Seriously, I am a political junkie against my will and used to watch C-SPAN like a freak back in the day... and it is FINALLY happening. The tide is actually turning, I actually thought we would all go gently into that good night of Fascism, but we are becoming truly woke at a rapid pace. This is what WOKE means, and always has: We have awoken to the fact that our government has been bought and paid for by the highest bidder for quite some time and we need to take care of each other as HUMANS. This is a message Bernie has been trying to deliver for 50 years. I hope you are sleeping better at night, Senator Sanders. The good fight is never over, but DAYUM, you're gaining ground!

Seriously, it's what I wanted to do. My grandfather was the editor of a newspaper. But there was no present day market, even back then, and no guaranteed income. A boy told me he'd get me a job where he worked when I turned down a date because I was sad I had lost my job that day. That's how I ended up at a Nursing Home run by nuns and then the Mr. Rogers/science geek in me got me interested in helping people and medicine and off I went to Nursing School.

I am, however, addicted to politics AGAINST MY WILL and I looked at the clock all day yesterday like a freak because the El-Sayed election in Michigan was so important. I am also trying to become enlightened and dissolving the ego and not investing in this 3D world is REALLY tough when you willingly used to watch C-SPAN for some inexplicable fucking reason. Yeah, I am in the crisis of what could have been, and that blows so hard. I have ALWAYS lived my whole life so that I WOULD have more regrets than what-ifs. Sigh, I know an unnatural amount about politics and what is happening at every moment and I now realize that reddit is what scratches that itch. I can at least opine and engage and feel like I influenced the conversation towards helping others. I guess I needed to write this to realize that. I will forever be on Aaron Schwartz's reddit, fighting the good fight.

Seriously, we know the fucking difference between the sold out and the representative of the working poor (which we ALL are) and want delineating headline news with names.

It may be the only way that white men can redeem themselves and be included in the new world after all. They both are enlightened and may be just the Trojan Horse we need.

Users are catching on to looking at profiles before engaging with bad faith actor accounts. Accounts that are brand new and those that don't show their comment history are just being cut out of the discussions. I first came to reddit because it seemed like an outlet for smart people. It seems to be going in that direction again. NO ONE is buying the bullshit anymore as they struggle to survive while watching a Fascist regime waste or steal every one of our tax dollars they can. Let's cut them ALL out of the discussions and take back this site.

Seriously, my original account would have been 17 years old this year, but I had a vivid nightmare that ICE came for me and murdered me in front of the Rec Center on the sidewalk and the next day the story broke about DHS wanting Reddit user data. I whimped out and deleted in a panic and am now having misgivings like we can vote our way out of this...we can't, right?

The "Centrists" are poised to fight Progressives tooth and nail to maintain control of the controlled opposition party because their owner-sponsor corporations/foreign governments told/threatened them to. Everyone is so through with this shit. No one is voting for these corporate tools.
