Are there any in-game things you’ve randomly come across which tell a story of their own and if so, what have been your highlights? E.g. yesterday I was looking for flowers, herbs etc and came across a little makeshift grave and memorial in the middle of nowhere with ‘YOU WERE WARNED’ written in blood on the rock above it and it just made me wonder what the hell happened to whoever is buried there? Have you guys come across anything like this? I’d love to hear your stories and headcanons

SOLVED! It was Hoyt Volker’s initiation speech in the game Far Cry 3!

All I can remember is there was some sort of business boss (villain I think) preaching to his board of directors or whatever. He says something along the lines of:

‘My father was a coal miner. Every day he would brush his teeth, kiss my mother and then down into the earth he would go.’

I think this was leading up to him possibly revealing some sort of nefarious plan to make everyone in the room rich, by evil means but I could be wrong.

That’s all I’ve got I’m afraid, sorry I can’t give more details

An infinitely better line and line delivery than Season 2 of The Last Of Us. If we’re not getting a 2nd game then HBO should be swinging money into a DG series. The Walking Dead, 28 Days Later and Sons Of Anarchy Rolled into one. Written well it would destroy TV as we know it!

From strange people, terrible food etc to the most disturbing things you saw, what are some of your wildest inmate stories?

So when I was a kid I had this absolutely massive Godzilla figure where you could feed action figures of the people from the movie from the same toy line into its mouth then pop off a section of the fins on his back to get the figure back out again. I remember this thing being HUGE! I’ve looked for it everywhere I can but I can’t fin it anywhere

Where I grew up your ‘fingers’ were your best 5 mates on your hand and if you could could them off on five fingers you were set for life. If you had five friends you could count off on your friend you could count on them. Is this really a new concept?

I’m not meaning to antagonise anyone but that was a pretty common phrase where I grew up. All five of you would then wrap your fingers into a fist and fist-bump together to show you’re all five fingers in one hand that could take on the world like the famous five etc. I didn’t know it was an unknown term haha!

Ive played everything from Resident Evil to Alien Isolation, horror games are my go-to but I’m legit scared by this game. What should I be prepared for, what should I take with me if I just set sail,, what should I expect to find out there?
