Looking for some advice on tracking down a hard short.
the vehicle has been sitting for a few months, and i’m now dealing with a recurring short. i’ve already got the dash pulled apart to inspect the wiring. i’m looking for the best way to isolate the circuit without just guessing
I’ve installed oil pressure and heat sensor gauge cluster in the dash befor I tried to splice it to the radio running light and think I need to try and clear the line I used for this? I recently finished my head rebuilt the engine and done all the work to put it back but I blew 2 distributors I think after doing my first start or trying . When I did finally crank over it gesitated and dies shortly after so I did put it together phew lol but now I’m stuck with no spark at all this is my best conclusion the the work I’ve done and I uploaded a shot of my radio rat nest I hope this helps thank you all I really don’t know what I’m doing. But I’m also more bork the a piggy bank and just feel alone with all the car guys and community I’ve always been told forum redit and all but I just can’t find what I’m looking for
