customer service. So once again, I have to go through a 90 day dispute with my credit card to get refunded.

I love Pokemon. My kids love Pokemon. We love the show, the cards, and everything about it. HOWEVER, the PC customer service being non-existent is insane. I know they are busy. I know they are inundated with requests. That being said, replying to me within a WEEK is not a huge ask. This company needs to figure out its customer service.

Has anyone else had issues?
